My absolute favorite sit-com, ever. I never ever missed it when it aired and have watched reruns for years. Now watching it again here on utube i still laugh so hard i literally can't breathe. There has never been a better cast of actors who worked so well together. The timing was always perfect. Finding it here again on utube has literally given me complete happiness.
Frazier was the most intellect show ever written for TV - the cast was perfect, the writing was phenomenal , my mother loved it as much as I did , now when I see the re-runs I think of her, love you mom.

I met him. He's from Chicago and came at the hotel I worked security at. He was there to accept an award. He drove up and asked for valet parking which was full. He started to get back in his car to go find parking elsewhere. No drama or temper tantrum. I stopped him and made arrangements so he could park at the front driveway. Very nice soft spoken man.

I liked how sensible, loving and good father Martin Crane was that I never thought for a moment that they were acting. John Mahoney portrayed character wonderfully. Rest in peace John!
It is a real view of life. So many children grow up wondering "how is THAT my father/mother? I'm nothing like him/her!" The older you get, the more shared quirks reveal themselves. I wish these folks were part of my actual family, and in some small ways they actually are.
I could never really get into liking Cheers too much, but i will always love, love Fraiser. I would love to shake that showrunners hand and the whole band of writers. The cast, excellent!
My favorite was the episode Niles carried around a sack of flour, which was to be treated as if it were a real baby to test if he was ready to be a parent. He set it fire, pushed into a water fountain and ran it through with a fencing epee. Best all he kept having nightmares where the flour sack was kidnapped for ransom and the kidnappears were sending him muffins in the mail! 🤣😂😳🤣😂😳
Lucky me, where I live I can see 4 back to back broadcast episodes every weeknight. Woohoo! Or maybe in honor of the Antiques Road show/Romanov Bear clock episode, I should say "VENEER!" and then hoist a drink!😂
Yeah, that was how David Hyde Pierce got the role. It was created just for him because one of the people helping to plan the show found a picture and showed it saying "doesn't he look like a young Kelsey Grammer?" Pretty remarkable coincidence that made the show better than it would have been without him.

I think the writing in Frasier is amazing because they didn't have to dumb down the jokes for everyone (like most sitcoms do). People always comment how brilliant the writing and it's because they wrote it for smart characters. Not only that you have scenes/segments where it goes from Funny to sad to heartfelt all in 1 scene.
Frasier was some of the BEST TV of its time and holds up remarkably well after all these years. Easily one of the best spinoffs ever, and much funnier than Cheers (which was pretty great on its own).
Kelsey Grammer and company have got to be one of the greatest comedy troupes Hollywood television had to offer. Long live Frazier. They made those years well worth living for. 🙏🏼🙏🏾🙏🏿🙏🏻🙏🏽
Frasier is my sleeping pill. Every night I do some reading / watching shows and UA-cam on my iPad, then a Frasier episode that makes me sleep like.a baby
What a show this was! It's as though that everyone connected to "Frasier" was at the top of his/her game. As great as everyone was, Martin was my favorite. When he pretended to be a retired astronaut in the episode that found everyone lying, his comment about driving the moon crane into the Sea of Tranquility was my all time favorite. His delivery was genius. John Mahoney, you'll not be forgotten.
Somewhere I was reading complaints about that episode, especially Daphne's former beau's accent. I just decided not to let them rain on my parade. When I think about Frasier episodes that cracked me up, the first two I think of are that one and the caviar escapade.

I'm sure you're aware of this, but the Frasier reboot is set to premiere on Paramount on October. With so many of the original cast not appearing in the new Frasier, I'm not sure I'll like the new version but I'll certainly give it a chance.

That was literally the first scene of this show I ever saw. I majored in translation studies and one of my professors showed it to us in class. Made me laugh with tears in my eyes and watch the rest of the series.
I just rewatched the entire series again, what a classic, I loved watching Fraiser when it came out in the 90's, and I had to own the box set. I still laugh out loud, I just love all the characters...such a talent and may John Mahoney RIP, ....😍🥰💞
It always amazes me how much they can pack into a single episode without it appearing too fast or squeezed. The writing is just great and the timing of all the actors is superb. My personal favourite is the "schnauzer" episode...it reminds me of many embarrassing, but funny, situations I have seen over the years.
That episode was my favorite too! Also, “The Placeholder”, “The Ann Who Came To Dinner”, “Radio Wars”, “The Doctor is Out” with Patrick Stewart, and “The Show Must Go Off” we’re hilarious. Some of my favorites, but all were great!

Frasier is one of those shows that is timeless. All of the characters in this show were incredible particularly Frasier, Niles,Ross,Daphne and Marty Crane. Kudos to the producers and actors for making for what is my opinion a genuinely great tv series.

I saw one of my favourite scenes this morning. Gil Chesterton and Marty were talking at the halloween party and Marty asked Gil who he’d come as. Gil says “I’m the last of the Mohicans” and Marty’s reply had me roaring with laughter when he said “well, that clears up that mystery!” 😂😂😂😂😂

I actually send people I know UA-cam clips of Frasier to cheer them up some days. Just sent my sister the classic "Buttons and Bows" clip the other day. Every one needs a laugh these days.
This is the reason I’m a Seattle sports fan (I’m from the U.K.), my mum used to watch it all the time. With Marty mentioning the sonics/hawks/Mariners I became a fan.
Whoever was responsible for putting this cast together is a Genius. . . . including Eddie and all the guests. Add that to the best comedic script writing and you get the answer to . . . "How has this show stayed so relevant and entertaining for so long?" If it wasn't for Smart Phone technology . . . you wouldn't know it's not a current sitcom.
I've never thought of Frasier as a collection of exceptional scenes, but rather one or more brilliant moments or exchanges such as Oh you are so that other one! or That'll be $2.95! Definitely have a host of favorite episodes. For instance, The Dinner Party and when Frasier wrote his own jingle. So many greats.

This was clearly one of the best shows ever put on television. This was the perfect cast.
I got to live in suspense as Niles and Daphne took 7 effin years to fall in love before our very tear filled eyes.

Yes, that one's become Pavlovian to me. Every time I think of the simple line "we've got a couple of schnauzers", I break out laughing.

I laughed so hard at these clips , the chair hitting the floor almost floored me . Such a funny series , how did anybody hit the dislike button .

This is the reason I’m a Seattle sports fan (I’m from the U.K.), my mum used to watch it all the time. With Marty mentioning the sonics/hawks/Mariners I became a fan.

Whoever was responsible for putting this cast together is a Genius. . . . including Eddie and all the guests. Add that to the best comedic script writing and you get the answer to . . . "How has this show stayed so relevant and entertaining for so long?" If it wasn't for Smart Phone technology . . . you wouldn't know it's not a current sitcom.

I've never thought of Frasier as a collection of exceptional scenes, but rather one or more brilliant moments or exchanges such as Oh you are so that other one! or That'll be $2.95! Definitely have a host of favorite episodes. For instance, The Dinner Party and when Frasier wrote his own jingle. So many greats.
