- Undeterred, Emilie Munroe of San Francisco firm Studio Munroe set about making the massive space and adjoining vestibule more warm and inviting. “I thought, Let’s be bold, let’s be colorful, let’s be vibrant and forward-thinking and create a magical environment for welcoming people into this home,” she recalls. Grounding colors set the tone: a deep sea blue on the walls, with inky black for the brick fireplace. On either side of the hearth is a multicolored wallcovering depicting clouds during a dramatic sunrise, a color scheme that’s replicated in the ombré print in the entryway-and the rest of the room’s furnishings.

Loving the host's outfit at the end. The skirt is very busy, but the white top really lets the necklace and skirt shine. It's perfect. She looks amazing😍

I watch a lot of design videos and this is one of the most beautiful rooms I have seen. I hate that everyone just use neutrals now no personality. This room has a nice mood. Everything in here is great and that paint color very daring.

Wow I love her...I have seen many other designers doing a muted neutral tone but she's able to play bold and loud without making people feel bored in the space!!! and her personality is a so Candiliciuos!!! Best choice to have Emilie Munroe the Marilyn Monroe in the design world!!!
This space is gorgeous! Like she said it looks lived in rather than a show room. The use of color is great. Fresh timeless and homely and the cloud mural is stunning. Fantastic job.

So much energy in this room! Now, I'm not sure if the white balance is the blame 🧐 but wondering why the color I'm seeing on the screen is so inconsistent in this particular video. Just as I'm swooning over the tealy blue walls, they suddenlyshift to a smokey blue, and then a sagey eucalyptus green.. not complaining about the colors. They're all gorgeous. But wondering which scenes are accurate representations of Emilie's color story. 🤔

Spectacular. Too bad the kitchen cabinets aren't aubergine, though. They'd look fabulous with this interior.
She did a great job. I don’t love the color of the fireplace. I think a navy or maybe a gray with blue undertones would have read more cohesive. She’s definitely brave in her design which was refreshing.
It's gonna take a very open minded person to buy this house. Wish I had the money, I'm definitely sold!!
