Fully waterproof is an understatement. I took one so far under water the bed of the truck was full of water!!! :) a good oiling afterwards and it still runs fine
I was just looking at this rc on amain website about an hour ago, thinking I might pick one up. My job restarts Jan 5th after the most recent lockdown so if all goes well I might be able to get one end of February after I get caught up on a couple bills.
I have a 5 year old nephew that's getting into RC with a couple of toy grade cars. I went to the local hobby shop and picked up an SCX24 which absolutely bullies the larger toy grade cars. Needless to say my mini crawler was a hit with my nephew so I decided to buy a second truck so we both could run at the same time. Purchased a CR-24 with the yellow Defender body (actually earth tone) from Asiantees on a Black Friday special. Great truck and hangs with the SCX24 even with smaller tires and run time with a stock truck is ridiculous. Absolute blast to drive and perfect for kids to get into RC.
from what my eyes show me in this video it's very jumpy, either full blast or not moving at all, I see no feathering no modulation of the motor whatsoever & that's why I'd pass... 👍🏼 & the minimal difference in money for an scx24 with all the support upgrades & accessories, is another reason I'd go that way. The 1/24 deadbolt is $107 dollars w/2 day delivery on Amazon @ time of this writing , great deal.... 👍🏼
@@DriftomaniacsRC Great! I really look forward to see this video!! I am really wondering if it is capable to do slow crawling. Someone told me it needs to be upgrade with ,,dc reduction motor" to do that... :-(
@@wills8619 it should come with some charge in it already, but, I'd say up to a couple of hours. But I've had 35 to 45 minutes of run time. There are the Indicator lights on the charger also.
Nah, SCX24 is best on the market currently. Love the CR24 and how cheap it can be bought for from places like asia tees. I've seen it for $58. Think I paid $65.
@@gavinreece5144 for me it’s one of my favorite mini crawlers for sure. So many upgrades for it👊👊👍👍 Richie are you on buddy???? Still haven’t heat anything from you. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
two tiny little pinewood derby car weights, they come on strips of sticky back plastic, ideal for when you need to add weight (but only a small amount! No point in frying that motor by doubling the cars weight! :-)
And I care about not catching covid or giving it to you or to anyone else if I did get it, to 99% of people that's all that matters. When you've had a friend pass away aged just 35 then maybe you'll think differently as well. This channels about RC not politics, but I think of my family and friends first. It's not about the constitution it's about survival to me and many others at least. Hope that makes sense.

Lift the rear body mounts. Makes the travel of suspension look more extreme. Also, the rgt adventurer v2 body fits.

Dennis good to hear on the job front, my thoughts are with you.
Thank you so much,I hope you and your family had a great Christmas and I hope you all have a great new year
nice little rc crawler, i hope i can get 1 for my self
Does the SCX24 upgrades fit on this? Tires? Rims? Servo? Shocks ?
Nice review, it looks alot like a Suzuki Jimny from the front.

I was about to buy one but then I saw that the website said that they can’t ship the battery into Canada, what should I do?
Looks good Rich.👍👍
It was!
Stock wheels? Wow, that 48 degree was impressive. How did you add weight to the front? US Quarter? magnets? Repositioned the battery?
Literally just got mine. Battery charging now. Watching this happens until I can take it out of a good first run.
This looks the most similar to the axial SCX24. You think the parts would fit wells on a deadbolt?

Yeah im gonna snag a couple i really am enjoying my panada hobby 1/18 crawler more of a trail truck but still does good
Hi, is it possible to perform slow crawling with this one? How slow it can go? Thx
it will go forwards mm by mm, I have a video coming up shortly that's going to feature 3 small crawlers, this being one of them

I still like this rig. Hobby Plus did well. I'm still running it standard.
How long to charge strait out of the box mate ?

Do you have the HBX Devastator to compare it to?
I have one of these. Just got the rig in the review. I'm going to test the cr24 in a few minutes against it.
@@BrendonakaShanks Oh, you have both crawlers? I’ll check your channel ;)
@@The_RC_Dude i honestly don't have anything more on my channel than a quick run with a wpl c24 and a hobby plus c24. Just quick runs.
How long does the battery last?
Awesome little crawler
I have a imex 1/24 crawler and they’re great
I just picked up 9 Axial scx24s. I hope after watching this I don’t feel like I made the wrong move. 😬😬😬. Let’s see

Any accessories for this?
For $90, its a a sweet buy no doubt. What did you use for weights on that, when you were checking the incline angle?
