Thanks Yuka! PS, Yuka doesn't brag about herself much her, but she caught on to the whole wheelbuilding thing faster than pretty much anyone else we've met!
@NOBL Wheels Hey guys! I have a question. I pretty much build the wheels the other way. For front wheel i start from the left side, and for the rear ones, I start with the right side (because these are the sides with the higher torque, tension, or whatever) For the front wheels, my key spoke is on the left, but I twist the hub towards me, while it looked like, that you twisted the hub against you. And for the rear wheels, I twist the hub against me (just grab and twist the freewheel, to the side that it engages) The spokes at the valve are never crossed, they are just twisted the other way. Is it wrong that way, or there is no difference to which side inner or outer spokes from the left will be twisted to
Thank you Trevor and Yuka. This is the most comprehensive explanation of the 'why' wheels are built the way they are. I understand the process now, and can clearly see how to build my own wheels.
Great video. I knew wheel building was fairly complicated, but watching your vid makes me think that it requires even more patience than I previously thought. It's money well spent having someone else do it for you. :-)
Chris Kings hubs are premium price and performance 👍🏽 but whats more complex than a wheel build?? This Video edit. It took so much work and came out great. Nice Yuka, -Sam
trevor is a great teacher. this video is very interesting. thanks yuka. good job on building your own wheel and ..... um no comment on rolling into the tree at the end of the video lol.
Great video, Yuka! Trevor really knows how to build wheels. It was interesting to know the "why" in terms of the methodology. Well done in building your first wheel!
Better for a professional to do it... Cause if you don't know what to do, you will end up with a pretzel shaped wheel lol, I know I would, but I must try and true my DT swiss Roval wheels at home to see if I can conquer this task!!! Great video :-) :-) :-) :-)
Well done young lady I'm not mechanically minded enough for wheel building (no patients) i managed to put a new casset on my new wheels the other day which is an achievement for me so watching you do this in ore 👏💪👍
Suspension shim tuning and wheel building is two things I leave for the pros. Thanks for that great vid Yuka, Noble wheels are definitely on the list for my next wheelset.
Great video! Which editing software did you use? Is it the same as the previous ten videos? You did a great job explaining it. This was my first time watching a wheel build video.
This is very interesting when I build my wheels tensioning the spokes I will tighten opposite sides, it saves you some time trying to get eggs out of the wheel.
This is why I leave wheel builds to my LBS. My brain hurts from watching this. You need to be a mechanical engineer to build these. I need a double Scotch Whiskey now 🥃🥃
Thanks Yuka!
PS, Yuka doesn't brag about herself much her, but she caught on to the whole wheelbuilding thing faster than pretty much anyone else we've met!
A future employee here👍 Now I understand wheel building better and what to do more than before!!

@@VanGirlYuka what do you do as a job if I may ask?
@@VanGirlYuka hi. How have the rims held up? I'm waiting for my set to come in
@NOBLWheels I love the wheel building process. Trevor's analogies are excellent. Learned a lot, especially about the braking forces. Very interesting.
The song that starts 3:00 is the swedish national anthem! A few bars.
Fascinating!!! I will NEVER take my wheels for granted again - Very cool!
Great content!
Yea that's a lot of tedious work

Great job, Yuka! This was really fascinating, thanks! 😁
I had no idea that so much went into building a wheel. Great video, I am sure I am going to be coming back to it when I try to build my own one day.
you're one lucky girl Yuka, to have the president of the company to teach you. That work is no joke. Its like skill and art meld into 1 product.
Great. Just ordered a wheelset from NOBL. Looking fwd to it.
Nice wheels and vid,
That was super interesting, have never had it explained like that from seecting the rim and hub to final lace up and tensions.
Chris Kings hubs are premium price and performance 👍🏽 but whats more complex than a wheel build?? This Video edit. It took so much work and came out great. Nice Yuka,

