Updates for the map:
-Added Blood Punch Upgrades.
-Added pickups in final arena.
-Fixed clipping in some areas.
-Made it impossible to climb on top of wall climb coffin in traversal area.
-Made the clipping easier for Marauders to go around in the final arena.
I really enjoy these kinds of maps. Full on campaign styled levels are just such a treat. Great job iW1CKED.
1. You can try this mod on Steam by patching to the opt-in beta.
2. Right click Doom Eternal in your library, click properties, betas, and then next to beta participation, click none then set it to pc-mod-preview and download it.
3. Once downloaded, launch Doom Eternal and click Mods at the top. Go download whatever mods you want.
4. Click Play Mods on the left side bar. Drag and drop the mods you want to use from Installed Mods to Active Mods
5. At the top right, click Play DOOM Eternal with mods, if that doesn't work you probably have a broken mod or some mod conflict.

Is perfect every simple detail
Wasnt the Prime map only like a week ago? Like damn the improvement. This map is already peak with just the visuals. Map geo looks like it actually got some art passes to make it look like an actual place with depth/dimension and not just boxes with textures. Its still assets from the campaign but its used very distinctly. Thought it'd be a little longer until we had more proper maps but we have it now and it looks great. There's some goofiness with the encounter triggers and pacing early on but that's already something the base game had so its not the mod's fault.
Major props for Wicked. This map is sweeeet.

Your play style absolutely rules, man. So satisfying to see those non meta mods being put to use. The map looks pretty fun as well, maybe some more maykr drones here and there to aid the ammo economy, since there are so many enemies in the arenas, the ammo pool just evaporates so quickly. Otherwise, great job to the mapmaker

@@Koipit Me too. This alone has propelled Eternal to status of "Favorite Shooter of All Time" for me.
@@fojisan2398 yup same here. For a while I was worried I'd have to revoke that title purely because games like ultrakill were getting full on level editors, but now Eternal can join the party of custom maps too and it feels so good.

First of all I think this is really a step up from Prime.
I like the first couple arenas. Each had it's own thing going and it was really fun, but the last one should've been either a bit shorter or have another checkpoint or/and an escalation encounter for the last two to three waves. The second possessed marauder felt a bit repetitive after we already got one before in this level.
I don't like that you only have one blood punch in this mod. Feels weird. Sure, it makes you hold back on it and think twice about when you use it, but I think you should communicate it then bc I only found out afterwards and was like "oh, that's why I felt like I was constantly out of blood punches!".
Overall I like it much better than his last mod, hope he continues to make better and better mods.
Yeah for sure. It something the mod page would benefit from saying from the description as a list of changes to the slayers arsenal and upgrades rather than you finding out in the map because some people like to play without the hud and for those people especially it can feel a bit confusing. Also the runes except the air control rune don't seem to be working properly like when I have equipment fiend I still feel like it's taking forever for the chainsaw pip to charge up and the circle around the enemies that indicates they are in 'dazed and confused' state doesn't appear so that feels like a bug for sure.
@@Lenias7 definitely a huge step up. Personally I'm mixed on the marauder, I even discussed it with him. First playthrough I was like "this guy again?" But then on a second playthrough I found myself not minding nearly as much. Also yeah i missed my full charge heavy gk blood punch but also don't mind the change tbh. Have to be more conservative with it.
@@no_name_magician that's so weird regarding dazed and confused. The runes can definitely be slightly wacky and I have no idea why.

i hope we get custom demons soon, like the 2016 Spider Mastermind and Minos Prime.

@@ArchRevival congrats on the PC. You can check my DOOM Eternal playlist. I've uploaded almost every custom map so far. If you want maps that flow like a normal campaign level, I recommend levitation, Infernum, hellfire cavern, forgotten Forest, umbral excavation, prime (I'm probably missing some but these are the maps I remember off the top of my head) and if you want more just raw arena gameplay there are some good options in there too like niflheim Pass, precipice, lost titan, etc. there are also probably some options here I just can't remember rn

Hey, a question, im dowloading this mod but it is in 37% and it isnt continuening dowloading, its a bug or what happenned? How i can fix it?
@@HeyBroMan856 I've had that bug. Close the mod portal completely and download again. It should go past 37% but might get stuck again, then you just repeat that process. Kind of an annoying work around but it works. Let's just hope the mod lets you play after the install, bc I had a problem once with that bug where it didn't even let me play the map after I did all of that, but I had another time where it was completely fine.

I feel like the music doesn't fit this map, meathook would've fit it alot more, and from when i played, the ai pathfinding seemed off, especially the final arena, and the possessed marauder fight. The encounter's pacing felt off, and some felt boring.
@@piececlown1515 Fair enough. Perhaps there will be a version without the final marauder, personally idm, I only found it an odd choice on my first playthrough, but on repeats it did not bother me.
@@Koipit I don't mind the final marauder, the way the combat encounters are set up didn't feel fun to me. But oh well, the doom eternal modding scene is still new.
