Love when Nate sais, "if the world could travel more, the world would be a better place".... If you've been watching Kara and Nate for long then you know Nate has said this multiple times before and I completely agree.
Agree so much with this.
@@belfairyl 🙌
We couldn’t agree more with his sentiments 🫶
It would be helpful if Daily Drop helped with miles and points tips for people in non-USA countries, and if Fare Drop was also for more than just people in the USA.
Not sure where you live, but you can start accumulating miles by joining for free the airlines mileage points and simply shopping through their partners websites, a lot of them have partnerships with big brands like Amazon, Uber, UberEats, JustEat, Starbucks etc…
Totally agree! I’m hoping that they are working on that! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I'll tell you a little story......6 years ago we were still working traditional jobs and came across Kara & Nate. We saw them and were inspired to travel & tell stories too! Well, as soon as we retired, we put our fears aside and hit the road! Thanks Kara and Nate for the inspiration to "just book it"!

Teamwork making the DREAM WORK! Thanks for a peep behind the scenes.
So true! Thanks for the comment 🤍
This was undeniably a master piece. I am a day one K&N fan and viewer, so seeing them here is almost surreal. Glad to even have been a fraction of the journey. Just book it!
Thank you so much! This made our day 🥹 JUST BOOK IT BABY!
I think the elephant in the room is that to get Miles and Points are
1 - You need to actually get approved for the card
2 - You have to spend the required amount to get those points....this cost MONEY, often THOUSANDS
3 - 100% of everything you guys talked about are US only.
I tried applying the same principles of miles and points to travel and it just doesn't work here in the UK....there are not enough cards to give you enough points to get anywhere with it.
Not everyone has the luxury of having a home to return to broke 😅. So much privilege here lol
This video is so tone deaf. Very privileged people. Keep deleting my comments Daily Drop!! Lol you know you are
Yes! Miles and points are great, I love them. But they aren't free!
@@sarge97 They are not indeed. You have to be already buying something in order to get them "free" and in day to day life I do not spend thousands to qualify for them. Perhaps once in like 5 years when I need a new computer.
Also, over here we do not do the taxes like you guys do. So we don't pay taxes that way, and even if you do. The government do not take credit card as payment, they only accept money from a Debit card, aka from an account. So the BILT card trick do not work here, not that we have BILT. We don't even have Chase Sapphire cards..and I have a Chase account.
I love Kara and Nate but as an Australian, have the same issues as you in the UK.
Cool concept for a video to have the whole team on a trip together. Certainly a well traveled group lol awesome to hear their stories and how travel has shaped their lives. What a good boss you are Nate 😁
So glad that you liked the video! Thanks for the comment 😎
I appreciated the comment on domestic travel at 8:24. International travel is difficult for my family, so we are seeing every part of the United States we can. We redeem our miles and points for gas cards, restaurant cards, and Airbnb cards. International travel is a great goal, but seeing your home country isn't a bad way to begin.
100% agree with this! Domestic travel can be an awesome place to start.
I'm an OG sub from Kara and Nate. One of the things that I've always loved is that they learn about people in their travels. I've been blessed to have lived in Germany 13 years. I've seen all of Europe. So much learning occurs when you immerse yourself into local cultures. No matter what part of the earth you're at. We as humans want the same things. TO have a healthy life, Spend time with our families, try to make certain our families are secure. Life is short and having those basic things is what drives me, my wife, my kids.....And to be caring and giving to others that we can help. Safe travels to you all!
🙌
Have to say, you have a stellar team Kara and Nate. Nice job taking care of them. You guys inspire my small channel. Thanks for all the videos. 🎉
LOVE this video and so thankful that the Daily Drop team exists! I’ve learned so much from you all. ❤

Wow! This is one of my favorite DailyDrop videos yet! I will go share it on my social media! You guys changed my life! I can relate to all of the benefits of travel that everyone mentioned! So thankful for all the trips I was able to take over the last year! Thank you so much!!
This just made our day:)
I absolutely agree with the “things will go wrong” part of this video.
One of my favorite travel memories is getting lost in the Italian countryside north of Siena for hours in the dark. This was years ago in the dark ages before cell phone GPS maps. We were trying to find the B&B using paper maps. We were so lost. We left Siena at 6pm and didn’t find the place until 9:30. But those lovely people had waited for us, welcomed us, and had made us a dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant. So, we went to dinner at 10 - which for Italy is right on time - and had a fantastic meal that I still remember to this day. It’s such a wonderful memory.
One of the best things about travel is that it greatly improves your ability to punt in the face of things going wrong!
Yes yes yes!!!
