Hey everyone I hope you’re doing good. In this video I advised to not take your medicine and try natural remedies but after reading some comments I realised that is not a smart thing to say. Thank you to those telling me this, I will keep it in mind now. What I do advise you to do is read about your medication and when you start using it, use it with caution. Know what the consequences could be and decide with your doctor whether taking the medication will heal your problem or just put a layer of protection over it without actually fixing the problem. Especially when it comes to mental issues I think doctors should prescribe therapy above medication (as a first step). It’s a shame that my doctor put me on addictive medication without telling me the dangers and now I’m dealing with worse issues than before. I just wanted to warn people like me because I never wish someone to feel the way I did after the medication. Especially when I think therapy would be a better first step! I hope it’s more clear now. Thank you again for pointing this out. That’s why I appreciate your feedback so much! It helps me to become a more considerate person. Much love, and please take care of yourself. Have a good night rest! ❤️❤️❤️
OMGGG!!⭐ Hii Lisa!⭐✋😊 I agree with this! From my experience, when I took Antidepressants, I felt like a Zombie🤪😵😵🤪, so they haven't work for me! But if they help somebody, go for it!! 😊👍I'll rather just listen to music, run or take long walks with my dog🐶, and breath some fresh air! That helps me. Stay strong, Stay Happy! ✋😊
Therapy is 100% a better first step! Most reputable doctors will have you on therapy alongside medication anyway, you should never be put on medication without regularly seeing a therapist as well.
I understand where you were coming from based on your experience but medication can save lives. Completely ruling out medication after only ever being on one just isn’t practical. Sometimes it takes multiple try’s on different medications to find what works for you. Over the past 10 years I have probably tried 20+ different medications to get where I am today and I’ve been one the same 3 for the last 4 years. I’m glad natural remedies work for your anxiety but when you have more than that going on sometimes medication is necessary. Cbd and flower oils won’t control mania or delusions/hallucinations etc. That being said I have watched this video probably 5 times now as it’s so relaxing I keep coming back. I’m glad you found what works for you but I hope you can see it from the other side too ❤️
Hey Lisa, I'm glad CBD has helped you. As someone who has suffered severe anxiety with panic attacks, advising people not to take their meds is not a good idea specially when we're talking mental health. In my case meds helped me through the darkest days of my anxiety and now I can manage it without it, I'm sure CBD works great for you (and many others) but respectfully, saying "don't take your meds" doesn't sound like a good idea. Not trying to be rude or anything.
yes exactly! meds can be scary, but in some cases are necessary for function. WITHOUT the meds i feel like i’m dying because of how bad my mental health gets, and going off them might actually be a death wish for me…everyone’s different u know
@@danny_rockz227 I feel you, benzos can be the devil for many people but when I had panic attacks so bad I thought I was having a heart attack those pills were the only thing that snapped me out of it. Now I can manage on my own and don't take 'em, but the hell I would've gone through without those pills I can't even begin to tell you.
For some people meds can help. For others they can be really bad. I think people should try first natural remedies and if they are not working they can make the choice to try meds. Just be aware that meds are not always THE solution
I have been using rescue remedy for maybe 15 years now. I love it!! I have never tried any of the other flower remedies, but you have me totally sold lol. We are similar in that I also have to be able to be in control of my body. I’m glad you were able to realize that at your age and not at age 30 like me. I haven’t smoked any cannabis in 10 or so years and no alcohol in the last 5 years. Also don’t even get me stared on meds. Not good at all. I only use natural remedies. Because they make me feel better and more clear without side effects. I don’t really have panic attacks anymore. Because I worked through lots of emotions, and listen to what my body tells me. It’s good to see that you also listen to your body and not force it to feel things that you are not comfortable with. Much love ❤️ thank you for your videos. I truly love them.
When i watch these types of videos from you it always feels so natural like a friend that ive known for years is telling me all these things and its so comforting i love it here and i love you and your videos 🥰🥰
good to hear you found other ways to better health Lisa. I hope you maintain your positive mindset and keep making videos because they help so many others as well. Love the sounds with all of the dropper bottles. Take care!
