Ultimaya Tzolkin is supposed to be level 0, but its effect always treat it as a level 12. Mostly there for flavor since that how it was in the manga. Also thanks to you I have a need to buy more shiny card board :P
I like the way spells abs traps look in PUR and PCR from rarity collection. It’s great because I can get those copies for relatively cheap because people are focused on qcr and platinum.
As someone who only plays goat format. I love epic reprints like this. Collectors rare Metamorphosis, Trap Dustshoot, pot of greed and Delinquent duo when? :)
my thoughts exactly. anyone against old cards being reprinted is clearly more into the hobby as a financial investment or just want their collection to feel more rare and exclusive. I sympathize with that collectors desire to have a card that not a lot of other people have or is worth a lot of money but i think in the end its pretty selfish and goes against the real spirit of card games. I just recently got back into yugioh after not having played it since i was maybe in 6th grade at oldest, and all im personally concerned about is having relatively affordable access to the old school/goat format era cards. and as you said a lot of those are still stupidly expensive. heres hoping all those cards get reprints, and id really love to see some more of the random common monsters get foil versions that haven't gotten one yet
It won't matter. The old cards from pre-GX era still have a unique "flavor" / style of print to them that Konami will never replicate again. This separation was apparent when they released the 25yr anniversary booster packs from back then and the cards are the "same" but different flavor. That's how they've managed to protect legacy cards that were printed in that era.
It doesn't matter if vintage is reprinted, the reprints are completely different in every way from the originals, actual vintage will still hold value.
It’s called taking a risk. Don’t want to lose money then don’t risk the money. This is how real life investing works. There are no work arounds unless one is the ceo of a mega corporation. Markets can be highly volatile.
The starlight rare exodia is actually more expensive than last time i checked a month ago, every piece is going nearly 100 plus dollars as opposed to some pieces being 75 dollars last month.
I honestly love old school cards being printed in these luxury rarities. Most aren't worth much meaning you can pick up many without breaking the bank. As always picking up singles is the way to go
The best way is to buy whoever has s a lot of stock and the cheapest price (especially if it’s just falling off or gonna rise) And yeah I think the collector rare r the lamest rarity and worst to “collect” I thought they would be the coolest and collector ones but …no The QCRs r definitely more collector feeling and cooler (especially since there are more in anime arts/English art)
Very nice collection! I use to play a lot of yugioh 2014-2017 and was getting into my local tournament scene during the deskbot/monarch/odd eye magician era. I’ve been wanting to play and collect again. Any ideas of where I can start or what sets are worth buying now?
For most modern cards I prefer American. European cards are way too saturated nowadays. - Cimo: However - I agree that some of the Ultimate Rares are an exception because the texturing is better, but not the coloring.
Have yal noticed some of the 25th quarter century logos appearing to be defective? Almost like it was exposed to excessive heat or the stamp was low on glue (or whatever material they use)
@@OgFurious1 if anything it could make the card MORE valuable in the future. similar to how misprints and foil bleeds and foil shifts are worth more than regular cards, collectors may be willing to pay extra for QCR stamp "misprints" too. at the end of the day its still a QCR card, it just has a different texture than others because of a random variable; which technically increases its rarity.
@ yep, looks especially nice since you can get all the god cards in qcr to match the qcr exodia set. relatively inexpensive to get a really nice binder page imo.
Nice video, as allways. :) I have a question, maybe you or someone in the comments has an idea. Im from Europe (Germany). I'd love to get me a Goat Deck in Quarter Century Rare. But I would love to have the cards in US print. But they are pritty rare here and 2 times pricier then eu prints. But there are only a view sellers on tcgplayers who ship to germany. My idea was, to find maybe someone who is interested maybe in EU copies, not only QCRs. Which are propably much more affordable over here. So, everybode shops the list of the other and then send the wanted cards so everybody benefits. :)
lol when you buy high end cards...only to single sleeve them lol yea after 1 year you'll have abrasions on it 100% its why mint cards are so hard to find these days
Can't collect modern Yugioh anymore. When konami sees something worth money, they'll try to reprint it in higher rarity or a similar rarity. Look at starlights and CRs. QCRs are next on the chopping block.
Personally between Exodia's legs I like to put a printing of the Spellbinding Circle. It's one of the few cards that make sense imo xv
Bro I AM the ONLY One who puts a Little D. Between the Exodia's legs?
I put a Little D
@@BobaFatt182 Exactly. That's the normal and sensible thing to do these days looks like

2:45 you need something in between exodias legs (chooses another Head 💀👀)
Nah, monster reborn, or millennium ankh
The Little D is the best card to put between Exodia's legs
Little D, is a better choice.
seriously tho i put RA sphere mode (swole)
We need CR little D reprint@@5ENNA
where do u generally buy your singles at?
I think vintage collectors need to support/buy modern product if they don't want vintage to be reprinted.
Agreed.

Yeah, you shouldn’t buy ots ulti’s off tcgplayer without photos unfortunately
TCG Ultimate Rare (pre-Konami) was the best, and 10+ years later remains the best.

Jealous of the kuribohs :O
If you want to fill the second row when putting all the Exodia pieces in a binder, just put Monster Reborn and see what happen.
My only fear is that QCR will become the new gold rare.
Whose to say they aren't the new gold rare. Watch the 30th century secret rare look exactly like QCSR, but with a 30th anniversary logo.
as long as you happy man

WCR LBO BLUE EYES, is like 300 now
oof that econ ulti is really disappointing. The eu print ones of those are insane
I was going to say that.
The Eu Ulti prints are much superior to the AM prints
QCR the way to go
That enemy controller is NA print. The nicer looking ones are European - for OP, European is a clear better choice!
Where do we get european english cards online? Is there a site that delivers all around thr world?
@ the U.K. is full, but also sometimes Canada gets euro products and so does Australia
For most modern cards I prefer American. European cards are way too saturated nowadays. - Cimo: However - I agree that some of the Ultimate Rares are an exception because the texturing is better, but not the coloring.
The guy said it was from Canada so I was hoping for a Euro print. Also, some of the NA print OTS ultis look very nice... it is hit or miss these days
I’m the opposite…. I wish the foil on all qcrs were all like the seal of orical.
Have yal noticed some of the 25th quarter century logos appearing to be defective? Almost like it was exposed to excessive heat or the stamp was low on glue (or whatever material they use)
Yes my blue eyes QCR from bonanza has a stamp that looks kinda bubbly

I place "obliterate!!!!!!" Between exodias legs.
maybe its just me but that holo pattern is pretty tacky looking, but happy you like what you have.
for my exodia pages i use the god cards for the top slots and the mp24 raigeki slifer alt art for the bottom middle.
Yea I think exodis plus god cards is best unless the whole page can be filled with different exodia cards

10$ dmg. Now it costs 3.5$ in EU 😅
My binder with exodia I chose obliterate to put in the missing slot
Bought 3 copies of e con last week all had the swirl effect you where talking about
I also have my exodia incarnate between the exodia legs haha

Ah yes yu gi oh reprinting 20 year old cards and making them shinier 😂

read the text of Tzolkin it not misprint
