I can't put into words how Taylors death has affected me. I went to five FF concerts and man, nothing else like it in the world. Dave, keeps looking at the lighting guy so he can see all of us and Taylor stands up and waves and Dave, Chris, Pat...this was in the middle of a show in Council Bluffs Iowa nine years ago. They could NOT have been nicer or just sweet and funny af. We left there and saw the buses behind our hotel and they were clowning around back there. We wanted so much to go tell them THANK YOU FOR THE GREATEST NIGHT OF OUR LIVES. We loved it so...I raised my kids with Foo constantly playing and they all know everything I do. Dave's book is amazing. Just utterly truthful and thoughtful. His Mother, Virginia raised David in such a manner that you can't help but love this guy. He and Taylor will always be my Hero's. They have gotten me through some tough tough shit in my life just by listening to songs like Statues, February Stars...songs most ppl don't know. But, I haven't gotten to the point of not crying every damn day over Taylor and God...I can only imagine David's heartache and shock. God bless Allison, Jordyn all the girls and Chris and Pat. Damn...so many ppl that love Foo Fighters. We'll never forget that joy of Oliver Taylor Hawkins.

I have seen a lot of these tributes for Taylor Hawkins,who is really quite beloved like no other, and this one set to My Hero is now my favorite!! As a Daddy's girl myself to see those scenes with his daughter are so beautiful and heart wrenching and made me cry a lil bit more first thing in my morning. Love the Foo Fighters and love Taylor Hawkins and hope he's up above making them all smile and laugh and rock out just like he did here on earth!! RIP you lovely man 🥁🎤💜
This video is awesome!!!! But why...Why is it every tribute or video of Taylor has a comment somewhere in the video itself or in the comments about drugs? Every drug in his system except pot can be found in prescription drugs and it was never stated that he died of a drug overdose. Over half of America probably has those same drugs in their systems due to all the anxiety, antidepressants, and pain pills thrown down people's throats like candy by Doctors.
If you would have just avoided the drugs!!!!! Taylor……such a great talent……ended too soon because of the drugs. Dang you! Another drummer influence gone too soon…Jeff Porcaro, Carlos Vega, Mike Kennedy, and now Taylor.