I can’t wait to start traveling again someday. We’ve got some financial issues holding us back right now but I’m working hard to get back on track so we can travel again. Thank you for the inspiration
Great Video with nice imagery, music and a good style of cutting back and forth between the people being interviewed, and adding in views of Kara and Nates original Video. Had to laugh during Kara and Nates Video at the irony of all you guys having flight delays and cancelations that were keeping you from traveling to go and celebrate the work you do with flights and traveling!
You do need money. It's how you get started on miles and points, and often that's how you keep this going. But you view it as "I'm spending money on filling up my gas tank to get double points on my credit card so I can travel"...what you're doing is trying to get two things for the price of one. It's not a bad way to make a trip less expensive in the long run but you do need money to pay off that credit card every month. (I joined up when K&N had less than 200,000 subscribers.)
Agree. You can get a signup bonus but those don’t go far and you have to spend a lot to keep getting points
You absolutely do need money to travel. That is why these type of videos rub me wrong, especially these days. I am saving for my first trop abroad, and I plan on using daily drop to do so. But telling everyone that u don’t need money in this economy is just a little tone deaf. With that being said I adore these people.
This is what I always think. The avg school teacher that makes $40k would never be able to collect the points to really go anywhere. You still have to spend $100k a year in order to really have points to travel the world. But still love their videos. I have been traveling the globe my whole life.
True, but you don’t need to have a credit card or start flying to start earning miles. You can start accumulating miles by joining for free the airlines mileage points and simply shopping through their partners websites, a lot of them have partnerships with big brands like Amazon, Uber, UberEats, JustEat, Starbucks etc…
@@luizaoliveira629 Everybody is making terrific points here on how the miles and points game works. It's harder for some than for others but 90% of us aren't traveling the world like K&N do. We're aiming for that one trip...hopefully more to come...to take advantage of lowering the costs of travel. My wife and I are loading up for a round-the-world trip that's coming in the fall of 2025. My wife's an Aussie so we make many trips to Oz and we use points to travel US domestically to the west coast (Qantas points aren't worth anything right now). I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do when I'm able to start booking flights and hotels in a couple of months. BTW, I did a points run DFW-SFO-SEA-DFW back in February...whole trip took 17 hours.
Loved this video and getting to hear from everyone!! ❤️❤️❤️
Awesome video as always Daily Drop Crew.
Thank you so much! We appreciate it 🤍
Seeing everything that Kara and Nate have accomplished warms my heart! ❤ I live vicariously through them and their videos make me happy! Btw - I know I've requested this before but PLEASE visit Albania and make a video on its coastal cities of Vlore, Sarande, Ksamil. More people need to see those hidden gems: clean, cheap, fun, safe, and very friendly people. Now that it's summer is the perfect time to visit. Please and thank you! Much love! ❤
Lovely meeting the Team hearing their stories 😊 what Nate & Kara have achieved 🥰
Sadly due to health & medication i can’t just book a holiday to anywhere ( i wish ) but
Its nice to get a taste through your travel videos 😜.
I loved watching both video's today!! Very encouraging and Fun!!! Have a great rest of your day Brendan
Awe so happy to hear this! Thank you 😊
LOVED this video. I'm a road traveller so don't use miles and points (at this stage!) Absolutely loved this behind the scenes inspirational video - more of this please. Your team has A LOT of valuable travel advice to share.
It’s so nice to be able to see extravagant places like this (that most of us will never get to) as seen from the view of regular people - and your appreciation for how you got here just shows what kind of wonderful, humble people you are. Good for you and what you’ve accomplished!
Thank you!
Love the travel channel and subscribed to this one as well. Wondering if you're gonna do a future episode for Canadians?? So far a lot of the info only works for Americans and American credit cards.
Fantastic intro. I'm already loving this video and I'm only a minute in!
Yay! Thank you!
We started points and miles in April and have our first family vacation out of the country booked for Feb 2025! Absolutely no way we could have ever done this without P&M! Also, let's get Austin on here more, he said he has 3 kids! Would love more family travel hacking. Harder to decide how to use your points the more people you have to use them on lol!
We love to hear this! Enjoy your trip & we will definitely keep family travel content in mind for the future!
I lovw this video so much! This needs to reach more people!!
Awe thank you 🥹
A friend of mine inherited money and wanted to travel, but she was so scared, she had never flown before and cried before she went on her first trip. After that she was seriously bitten by the travel bug 🤩 If I can't travel or at least plan a trip, I get depressed. Travel is what keeps me happy
Love this! Enjoy your trip ✈️
Omg that’s the coolest disco SHARK 🦈 IVE EVER SEEN!!!!
Ahh it was so insanely cool!
A fantastic video, couldn’t agree more with all of you! I love travelling myself ❤🎉😊
Glad you enjoyed it! Happy Travels 🎉✈️
Looks like fun! Glad you got this perk- I’m sure glad for your information you put out!
