    Dude, you with the Pig was epic! Something to expect from every red blooded man. Thanks for the laughs. 😅

      Happy to do it 😁. And when I see a fiberglass animal just standing around like that I just can’t help myself. But I have the mentality of a 12 year old so that helps justify my actions 😁

    Takes me back 20 years when I lived there and did boat work. LMAO when you mentioned being too good looking for jail.
    Watching from New Zealand👍

    We vacationed in SXM for years around 2-3 times a year. So good to see some of our haunts and some new ones. Old age has stopped the travel but not the memories.

      Thanks for the comment. St Martin is really an amazing place and we absolutely loved it there. Of course we also gained a little weight from all of the amazing food but that’s totally worth it 😁

    The island actually has recovered alot! I’ve been the last two years and it is looking so cleaned up and beautiful!

      Very true. There is still some work to be done but we agree that it has come a long way. Thanks for the comment.

    Thx for bringing back some great memories (used to go to SXM for many years prior to Irma). It's very sad that the island still hasn't really recovered. Marigot harbor used to be full and bustling most nights. I hope you were able to get up to Anguilla. It can be considered expensive to sail up there but it has some nice boat-accessible beaches (worth it IMO). Happy and safe sails! Thx for the videos!

      Glad we could bring back some great memories! We did get up to Anguilla but didn’t take much video since we were hanging out with my sister in a really swanky resort where she was staying. It is amazing up there too. Fantastic restaurants as well. Thanks for the comment!

    OK, The Pig had me rolling on the floor! We plan on heading there next February from the BVI. Great info, very helpful.

      Well I’m not sure the pig totally enjoyed but I thinks that’s only because I wasn’t French. 😁 St Martin is a great island, just pick a decent weather window and plow through. Also Much easier and cheaper to check in to the country on the French side. Let us know if you have any questions, we’d be happy to help.

    I remember going on that teacup ride with you and two precious little munchkins! Thank goodness you weren’t sick that time, 😳😬😩 but if I remember properly we didn’t spin the cup too much in order to help you out! 🤢🥴😩😉😘
    Loved the rum comment. “Learning how to be good sailors.” I think it’s a good thing to try and master one’s craft! I guess as in most things in life... practice, practice, practice! It’s a tough job... so have fun practicing! Cheers! 🍹🥃🙃
    I love that you are doing Babble and discovering new languages! (Hashtag Babble in your description box and maybe work out a sponsorship in upcoming videos... especially since you are already using and enjoying their product!!!) But I think basic attempts at French should suffice if ever there is a real need. “La toilette, sil vous plait?” Use a questioning inflection in your voice and they will know “restroom, please?”! If you add in a potty dance they may understand any sense of potential urgency! 😉😂🤣
    Do you have to show passports like any other customs when checking in and out? I never really thought about the legalities in all the entering and exiting of countries when sailing about the world and entering in through a marina. It makes perfect sense but just never occurred to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

      I remember our Disney trip. We had so much fun! And yes, we have to show all sorts of passport and vessel documentation every time we arrive in or leave a country. Lots of stamps on our passports. Miss you, girlfriend!😘

    I think our daughter ran into you on Ile Pinnel back in March. After I dropped her and a friend off I got sent away by the National Parks Guards and had to Anchor at Orient Bay. There was another Catamaran near us named wind Adventures and I thought that was the boat she ran ito. She just watched a video you made on boat guests and called me to tell me it was you. Our boat is a Leopard 48 name Gratitude (now in Grenada). So sorry I missed seeing you two. Keep up these great and fun videos!

      It’s a small world when it comes to the sailing community. We actually offered the girls a ride back to your boat. We also had to move a few hours later by the way. In fact when we were moving to Orient we had to rescue a father and son whose jetski broke down and they were drifting out of the area. We towed them on their jet ski from out boat. That was kind of fun. Glad you guys made it to Grenada. We’re a half a day out from New York City and will spend this summer up in New England. Tell your daughter we said Hi!

      @SailingWindTherapy  Рік тому

      We just hauled the boat in Grenada. Next season we’ll work our way up the Caribbean and then head back to NE US via Bermuda. But we’ll fly up to Annapolis for the boat show this Oct. Will you be there again? If so, we’ll see you there!

      I don’t think St Martin even makes any Rum. Now if we had a croissant and crepe tasting, that’s a different story. 😁

    What a nightmare, you have a sail boat and you can go anywhere, why go to crowded places... must be lonely

    • @SailingWindTherapy
      @SailingWindTherapy  Рік тому +1

      Not sure what you mean. We sometimes go to remote places and we sometimes go to crowded places and every other place in between. St. Martin can get a bit crowded sometimes but it’s also a whole lot of fun.
