- Let's take a dive into the Country Lanes block! This block has a simple construction that makes it friendly for fat quarters, layer cakes, and charm squares! We will also talk about chain piecing and the importance of seam allowance accuracy.
I loved this fun block so much, I made an entire quilt from it using the same layer cake size I make in the video but you can make a really fast quilt from one of the larger sizes.

Yes, please, a sampler with all different sizes of blocks...fun, fun!
Yes! A video for piecing different sized blocks would be wonderful! That would be a good idea for putting together blocks from projects or UFOs and combine them into something finished! Thanks for all you do! 💙
Missing your work, so I am rewatching. Take care.
Yes, please put the different sizes together👏🏻👏🏻
Block study! I saved this so that I could watch this in peace!
The Irish Chain pattern and all its variations are more than pretty. Their simplicity and movement resonate.
Yes, please do a video on combining blocks of different sizes in a quilt.
I would love to see how you approach piecing different sized blocks. This was a great reminder video re seam allowance consistency. Thank you. 😊👍💕

Would love to see how to assemble multiple size blocks together into a quilt. The ultimate scrappy look!
I would love to see your approach on multi sized blocks! You are inspirational.
I’d love to see a video of you working out how to join different sizes of the same block.
Regarding consistent seam allowances, I struggled for a long time to work out why my quilt blocks didn’t all turn out the correct size even though I was using my quarter inch foot. I now know that even when using the quarter inch foot, I need to move my needle position over to the right just slightly. This now gives me a true ‘scant’ quarter inch seam so that when it is pressed open, my seams measure an exact quarter inch.
Yes, yes. Yes , please to block series!
Hi Peggy, how are you doing?
Of course I'd like to see a video on putting together the various block study blocks.

Yes! I have so many random blocks that would look cool in a quilt together!
I have always been intimidated by this block. Your instructions are so clear. I am going to watch your video on the seam test and then I am going for it. Thank you. I am self taught so I watch all of your videos because they are never confusing.
Sure thing, I’ll be watching anything that your willing to share. Love the Irish chain quilts along with many others. Thanks for sharing your talents 👍❤️😊
Yes, yes, yes! Please put together a video to show how to put all of that together. I have so many blocks from quilts I've finished and eventually I just want to put them together for a "memory" type quilt. Nothing will match but it will show all of the quilts I've done over the years.
Hi Janine, how are you doing?
Yes please! Enjoy seeing how quilt blocks are put together to make a quilt! 😊
Yes please! I would love to see how you put them together!
I love the block study series! But I'd also like to add that ever since you did the video on the 1/4" seam test, I've used it over and over. It works so well and It's such a big help to me, really improving my consistency.
Yes please!! I have tons of orphan and wonky sized blocks begging me for a home!!

I want every video you could think of! I appreciate so much the way you teach! I'd love a tutorial on how to pin to have a better accuracy in piecing. Every time I pin, I feel like it's the pinning that shift my fabric and distord my piecing. (English is not mt first language so I hope you can understand what I'm saying!)
Yes I would like to see more! Love your videos 💖

Always enjoy your teaching!!! Yes I would greatly benefit from watching how to piece these quilt blocks.
I would also like to see how you put various size blocks together. By the way that is a beautiful quit .
Would love to see how you put blocks of different sizes together.
I love how you teach! You are a joy to watch with your happy demeanor & your voice is nice & pleasant.
I also really appreciate you talking about doing a seam test & your example of why it’s important. As a newish quilter - new to sewing actually not just quilting, I so struggle with a consistent 1\4” seam. In the past I have thought I just tend to make a “fat” 1\4” seam & so I move my needle over one & then start piecing & I would be just as frustrated because my block still didn’t measure correctly! Duh! No more slacking on the seam test for me anymore. That was amazing. Thanks. Do you always press your seams open? Also, do you think your Judi seam guide is a universal fit? I love how sturdy it looks but I have a Babylock.
Thanks!
And, yes, please do a video on putting all the different blocks together.
Yes, I'd certainly like to see how you'd put together a quilt with differently sized blocks.
I'd love to see how you assemble the different sized blocks. I love the Cotton and Steel fabric! It's hard for me to find. I don't know why. I guess I'm not looking in the right place. I need to stock up on their gorgeous line.
Yes please!
Just found you as a new quilter after making bags & garments without a lot of time to sew. Thank you Megan for making all of this so easy to understand & making it look achievable! I have a lot of precuts & would love to try this one. Your videos are all great!
Hi Tamara, how are you doing?
Yes 🙌 very cool! Thank you.
Hi Michelle, how are you doing?
Thank you so very much for showing the difference a small error in seam allowance can make. I can't tell you how many times I've had to explain to newish quilters that 'just being consistent' won't work if you have to piece together a lot of units, especially ones that vary in cut size. Your demonstration illustrates beautifully what can go wrong.
Hi Teresa, how are you doing?
i would love to see that! thank you
Please do the video on piecing different size blocks 😊

I would love to see how you put together a sampler quilt with different sized blocks. I have about 30 blocks from different quilts I have made and they are all different and I only have 1 or maybe 2 of each one and I have no idea what to do with them but I cannot throw them away.
