WW2 Flashlight WIF Signal Restoration

  • I bought this World War II German / Austrian Flashlight on a Fleamarket.
    The model is WIF Signal 1136. The WIF Signal flashlight was made in Austria in 1938 and widely used by the Wehrmacht/Luftwaffe. The flashlight is having a red and a green color filter.
    If you have any questions about the process, machines i'm using or other stuff, just ask me in the comments. I read them all and i try to reply as soon as possible.

    i just got the exact same flashlight I want to restore. What kind of battery did you use and how does it connect? Any info would be great. Loved your video

      They used a 4.5V battery. You can see how to connect it to the flashlight on UA-cam !
