whoever picks the music for Chuck has frighteningly good taste in music, as well as the talent to match it perfectly. Chuck is basically a musical jackpot.
Among all Chuck's songs, I think this one is one of the best. So perfect in the moment, touching, breath taking, I cannot find a word to describe how I felt when I first listened to it, and how I still fell when I see this scene in Paris
WOW. I've listened to Hospice countless times, and when I heard this on Chuck I couldn't believe it. I didn't think Chuck could give justice to the emotional depth of the song, but it did. The haunting instrumentals were the perfect part for when Chuck shot Shaw. Epic. Chuck has the best music out of every tv show I've seen.
Heard this song on the Chuck episode "Chuck Versus the Other Guy" yesterday during my personal series marathon and the somber atmosphere created by this song coupled with an amazing emotional ending made that episode the best ~42 minutes of television I have ever watched. Thank you to Chuck for leading me here. Both are easy 5 stars.
we tend to take things for granted when its here in front of us without thinking what it would be like for that person you love to be gone. Take a second an appreciate that person in your life that you love. Thank you for this
im 17 years old now and i havent cried since i was about 13. its not like i didnt want to i just couldnt. listening to this song reminded me of the hospital room with my grandpa who was terminally ill. it made me remember what i said to him and the feelings i had. and for the first time in about 4 years i cried for a good 10 minutes. its a beautiful and depressing song
Um Brasileiro aqui. Sim, essa música é incrível, assim como a série, sinto muitas saudades, e sempre volto aqui para ouvir a trilha sonora da série para matar essa saudades. Bom saber que não sou o único
Great song choice and placement on Chuck. The song plays both as Shaw confronts Sarah in the warehouse and then again as Shaw dies on the bridge. Such an epic episode!
This is an incredible, INCREDIBLE, piece of music. I am so incredibly moved. I can't even begin to explain. It's so heartbreakingly beautiful, I've almost lost track of where I'm going with this comment.
seriously one of the greatest stories through an album ever. the story get's me everytime. after listening to this whole album i came to peace with myself. after going through something rough like this myself i learn that it's passable. everything in life you can surpass all alone. everyone thinks you "need somone" but seeing and hearing this story, Silberman understands the lack of pure people in this world. staying by one's side doesn't mean they will stay by yours. Thank you, Antlers
Persistence and I found this song. When I first heard it, I was mesmorized. I have to admit up until now I didn't know what he was saying and now knowing it's about cancer brings me even closer to the song. It's absolutely emotionally touching and unremarkably transcending. Thank you to each and every one of you who hears the beauty in this song.
[Verse 1] I wish that I had known in that first minute we met The unpayable debt that I owed you Because you'd been abused by the bone that refused you And you hired me to make up for that [Verse 2] Walking in that room when you had tubes in your arms Those singing morphine alarms out of tune Kept you sleeping and even And I didn't believe them when they called you a hurricane thunderclap [Verse 3] When I was checking vitals I suggested a smile You didn't talk for a while, you were freezing You said you hated my tone, it made you feel so alone And so you told me I ought to be leaving [Verse 4] But something kept me standing by that hospital bed I should have quit, but instead, I took care of you You made me sleep and uneven And I didn't believe them when they told me that there was no saving you. Because i wanted to fucking read this gold shit
Chuck brought me here and im so glad it did cos this music is about cancer and i lost my mum to 3 different types of cancer only 6 months ago and this song is just perfect
Hozier brought me here. These guys opened for the Hozier Concert last saturday in Merriweather Post Pavilion. Whoever was doing sound for these guys had the levels all screwy but from what I could tell, their music had potential. So here I am, listening to their music. I actually really like it so far. Very pretty. :P
@streeTkiDwannaBe I completely agree with you. The first time I heard this song I was falling asleep in my friends car, but when those last lyrics drop and the music explodes I sat up, immediately awake and didn't even know what to think.
Song is awesome. Video is really good too, I like the art style, it's wierd how thin black lines can give a picture a different kind of character. Nice job :D
Chuck is awesome. Always brings unknown artists like this some well deserved publicity. Great song - peaceful but disturbing. Speak quietly and people will listen.
Yessir! Their entire "Hospice" album tells a story and plays with themes and variations. For songs that particularly share this song's vibe, I would check out "Wake" and "Atrophy."
@iHoldeni Well, this last episode "Chuck vs. the other guy" was supposed to be the season finale, but the producers found out that they're getting 6 more episodes, which will be starting April 26th
@yvonovski too bad I didn't know about the voting, the best part I guess is that the show will not be cancelled :), although how will be the ending now? with Sarah pregnant?
Oh the Chuck, how I miss thee.
whoever picks the music for Chuck has frighteningly good taste in music, as well as the talent to match it perfectly. Chuck is basically a musical jackpot.
Chuck !!!!! all the best songs ! played just at the right time.
Among all Chuck's songs, I think this one is one of the best. So perfect in the moment, touching, breath taking, I cannot find a word to describe how I felt when I first listened to it, and how I still fell when I see this scene in Paris
"So sad but fine when I hear it..."
My mother died this morning of a hard battle with cancer. She's been on Hospice (
The perfect song for the perfect episode of Chuck. And then the Plants & Animals song... it was all perfect.
First TV show to use this was Chuck. All the others are latecomers!

