- In this video we continue where i left off with the restoration of the BMW E30 in part one. This is where things get exciting because you guys will finally get to see the final result and spoiler... it looks great!!! After working on this car's interior for over 80+ hours, and wanting to quit over and over again, it was all worth it. Would I do it all over again? Probably not, but the experience was definitely very rewarding!

I feel your pain man. I have to either replace my seats (more than likely the route I'm going to go), or pull apart the driver's seat to fix the inner gear assembly because it doesn't lock.

I find that if I don't take step by step reference pictures for myself on projects like your seats, I'll forget how things were done if time passes between working on them. Great content. Really good work Bro....I'm switching my 91 325i interior from tan cloth to grey leather like yours....I painted my door handles and storage box stain black ..they look brand new...used Dupi-color vinyl spray paint. the black and grey really look good.

He bought it for 3k, I saw before some of them at a cost of 80k. He is lucky to have that car and to do those changes.

the one that cost around 80k is an e30 M3 but this is a 325is. Although they look near identical they are completely different cars but yeah even regular e30s are going up in value and his dedication will pay off after he finished the project. The car will be worth a lot more after everything is finished.
Kamikaze e30 you are right, talking about value going up: I was looking for a Ford bronco which before they cost less than 5k, out of nowhere yesterday I saw many of them at a cost of 20k+ dollars. Broncos are up in value too

Looks really good!! Pretty sure the bad rail is from a sedan. They don’t need to fold all the way forward to allow access to the rear seat so the brackets don’t need to be that big.
Bro you can paint the door cards and all the center console stuff and ash tray etc. I’m in Orlando with an e30 and some connects, but you can’t even tell when you paint them. They look new

I've been looking for a set but not winning... No one is willing to import to SA... Would really appreciate your help...

just redoing my e30 seats aswell and what a pain in the ass. i barely almost have passenger side and just like you i took it apart awhile back ago. now i just need my driver side, only thing is i work on for like 20 mins here and there. btw the back part of the seats is a pain in the ass to glue.

i think we spoiled out here in california..... because you could get a decent, no rust, damn near mint condition e30 for $3K-$7K lol

The interior definitely looks 💯% better than before. Is it perfect, no, but it really doesn’t matter what anyone thinks as long as you are satisfied with the finished product. Overall I think 🤔 you’ve done a fantastic job, especially with it being your first interior build. Great job 👍🏾
