@@0axel078 Although the comment is crude there is some truth to it. I fail to see any resemblance or inspiration in Chazelle's work from Chronicle of a Summer. He seems to reference Pialat and Rohmer a lot as well, but to me their work couldn't be more different from what he is doing, not just stylistically, but artistically as well. I wonder if any of this is to score extra brownie points with the academy prior to the Oscars. It is all marketing at the end of the day.
