So soaking the filter and getting the dirt on the inside of the filter is recommended by manufacturing companies??? Not the process i got from one of the ones you listed.

@@thegreenthing7603 cost of new depends on the filter. Sometime more cost effective to clean then buy new however you can only clean them so many times before it needs to be replaced
My experience has been that wealthy businesses got that way by cutting costs. Air filters aren't cheap. In farm use where there's lots of dust (harvesting) the filter sometimes has to be blown out daily.

I can't speak for truck filters but it won't make sense cleaning car filter's because the average cost of a new car filter is $12us
fleet tech truck filters cost around 70 bucks each

will wet cleaning work for all car air filters regardless of material type (cotton, paper etc)?
Yes you just need to learn how to do it i work for this company now, Its the same technique but water pressure and type of flow is what varies