"But something kept me standing
By that hospital bed"
woah...
to me, that is just, insanely powerful.
im 17 years old now and i havent cried since i was about 13. its not like i didnt want to i just couldnt. listening to this song reminded me of the hospital room with my grandpa who was terminally ill. it made me remember what i said to him and the feelings i had. and for the first time in about 4 years i cried for a good 10 minutes. its a beautiful and depressing song
I ended here for the movie "Camp X Ray", this is her heartbreaking final song.
were my tears able to sing my hearts pain... even so would they fall.... i am deeply touched.... an indescribable perfection this is....
2:34 No Chuck, i can. You can't.
2:36 Chuck saves Sarah
Hola, hombre!
A melhor série, nostalgia total
Happy 10th Anniversary. Wish I could listen to this album for the first time again.
Great song choice and placement on Chuck. The song plays both as Shaw confronts Sarah in the warehouse and then again as Shaw dies on the bridge. Such an epic episode!

This song and this whole album is absolutely amazing.

The 100 became in a few episodes one of my favorite tv series! Plus, each episode I can expect at least one good sog to shazam 😀😎
Persistence and I found this song. When I first heard it, I was mesmorized. I came to this video because I love The Antlers music and i have to say I love the video also, it is quite mystical and unique.
I first heard this in the HBO upcoming 2010/2011 programming promo. Beautiful song! Cool video, too :)
This is such a pretty song, his voice is haunting...I love it =]
CHUCK!
that episode - chuck vs the other guy - was awesome.
Go Chuck and great music too
Seriously, Chuck uses the best damn music on tv! Another great choice by the music dept. and so thrilled to hear The Antlers on such an epic episode!
When I'm sad I'm looking for this song, I need another dose of sadness ... it has something magical.
this song is too damn good
There was just this very emotional moment during an episode that climaxed and they played this song.
Really awesome song. First one I ever heard by The Antlers. As he started to sing, I totally fell in love with this awesome piece of music
Agreed. That scene was just amazing. I still feel it's one of the best scenes ever in that series.
Whoever picks out the music for Chuck does an amazing job. If You Leave, Kettering, and Bye Bye Bye fit 3.13 perfectly.
the similarities to this song and Radiohead's "street spirit" are striking, beautiful, and chilling, both happen to be nothing but perfection
over the years I have returned here multiple times...
Chuck
Sense8
recently, the 100
Chuck has a great selection of music!
being on youtube for hours after clicking video after video in the "up next" brought me here
this song was featured in an episode of Chuck. Very emotional scene and Im glad that I found out who the artist was =)
what a gorgeous song...
[Verse 1]
I wish that I had known in that first minute we met
The unpayable debt that I owed you
Because you'd been abused by the bone that refused you
And you hired me to make up for that
[Verse 2]
Walking in that room when you had tubes in your arms
Those singing morphine alarms out of tune
Kept you sleeping and even
And I didn't believe them when they called you a hurricane thunderclap
[Verse 3]
When I was checking vitals I suggested a smile
You didn't talk for a while, you were freezing
You said you hated my tone, it made you feel so alone
And so you told me I ought to be leaving
[Verse 4]
But something kept me standing by that hospital bed
I should have quit, but instead, I took care of you
You made me sleep and uneven
And I didn't believe them when they told me that there was no saving you.
Because i wanted to fucking read this gold shit
This song is so powerful, it can reduce me to tears through it's sheer beauty. This is what I live for.
Beautiful music, magic on Chuck show !
Right now my life is awesome.I realized it a few moments ago and that's the song i wanted to here.Chuck made me what i am today.

