Josh is a sweetheart in real life. But his roles are so complex and he plays them with such deep human shades!!! Incredible actor. You've got a treasure in your hands Netflix.
Yes, I love what you said, "he plays them with such deep human shades". He is really amazing at getting lost and saturated with the character he is playing. His face and body language is able to communicate all he is going through without one single word. I love him.
Josh's portrayal of Charles in the Crown was beyond excellent. He made me pity him and like him immensely in season 3 for his soft character only to turn that around in season 4 where you find those same character traits caused him to be weak and selfish. He deserves every accolade he receives in my opinion.
I first saw him in God's Own Country a couple of years ago. He's such a terrific actor. I love the vulnerability he brings to the characters he's playing.
such a wonderful "natural" actor and his seamless transition into character makes him so believable - never feels like hes "acting" and of course his wonderful charming demeanour and guy next door thing keeps making us come back for "more Josh"
Such a beautiful actor, not just in a visual sense but in the way he carries the sensitivity and vulnerability of his characters. So open and vivid his portrayals.
I love how he is so grounded after such a big achievement and his array of beautifully constructed roles defining every stride he makes in the industry. He has captured hearts unbelievably fast and he promises to forever keep that place. Bravo MY LOVE. Rightfully deserving. Josh forever. 💖
When I saw him in God's Own Country... I knew this guy was a magnificent actor. So glad he got worldwide attention via The Crown and can keep using his fabulous talents.
I loved him as Charles is third season, I hated him as well in fourth season ( his performance was astonishing!) then I watched The Durrels and loved him as well. The best thing about Josh apart from being an excelent actor is his charisma, you can notice that in the interviews
@@letizia6391 Yes I was! Tbh before Les Miserables I had never heard about him but after Les Miserables I continued to follow his acting career and he manages to impress me every time 🙂
I remember seeing him for the first time in Peaky Blinders many years ago and though his appearance was small he really stood out to me. I was honestly bummed that his role was so small. Now after seeing him in Challengers as well as The Crown, he is easily one of my favirote actors.
I saw him on "only you", " God's own country" and "Emma" besides "The Crown" of course. But God's own country is so amazing movie! Such a talented actor👏
I completely agree with you!!!!! IT'S A MASTERPIECE because of the great JOSH and ALEC brillant performances!!!!! and the beautiful love story!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I knew this since God's Own Country that Josh gonna be the new British rising star then after he cast on The Crown I'm more sure he's the new "it" boy along with Anya Taylor-Joy as the new "it" girl in British film industry and they both won Golden Globes, so glad both of their talent got recognition.
There's a glaring omission here: Josh's performance as Marius Pontmercy in the Les Miserables limited series which was shown on public television here in the U.S.
I bet he wouldnt fall to drugs. he said in lots of interviews that he spent his freetime reading, gardening, art and photography. He also said he doesnt really enjoy nightlifes, I havent see a single photo/video of him in clubs. Honestly his life persona just made him lovable even more.
Josh O'Connor is the most brilliant actor. My favourite role of his Prince Charles from The Crown. I didn't know he had such a vast career at a young age. He's a versatile actor and I would love to see rest of his work.😍
Josh is extremely talented, he needs to make another projects like only you or god's own country and he must work with Benedict Cumberbatch or Tom Hiddleston sometime
I don’t know why many people don’t know that he also played a role in BBC miniseries les Miserables in 2018 😅😅😅 I guess I’m the only one who watched that miniseries!
I AM ONCE AGAIN ASKING JOSH FOR HIS HAND IN MARRIAGE
You may have a chance. His current long-distance girlfriend lives in New York.
Sis get to the back of the queue!!
@@cliffbunsam no they live together in London he’s said multiple times
You and me sis
get in line.

Same here
he's an icon. he's a legend and he is the moment.
Come on now 💅🏾💅🏾
We really just gonna skim passed the fact that both versions of his dad were in that Doctor Who episode?
Mind. Blown.
such a wonderful "natural" actor and his seamless transition into character makes him so believable - never feels like hes "acting" and of course his wonderful charming demeanour and guy next door thing keeps making us come back for "more Josh"
God's own country is a masterpiece
A masterpiece with phenomenally brilliant performances.
After that movie, knowing he was playing charles was the only reason I watched the crown. Best choice.
Yes one of my absolute favorite movies
i've heard about it and now i really want to watch it!!
I beg to differ.
Such a beautiful actor, not just in a visual sense but in the way he carries the sensitivity and vulnerability of his characters. So open and vivid his portrayals.
I feel like he should be in a Wes Anderson movie!
yep!
We are thinking the same thing
💡 yea that’d be cool!
So true ! That would be a hit. He’s proven his comic talent in Emma
I love how he is so grounded after such a big achievement and his array of beautifully constructed roles defining every stride he makes in the industry. He has captured hearts unbelievably fast and he promises to forever keep that place. Bravo MY LOVE. Rightfully deserving. Josh forever. 💖
i’m absolutely in LOVE with him, he manages to play any role he gets so well!!! i wish him all the best in his career
When I saw him in God's Own Country... I knew this guy was a magnificent actor. So glad he got worldwide attention via The Crown and can keep using his fabulous talents.
True
Really like “The Durrells”
Me too! It's what introduced me to Josh and I was an instant fan.
He was absolutely brilliant as Lawrence in The Durrells!
God’s Own Country. Now a fan for life!
We need more of Josh's American accent.
Watch challengers
I love how he played the character of Charles. I felt every emotion he was portraying, he was just so brilliant.
I loved him as Charles is third season, I hated him as well in fourth season ( his performance was astonishing!) then I watched The Durrels and loved him as well. The best thing about Josh apart from being an excelent actor is his charisma, you can notice that in the interviews
*excellent
The range he possesses....wow
Genuinely has so much talent, I can't wait to see what else he'll do!
I first knew of him from his role in "The Durrells." I love that show
Josh is so convincing at making you despise Charles and his despicable treatment of Diana, that you'd almost forget that he's acting! 😍🎭
He’s going to be a rising star 🌟
Who’s on a josh marathon after Challengers
You forgot to mention his part in BBC Les Miserables, opposite Lily Collins!!
YEEESS, he was, as usual, amazing
@@letizia6391 Yes I was! Tbh before Les Miserables I had never heard about him but after Les Miserables I continued to follow his acting career and he manages to impress me every time 🙂
@@sharonfenech2912 I already new him but with Les Miserables I fell in love with his acting
He played young Marius, and he was wonderful.

