- Foreigner in Indian village. In 2017 I visited a small gypsy village in the dry desert of Rajasthan while traveling in India as a foreigner tourist. It was one of the most humbling moments during my travels. When I got the opportunity to return to Indian village life again for a project I was absolutely over joyed. There is something special about rural life and it's a stark contrast with the incredibly busy crowded life that most foreigner tourists experience in India. I hope this video gives a different perspective and you enjoy experiencing Indian village life with me as a foreigner.

Q (Why) Are you vegetarian?
A I'm vegetarian but not strict. I don't eat any meat, fish, cooked/boiled or fried eggs. I gradually became a vegetarian over the course of 15 years because I disliked the taste of meat more and more. After doing a yoga teacher training in 2015 I also quit fish and the eggs. No matter my food preferences I have no issues with other people not being vegetarian. I don't judge others and kind of expect the same favor from others concerning my own food preferences. It makes for a more friendly world :-)
Q Why do you usually travel alone?
A Because my friends have jobs with limited holidays, kids and partners. Also I really like exploring on my own.

I remember the very first video of this channel, i watched was Ivana crying cuz of the villagers and how they lived or because of a camel lols but Ivana, you are an inspiration despite of the negative things people say about India. I am originally from the Philippines but will be arriving to India for a big fat wedding around Surat and will spend a day in New Dehli so hopefully i'll be seeing you around and if we do popped into each other you'll be one of my first fave UA-camrs! :-) I'm really excited to travel and it'll be my very first time out of the country, I did hear the air pollution is worse on some places especially Delhi but i came prepared I just hope it won't interfere with my trip there, i can't wait to do some shopping, eating and meeting friendly people and places of India! I'm so glad you got to see Mother India's good side (the rural side. If you thought most Indians are nice people before, you should have it confirmed double now. Just think, you are seeing life, with minor changes, lived as it has been lived for the last several thousands of years.
Great job! Love your sense of humor in the little on screen comments. You will continue to fall in love with India as you visit the rural areas. I miss the morning smells of villages - cooking fires started using dried cow patties as tinder, morning tea being boiled, the smell of ghee in the air from the cooking, the chittering chattering arguments between wild parrots and crows, the sounds of cowbells (More cowbells!!)... Home. :)

Naushad was also the music composer of Mughal E Azam and I love a Bhajan in the film called Mohe Panghat Pe Nandlal.
There is another film called Ganga Jamuna where Naushad is the music composer with Dilip Kumar and I love the Bhojpuri song in that film called Nain Ladjaiwe.
