Major Lorne being iconic

- Major Lorne is a character from a show called stargate Atlantis, hes a soldier (2nd in command to colonel shepard) from season 2-5 and never dies :) (unlike all my other favorite characters). Hes quite a background character. Not much is known about him but he has a sister with 2 kids and his mom was an art teacher so he also likes to paint. I feel like he is pretty underrated so I made this! There is now a part 2!!

It's catagotized as a military-science fiction series, so there's that in it's defense. Through, personally, I enjoy the science bit a bit more.
It reads to me like science people self-mocking, really.
Speaking as an only child whose BOTH parents are university lecturers/researchers with multiple published scientific papers in their names.....I think they nailed the characterizations of the scientists down.
I'm so sad that he got so few episodes... I'd've watched a whole show just about him

I think it must have been when the Daedalus arrived on series 2 episode 2 as they brought more personnel to Atlantis and colonel Shepard was a major like him in series one so it must’ve been at the beginning of series 2 sometime, hope that helped!

1 thing i never get about this show. is they never have emergency crews on standby. u got people out on other worlds. ofc potential dangerous situation at any moment. 0 readyness............ someone doesnt check in. lets not rush it......... give them hours. then maybe we get a handful of people ready to go look around......... like wtf? how are u all not dead yet? embarrasing.
I love Colonel Young a lot but I really do wish he was in charge of The Destiny or was on SGU

Might've had a hard time getting prop stingers or other guided missiles with the war going on at the time. I heard something similar in sg1 with finding blanks so they used different guns.
Look, the Stargate props department kinda just went for cool + cheap over accurate. You just gotta roll with it 😂

Watching Alantis again. Unfortunately it's only on Hulu. Atlantis is one of my favorite shows.
They sold a digital package of every stargate episode and movie a number of years ago for something like $15 or $30. Unfortunately, I didn't have a lot of spare money at the time, and wasn't sure how to go out and purchase it.

I don't remember anything specific, but was definitely watching for anything from either of his SG1 episodes.
That game episode is dumb. There both rite there they can see what the other one is doing, why the fighting? With Rodney I can see cus he's an ass and does stuff rite in front of someone. But then the some one could do the same rite back.

@@TheFaceOfWhoDWTSG It's a great show and on Amazon Prime. Deputy Andy doesn't come in until the later seasons and someone else played the role as Sheriff Andy for one episode. I just started re-watching the series for the third time.
