Just seen this clip, what's with all the hate for Sarah Silverman? Some kind of jealousy maybe? I've only seen her in a few things, not recently, but she was a real cutie when she was younger, ❤
I have no idea who Sarah Silverman is, so it's so interesting to see how some viewers can be so biased when judging an actor. There was nothing wrong with this scene.
@@tedpilledtonysoprano5512 why not? niles makes fun of frasier all the time and the funs love him. it's a comedy show and her lines were written by writers, it does absolutely nothing against her that the *character she plays* makes fun of frasier. beyond that, she did a good job.
Shawn Beckett While her regular persona doesn’t fit the style of the show, she’s ok in that scene. Not only that, but Frasier would meet all kinds of people in his practice, so it’s ok to have somebody with a totally different vibe in that context ;)
Wow, the hatred for Silverman in the comments seems so random. She’s one of the precious few good women comics. Not finding her funny is fine, but why post such hateful comments about her?

Had forgotten Valerie Mahaffey as the receptionist. She was hilarious guest starring as Sandy Cooper on Wings. Frasier, Lilith, Cliff and Norm had been on Wings episodes but no characters there crossed over into Frasier. Antonio and Fay played different roles on Frasier. Wouldve been very funny to see Sandy as a patient.
I named my boat "m'lady" because of this episode! My favorite!
How the other half lives

Yes! :)

That's what happens when you date nearly every woman in Seattle.
For a guy who claims to be so unlucky in love, he sure goes on a lot of dates with a lot of beautiful women.

Frasier's receptionist was funny and adorable. I wish she'd stuck around.
She played David Hyde Pierce's wife in the TV series The Powers That Be in 1992.
She also played George's neurotic accountant girlfriend in an episode of Seinfield.
She also played a special character in Desperate Housewives. The accomplice of the main villian in one of the seasons.

Sarah Silverman is so funny... her facial expressions alone crack me up every time 😂😂
She's especially funny when she thinks construction markings on the ground are swastikas

Highborne girls say 'my lord, my lady'. Commoners say m'lord, m'lady. Tell her that next time. 😆
“Well, I’m glad we cleared that up.”
Not a huge Sarah Silverman fan but she did great here haha
That's because she only knows how to play one character, Sarah Silverman. You saw the pinnacle of that performance right here.
Just seen this clip, what's with all the hate for Sarah Silverman? Some kind of jealousy maybe? I've only seen her in a few things, not recently, but she was a real cutie when she was younger, ❤
Seriously, what made the writers think of this? 😆😆😆 Too funny
And Frasier and Niles thought it was bad when Daphne and Martin kept saying "bat mitzvah" and "Marty Party" respectively. :P
Sarah Silverman can make a simple encounter so comic! :)
nah, she's always overacting, would've been better with a different actress

Glad to see this original joke about "m'lady" which is also used in the Frasier reboot once, when Niles and Daphne's son meets a woman in a bar.
*Milady is the correct title. It's a very old term.*
Funny thing is, Frasier DID help her. Just not in the way he expected.
I don't like Sarah but this was very funny
Only because she was handed a very funny script, ma lady.
Fastest guest-star performance in the history of sit coms.

She's a comedian (kinda, she's an acquired taste) and an actress.
She went too crude for too long. Viewers are already biased against her, and making fun of Frasier doesn't do her any favors.

Hard to imagine there was a time when Sarah Silverman was tolerable.
She used to be a good actress. It’s a shame she’s insane now, but that happens over time when you’re in Hollywood, pretty much.
Ugh. Silverman.
Sarah Silverman, funny, charming and reverent; without once using the pointless vulgarity she is known for.
Have you looked into having the stick up your ass removed?
Vulgarity is never pointless
If I was Sarah I'd be sad all the time as well
A low point. Did Harvey Weinstein pull some strings to get her on the show?

Even Fraiser couldn't handle the ex of Tom Paris.