Hi Lisa. Sorry to hear about what you're going through. And I agree with you - everybody should be careful about medication. And also try therapy before taking medication which can affect the chemicals in your brain. My doctor gave me meds too, treated my depression well but caused extreme anxiety which I have been battling for a year now. Having therapy now to work on that and refusing to have any other meds prescribed. And remember - acceptance is the first step at getting better. Pushing thoughts and sensations away can make them come back much stronger. All the best ❤️
Please don’t ever be ashamed of talking about or accepting depression/anxiety, the accepting is such an important step to getting better 💗 we are all here for you Lisa xx
I understand you, Lisa. Everything will be fine. Whatever you do and whatever happens, everything will be fine. Today before I go to sleep you will be in my prayers 🙏🏻 Good night, Lisa 🌃😘❤️👐🏻🤗
This is my all time fave style of vid from you, ramble with triggers , they are always super duper tingly and I also felt like Iearned something I am going to check out these products as well 💗
I understand your concern but I do want to say that doctors prescribe antidepressants waaaaay to easily! That one pill made me the most anxious I have ever been in my life so no way that I am taking another one. I read lots of studies about antidepressants and there’s absolutely no chance at all that I will ever take one again. + I will tell everyone on antidepressants to read about it and find natural replacements.
@@asmrbylisa hi! i love your work, you seem like a wonderful person ans im sure you hd perfect reasons to drop the meds! but some of us sadly are dependent on chemicals to function like normal human beings, and advising people to drop them could b dangerous, take care
I agree, don’t stop suddenly. I had to wean off of mine. But it sounds like she only took 1 dose and then stopped so she shouldn’t have the negative withdrawal affects that someone would have if they’ve been taking the medication for a long time. It carries by medication as well.
I definitely respect your personal experiences with medication, and I'm sorry they weren't good. But I really do think advising people to not take their medication or to be distrustful of their doctors is not the way to go. Medication is a lot of trial and error; some prescribed medications will work, some won't. Some natural stuff may work, some won't. It's all just about trying multiple things and seeing what works (which, in some cases, is prescribed medication from your doctor).
I understand what you’re trying to say, but I wish doctors would first prescribe natural medicine that don’t cause any side effects before putting someone on heavy! medication. The antidepressants I got were WAY too strong for me (even tho they were the least strong ones). Felt like I was drugged. This was just my experience tho. Might be because I’m high sensitive to pretty much anything... I do agree that some pharmaceutical medication helps a lot of people. For example my acne was treated with roaccutane. A lot of people get side effects from that medication but strangely I got none. So it’s indeed a trial and error. I’m sorry for coming over so short visioned. I really just want to warn people before they ever take an antidepressant because I had a horrible experience.
Absolutely this! Also, be patient. Most medication doesn't work immediately, the antidepressants im on take 12 weeks to stabilize and the side effects when I first started taking it made me MISERABLE but once it leveled out I felt incredible. Talk to your doctor about what side effects to expect and for how long to expect them, some medications should have immediate effects and if you aren't getting that please talk to your doctor. But most medication, ESPECIALLY antidepressants can take a while to work the way they should and for the side effects to fade.
@@asmrbylisa glad you’re off the anti depressants. That shit will fuck your brain up and doctors are way too eager to prescribe it even without the patient even seeing a psychologist or psychiatrist, although even they are eager to push pills.

There are some people that medication truly helps, I used to be one of those people. After 10 years on medication I felt it wasn’t helping anymore and told my dr I wanted to stop taking it (after trying several different medications to see if the switch helped). I am currently trying therapy/counseling to see if that helps. I’m well aware that o have depression and anxiety and have for years but I definitely don’t always accept or even agree with it. I’m glad you have found something that helps you but don’t close your mind off to other options in the future as things change and you may need to treat your symptoms differently down there road. Thank you for being open about your struggles, maybe it will help others feeling the same way to start looking for help with their situation. I’ve always loved your videos but the story times and life update type videos are always my favorite. Hope things keep going better for you! Have to add that unfortunately the only way to k ow if a medication is right for you or not is to try to so your dr didn’t intentionally prescribe the wrong medication but that one just happened to not work for you.
I remember you mentioning several times in both you're oldest videos how sensitive you are too sound etc. Hypersensitivity and ADHD come hand in hand a lot of the times, have you considered maybe this is something you're struggling with? Symptoms are: Emotional dysregulation, rejection sensitive dysphoria, trouble concentrating, a lot of trouble getting on with tasks, forgetting information very frequently, sudden jolts of energy and than none half an hour later, zoning out, addiction to dopamine (music, cigarettes, weed, any drug really, food). most of all trouble sleeping!!!! Insomnia is the biggest one. I completely understand your perspective, I've been prescribed ritalin and although ADHD medication works for some, at first I feel great and right after I start to feel even more anxious, i'm tense, i can't eat and just constantly irritated. Medication changes your brain chemistry, always be careful with what you take.