Chuck brought me here and im so glad it did cos this music is about cancer and i lost my mum to 3 different types of cancer only 6 months ago and this song is just perfect
Sound track to the Freddy Roach HBO Documents brought me here few years ago. Fear the Walking Dead brought me back. This song is so melodic. I love it
Chuck has all the great music. WE NEED SEASON 4!

Chuck will forever be the best series ever made.

Hozier brought me here. These guys opened for the Hozier Concert last saturday in Merriweather Post Pavilion. chuck keeps on getting better and better....
chuckie awesome episode, fantastic song.
I can only say...WOW!
This is officially the best "unofficial" MV I've ever seen
Hospice as an album, let alone the songs on it, is just sooo powerful.
When this song was published and when i first heard in 2009 was what brought me here. Very personal..
The song and Chuck are amazing :)
This song gives me the chills
Camp X-Ray. Must See movie.
Song is awesome. Video is really good too, I like the art style, it's wierd how thin black lines can give a picture a different kind of character. Nice job :D
when i focused on the lyrics to this song, that's when i really began to appreciate it.
Chuck is awesome. Always brings unknown artists like this some well deserved publicity. Great song - peaceful but disturbing.
Speak quietly and people will listen.

Reminds me the game Machinarium.
Tremendous song, great video and superb game.
So sad, but so beautiful! Thanks to Chuck for made me knowing that song!

I saw them in concert on Friday, they were amazing, as usual: )
Beautiful!
Chuck! And what an episode! :)
Will be interesting though what the remaining episodes will be like considering episode 13 was originally the finale.
Went to Google it when i heard it in the movie "Repeaters" - brilliant song!
No words..

i hope the show doesnt get cancelled!!!!
Beautiful song that i discovered in Chuck. I m so sad but fine when i hear it.
I haven't seen a single episode but from what I can tell from UA-cam, a few Hospice songs were in some episode(s?)
@vjjchew totally agree. And the way the music gives you hints about the scene is spot on too!
Yessir! Their entire "Hospice" album tells a story and plays with themes and variations. For songs that particularly share this song's vibe, I would check out "Wake" and "Atrophy."
HIs voice is so filled with emotion. especially when he says " you hated my tone"
chuck brought me here. thanks for sharing!
the song was in there :D
Hi Arcade! Small world man...
@iHoldeni Well, this last episode "Chuck vs. the other guy" was supposed to be the season finale, but the producers found out that they're getting 6 more episodes, which will be starting April 26th
I like Chuck & Sarah, but this artwork is pretty nice aswell, thanks to uploader and keep up the good work :)

Haha, I'm not making any money but thank you! I just did it for the love of the song and the sake of art. I'm glad so many people seem to enjoy it.
Chuck has the best music ever!!!
wonderful song
@yvonovski too bad I didn't know about the voting, the best part I guess is that the show will not be cancelled :), although how will be the ending now? with Sarah pregnant?
@ajwildeISU
I was trying to find that song and couldn't remember what episode it was from. Thanks!
Que bueno no haber cambiado mi cuenta de youtube nunca, porque me recomienda música que escuchaba hace 14 años!! 🎉🎉🎉