Wow im just amaze at how good is Josh portraying emotions of different characters ,no wonder he won the award and all the upcoming awards
God! I love him.. Such a wonderful actor ❤️
He is a real acting talent.
The Durrells is an all time fave of mine
I remember seeing him for the first time in Peaky Blinders many years ago and though his appearance was small he really stood out to me. I was honestly bummed that his role was so small. Now after seeing him in Challengers as well as The Crown, he is easily one of my favirote actors.

my absolute king. i needed this video for my mental health, ty
How he nailed the accent and personality in God's own country actually amazed me after I found out he wasn't northern.
Hey netflix! I think you should add Les Miserables too. He was so great!!
the interview he did on the podcast Talk Art...... fabulously relaxed and entertaining....
Netflix slept on Josh as Marius in BBC's Les Mis.
It ran on public television here in the U.S. and is available on Amazon Prime. I guess that's why it's not included in this Netflix video.
My first Josh was The Riot Club!
And He's now an Emmy Winner back at September now 🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍. Congrats lad
God's owns country is a beautiful movie and one of my favorite roles of Josh O'Connor.
Some of these films look really interesting! I'll have to add them to my list.
I saw him on "only you", " God's own country" and "Emma" besides "The Crown" of course. But God's own country is so amazing movie! Such a talented actor👏
such a bright future ahead of him!!!!
He deserves all the best. He’s Amazing and Great actor.
To me, he's always Larry from the Durrells.
He's very good in The Durrells and as Charles. I have to watch everything he 's in . He s a great actor
They didn't even mention Mothering Sunday. Another great performance. ❤
It's one of my favourite actors... I have known him since Durrells
He’s really good in Bridgend, very underrated little film
Thoroughly recommend Hope Gap. Him and Bill Nighy were amazing as father and son.
Thanks. I'm a fan of Bill Nighy's, too.
He is so so funny in The Durrells
Gods Own Country. One of the best movies I´ve seen.

When I saw “Gods own country” I thought I have to see more of this guy. Then “The Durrells” and “The Crown” came along😍
Favourite role has to be Larry but God's Own Country is incredible.
My favorite role he played is one that isn’t mentioned here.
He played such a poetic Marius Pontmercy in Les Miserables (with Lily Collins)
Same. That’s where I first got I introduced to him. And loved him in that

A great talent!!
My favourite actor and so lovely met him in Greece
He is destined for greatness.
If he keep his way straight and avoid drugs, his name will be written in stars.
I bet he wouldnt fall to drugs. he said in lots of interviews that he spent his freetime reading, gardening, art and photography. He also said he doesnt really enjoy nightlifes, I havent see a single photo/video of him in clubs. Honestly his life persona just made him lovable even more.

Yeaaah he was 😍
That Diana scene is what have him his win

Looooved him in Ripper Street
Yes God's Own Country is a masterpiece.
There was also a great role in " Les Misérables”
Omg i really liked that show they didn’t mention about that :(
marius ❤️
He could be Ayrton Senna in a movie or series, has some similar facial characteristics
Omg yes!
I mean, I am pretty sure that if they make a movie about Senna, probably someone from brasil would play it lol
Josh O'Connor is the most brilliant actor. My favourite role of his Prince Charles from The Crown.
I didn't know he had such a vast career at a young age. He's a versatile actor and I would love to see rest of his work.😍
If you now adore him, wait to see GOD'S OWN COUNTRY where He's Astonish!!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Gosh that was fun to update 🏆
Josh also appeared in one episode of father brown
Really? I like that show.
Charles doesn't deserve Josh.
I don’t know why many people don’t know that he also played a role in BBC miniseries les Miserables in 2018 😅😅😅 I guess I’m the only one who watched that miniseries!
Others on here have seen it, too, including me. He was amazing. A glaring omission on the part of this video.
I love God's Own Country!