You bet!
My bucket list of places to travel Arizona Atlanta Utah Seattle Bahamas Jamaica and Rome over the years I have traveled mostly in the states once out of the country but none of those places were either of my bucket list or dream travel spots.
Love this video, would love to see more Q&As with Kara and Nate, gives us so much inspiration to travel and just book it! Almost saved a total of £15,000 now by using miles points and credit cards, and that’s only over 3 years 🥳
Amazing job 👏 We love to hear this!
I must say, it's so awesome to see u all as a team. Then to see and hear theses one on one questions that you all were asked and answered.... for me it helps ALOT and just give me the nedge to "just plan it and to JUST BOOK IT 😅". Thanks for both videos this one and o the main one. U guys rock. Regards Gloria from Soth Africa 🌍 Pretoria
It was so fun to be together as a team! We feel so grateful. Thanks for the kind comment 😊
This was epic ❤❤❤
So much positivity in 1 video 😍 I love it
We are a bubbly group here at Daily Drop 😂
I’m only half way through this video and it definitely could have been longer 😅 I can sit here all day and watch/listen to everyone and their experiences in travel! Would make for a good podcast episode 😅
Maybe we will have to share some more of the interview footage soon…
Here in the US, anyone apprehensive about international travel can start with a road trip to Canada. A ground border crossing is typically less stressful and less chaotic than in a busy airport.
Love it!!✌🎫
🤗
Well done!
Thank you!
Some of my favorite travel moments are from mistakes I have made. As someone who has traveled to 13 countries and wants to continue traveling, its the unknowingness that excites me.
Absolutely 🙌
Kara and Nate on Hot Ones would be a dream UA-cam crossover event!
Great video…more like this
So glad you enjoyed it!:)
Watching your video and all I can think of is… when is Kara getting her worldwide food blog going or Kara’s cookbook filled with her favorite recipes from the food she’s eaten around the world.
Vlog could look like meet ups with chefs or families showing them how to cook in their own culture.
You guys went to Oman and had a flat tire in the middle of of the desert- and the only reason you didn't die is because somebody stopped and made sure you got sure you got out. He was still there to make sure you got out- people are f-ing amazing when we need to- and you two have proved it.
Love it but yeah the reality of living in the UK makes this not as possible for us out here unfortunately 😅
Would love to take advantage of miles and points, but being Canadian really limits the options.
you can start accumulating miles by joining for free the airlines mileage points (like AirCanada) and simply shopping through their partners websites, a lot of them have partnerships with big brands like Amazon, Uber, UberEats, JustEat, Starbucks etc…
JUST BOOK IT 🎊
YES! 🎉
How did you guys get a hold of Richard Branson to stay there ? So cool
Let’s goo 🤙🏻
🎉😎
You want me to book an incredible experience for myself. You want to gift me like a million miles? Let's get real people. Right now I want to go to the Hyatt all-inclusive in DR for a week and that's over 400,000 miles. That's just for the resort. I still have to get there. You know how long it's going to take me to save that many miles??? Even with signup bonuses it's years. By the time I savfe that many it will probably be up to 800,000 points.
This is more fantasy than reality for anyone who isn't getting TONS of referral points through referral links.
So I think the concept you are missing is they are encouraging you to just book a trip. Yes the DR all-inclusive is out of your range, then you must start small and build up. There are a lot of clever ways to get miles and points. My strategy as of now has been focusing on points for hotels without flying somewhere. You have to be on top of point promotions that the hotels have. look at what benefits your component may offer. like my company has a partnership with Hilton and they have a match program that allows you to match that status of another hotel group you may have.
So yes saving points for one big trip may be a lot but if you look at how you spend you money daily and know where to go and save and consistently check prices and points, it is truly possible. They are really people and all of the people at the daily drop have made travel through priority and have found ways to travel to some cool places. in your chase is you are stuck on the DR (which is a very common tourist place) and not open to other locations that have the same vibe/aspects you are looking for, of course you are going to feel overwhelmed with how many points you may need. maybe instead of the Hyatt all inclusive, you look into IHGs all inclusive resorts. Maybe look at off-season prices if available. Inside of DR look into Bali or Punta Cana.
Also their daily drop emails are very informative. I take the time everyday o read it and save the articles that have/will most benefit me.
I really wish I was a person who was open to travel.
I like you guys even more now
❤️
Here's a question for everyone: What constitutes having been to a country? Think about some different scenarios:
You're driving from Germany to Italy through Austria. You didn't stop for anything, but you breathed the air and saw the scenery. Have you been to Austria?
You had a 4 hour transfer at Chopin Airport in Warsaw. You got zlotys from the ATM, you ate lunch and bought souvenirs, but you never left the airport. Have you been to Poland?
