I do agree on Polk Hts 10 " if no calibrated properly it will sound Boomy" I did face this problem, however with the Auddesy Multieq App and Dynamic Eq setting in Denon X3800h, this now sounds good

For the value and performance, coz I think pb1000 can go up to 19hz but the sb1000pro is only up to 20hz also considering the driver size is 10" on pb 1000 & Ported will it perform better for movies and music? Or is the sb1000pro better? Coz my room size is only 14x15.
Nsw300 is one of the best in price and performance Firstly i was hesitated to get one due to the grill couldn’t be opened. But after i bought i was like who wants to see the paper cone dancing when the bass hitss your chest 🎉🎉😂

Hey Don, There is no favourite sub as such! I would prefer to buy one that matches with the main speakers and the room size! The placement of sub and the bass management is equally important for best output! And I don’t have my own HT, I use a 2ch system with TV at home! But got an experience center with 2 cinema rooms and more than 7 setups for surround sound 😀😉👍🏻

True that, Yamahas can get boomy. Try changing the position!

My room size is 15*8*6.should i go with dual elac aj1020(10inch) or one elac 1225(12 inch)

I think you should go with Yamaha one. It can go down to 20hz frequency and also has setting for Music and movie that you can switch accordingly
