Made it look easy, which it certainly isn't. Never been into Tromsoe, but landed many times at Bardufoss just to the south when I flew the C-130, and I can assure you that the winds in those narrow fjords and valleys can get pretty interesting, especially in the winter. At BDU it wasn't uncommon to see the windocks at opposing ends of the runway pointed in opposite directions. Bravo Zulu to this young man

It’s true those winds are no joke in this region!

@@Flightradar24DotCom I've had my fair share of aborted landings in the Dash8 up here. Hammerfest was by far the most daunting crosswinds. Like the other commenter said, "if Widerøe pilots arent flying , don't go outside."

The amount of weather these Widerøe pilots has to deal with is crazy, amazing pilots.

I am not a pilot, but the first airplane I flew in was a Ford Tri-motor operated by Island Airlines. The flight was from Port Clinton, OH to Put-in Bay... RogerC 3/28/24

How to land in Tromsø: step 1. turn around, dont do it. Step 2. go to Bodø, enjoy life.

That’s funny, are we sensing a certain Tromsø-Bodø rivalry here?

@@Flightradar24DotCom Most definitively, cat and mouse. But put Oslo into any mix as an opponent, and Bodø and Tromsø will act like twins loving each other dearly.
