How were the points imported? When creating the new traverse, you stated that Civil 3d knows what the stations are because of the way your data was collected and imported. How was that done?
I'm having a problem with trav analysis. Explain how the trav properties work. I followed your video but still having errors. I understand initial station (#202-Original Cntrl&occupied) I get Initial Backsight (#201-Original Cntrl&occupiedl) Explain stations to me?....all the occupying pts of trav? (1000-1013) Explain Final Foresight?...the final foresight is pt#1014(field stored)...original is #202 1000-1012= set pts 1013=201 1014=202 Now using final forsight as 1014, I get "unable to calculate traverse closure" using final forsight as 202, I get "..cant balance, doesnt close, not enough info" or something like that.

You import a fieldbook file. (*.fbk) It is sort of like a RAW file that has the OCC, BS and FS stations and shots in the file.