Hi!! I have vacations from 06/11/24 to 06/21/24 and nothing planned. I was sick and they had to reprint my passport due to an error. I already have my passport and I feel better but I don't know where to go. I have always wanted to go to Europe but with so little time everything is already sold out. What do you advise me to do?
is this a commercial?
It is the coolest video. I would love to travel the world but I am from India. There are no mid range credit card for real miles and points like the chase sapphire preferred in India everything here is a premium credit card and approval for credit card is a whole other issue. I love to learn about travel and be a part of daily drop could please hire me Kara, Nate and daily drop team please please !!!!
Great video. I was just reflecting on the fact that I left LAX on my first big independent international trip, to Australia, in 1984, forty years ago. I was chasing a dream of interacting with dolphins in the wild, and I got to do it! I don't think we had the points and miles programs back then that we did today so I scrimped and saved for 6 months to afford my month in Australia. I'm so glad I took that chance when I had it because it truly created memories to last my lifetime. It is true: if you can dream it, you can do it.
Love this!
It’s more difficult in Canada because we don’t have a lot of miles and points stuff
If you join AirCanada mileage plan you can start accumulating miles by shopping online, like Amazon, Uber, Starbucks etc..
Great video, but how did you guys not get Mike to come out for this?
Also,,,I really enjoy your videos...but when you had the $35,000 saved and left for a year...did you have any other expenses for which you were responsible, i.e. school bills, etc., or were you debt free?
Can you tell me if miles and points is the same from Australia?
Kara and Nate just 90 countries left
🎉✈️🌎
Respect to the Kara and Nate achievements so far 👌but look at their appearance now (so much aging) vs the day they started (beginning 22), I literally scared and wondering that are these worth for those cost?? 🤔😐
They both look their age; if not younger? They've matured for sure but to mention something like this is nothing else but rude and reeks of a little jealousy.. just book it my friend...maybe you need it.
@@staceyjaymunro2k thanks for advice back but I don't see the reason why I need to be jealous while I already mentioned don't want to bear the cost occurred.
I love this world 🫶
We do too!
What exactly is the difference between Daily drop and Faredrop? Im confused😅😅
Daily drop is a daily newsletter through email that they talk about current travel hacks and bonuses going on with airlines hotels credit cards etc. Faredrop is their other business that sends personalized airline alerts on good deals from your closest airport or whichever airport you select.
They are sister companies! Daily Drop teaches you how to earn and redeem miles and points for travel while FareDrop is a tool that can be used to save up to 80% on cash flights with deal notifications. You can set up your plan to receive only the flight deals that match your travel preferences. Thanks for the question 👍
@@DailyDrop Ahh I see, thank you for explaining!😊
First!
🎉
I love using points for hotel and resort stays! Had a bunch of chase points and transferred a good amount to Hyatt for an amazing Cancun/ playa del carmen trip! Now getting ready to use my 5 free Marriott stays and points on different trips. Washington state and Fiji 🇫🇯
Also now getting into the Hilton trifecta 🫡
Love to hear all of this! Enjoy all of those free trips 👏🤗
Sad that miles and points are just something for people in the US. How can I use this information in Europe?
I wish I had a mustache 😀
Everybody which they can be like u all not everyone have money to traveled
Wait a minute..... Wondering if some of staff is not telling the truth about all the traveling they have done just to get the job 🤔
But make sure you have a 6 month emergency fund and at least 1X your salary in an IRA before you are 30. If not, maybe don’t book it and wait until you are more finally secure.
Cries in a weak passport and weak currency. But, one day!!!
Why are the voices high-pitched?
You all said it made you more, ''open minded,'' .....give us your definition of, ''open minded.''
Kara love Nate and your videos now cute hate
Look, don’t want to be a negative person but saying the US is new and has no history is an insult to the Indigenous people that are still there. Get to know the actual history of the land on which your founder fathers stole from real people.
This all just seems like a puff piece with a lot of extremely privileged people.
Agreed - super tone deaf! They are lucky to have families they can return to broke. You also need to spend money to get miles & points. Also when you use your miles you're mostly paying a higher price than if you paid cash. Its still a good discount like buy one get one free but still that cost THOUSANDS of your own dollars.
I’ve sure learned a lot from them…. Gone on a few trips and surely enjoyed the trips! Glad they are great at sharing deals!
I think it would help if you knew the back story…
Hey- You forgot to interview me! I am JImmy and I am the guy who just unsubscribed from this waste of time.
🤷🏼♂️
@@DailyDrop😂😂😂 great answer!
Did we ask? If you unsubscribed looks like you’re the waste of time.
@dailydrop Why people gotta be like that though?
