Antique Blowtorch Restoration
This time I am restoring an old torch that was used for soldering in the past. I got it from an old grandpa who sold it online. He said he found it while cleaning up his attic and it was a great restoration and I had a lot of fun. Unfortunately i couldn't get the dents out of the burner because i would have to cut the container open because it was not possible to open the container

Das ist eine marokkanische "koummya", und man trägt sie an einer langen Kordel über die Schulter. Diese kurzen Lederriemchen sind hier ebenso unpassend wie die türkische Belagerung Wiens 😁

That is a (khinjar or jambiya) Moorish dagger from Morocco. The two rings on the side are used for the string that allows a person to wear it. It goes from the shoulder to the waist and was worn by the cavaliers. The sword on one side and the dagger on the other side. It is still worn today by the horse riders in Morocco when performing Fantasia, which is a cultural heritage simulating an attack performed by a group of warriors on horses. Look up fantasia Morocco. Great restoration btw!

This is a moroccan dagger, that's right. But it is called "koummya". A "kinjar" is russian/caucasian, and a "jambiya" is saudi or yemenite...

Well your wrong, its called a Koummya. And it was mainly used by bedouins when travelling so they could cut ropes and slaughter animals. And be unsheathing it, nothing happens. I am moroccan and we don't care if its sheathed or not. To respect your culture. Its a knife. Chill.