i like NOBL wheels, amazing job yuka!!
I learned alot today by watching your vids thank you yuka
Actually learned a bit about wheels/wheel building from this Yuka, great video and nice looking product @ Nobl!
Nicely put together, both the wheels and the video!
Wow this is why I leave wheel building to my trusted mechanic haha 🤘😆🤘
It's like Ikebana for bikes! 👍
patience !, I do believe it could work, not only 8 hours straight up more arming those wheels. I like that
trevor is a great teacher. this video is very interesting. thanks yuka. good job on building your own wheel and ..... um no comment on rolling into the tree at the end of the video lol.
This is a good video for wheel building thank you!
Great video, Yuka! Trevor really knows how to build wheels. It was interesting to know the "why" in terms of the methodology. Well done in building your first wheel!
Agree. I was impressed with Trevor's explanations.
Me too. He was very preprint and happy to answer all my questions 👍
Bravo 👌 Yuka 😉 Spot on job building your own Wheel 🚴 great job love the new Nobl 🤘 wheels So Cool 😎🤘👍🏴🏴👍
This was a very cool video to watch, thanks for sharing! Shout out to NOBL 🤘😎
Wau, this was very educative and nice edited. Good job Yuka :D
You are a gem for girl youtube MTB scene
Great video Yuka!
really very nice, only you can start a video by eating 🤣

check out the sheldon brown website. if you follow the steps you can build a wheel easy.
I didn’t know this was Yuka till the end of the vid ... good job 👍
Interesting video a👊🏽👏🏽
sister yuka . It is difficult to build wheel.I find out.sister.
Yuka funny and nice music too!
Well done young lady I'm not mechanically minded enough for wheel building (no patients) i managed to put a new casset on my new wheels the other day which is an achievement for me so watching you do this in ore 👏💪👍
Subscription earned! Thank you for the excellent video!
Thank you for playing the Swedish national anthem! :)
Yeah! I was like "wait .. is it? ... yes it is!" A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one!
Good video! 😀
Asymmetric and wheel in the same sentence bends reality.
Thanks you Yuka.. I really want to learn about making wheel. High five..
Suspension shim tuning and wheel building is two things I leave for the pros. Thanks for that great vid Yuka, Noble wheels are definitely on the list for my next wheelset.
Wow wheel building is challenging!!!
Very informative thank you
Wow 😯 awesome video great job 👍😊🙏🚵♀️
sweet!
Wheels can be complicated to build, but it really depends on the hubs you use.
Very nice!
Looks complicated haha!! Great vid!!🤙🤙
Awesome Yuka
Very interesting video. Thank you for making it!
Wheel building is fun. I do think I need a better dishing gauge than one made from cardboard, and an old spoke....
Cardboard 😂 how does it feel like to ride the wheels you made?
Great video! Which editing software did you use? Is it the same as the previous ten videos? You did a great job explaining it. This was my first time watching a wheel build video.
I always use davinci resolve! Thank you Joshua😁❤️
That's cool!!
This is very interesting when I build my wheels tensioning the spokes I will tighten opposite sides, it saves you some time trying to get eggs out of the wheel.
MVDH cameo!
You beat me to it! "I know that guy!"
Wow, I just checked my bike's front wheel. Damn.
In arm wrestling closer and tighter is better Bad analogy other than that this was a great tutorial thank you. Oh yea those rims are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That was awesome 🤙🏻
So these Rims are basically Light Bicycle AM727 Recon Pro Rims :-D
Why are you plaing the Swedish national anthem when you start inserting the first spoke. Thanks from Seden by the the way?
Nice! Seems complicated.
I love your accent
How is it going with the new wheels?
Wow this guy really knows his trade 💪💪👍
built my first wheel last season.....nothing easy about building a wheel,
This is why I leave wheel builds to my LBS. My brain hurts from watching this. You need to be a mechanical engineer to build these. I need a double Scotch Whiskey now 🥃🥃
I'm a mechanical engineer and my head hurts from watching this too lol
It’s hard watching this knowing that you two are no more 😢😢😢
I am your hero XD
From the jump Ive always planned on buying Nobl wheels when Im ready. And I think the TR41s are calling my name.
Thats why real mountain mountain bikes are expensive . I am sure they dont do the same thing on a Walmart bike
This video gave me a little anxiety. 😅
So complicated.
Wow what a lot of tedious work
I wouldn't even try!
That is soooooo true wheels are complex I'd have to say matching up all the components is one of the major hurdles
First thing we teach our children is not to speak with the mouth full. You do it in the first seconds of the video.
Awesome job! Rear hub sound check, Yuka! 👍👍
And thats why I dont do wheels!
I want to like you and you’re channel, but I’m afraid I’ll get coronaviris
I should be clean...🙄well...
I love your accent
