this is the debut of the new vocalist from eskimo callboy nico sallach (clean vocals) and this song immediately made me like the breakdown part is really crazy but I like it and in the middle of the new album project, tekkno train, they changed the name of their band to electric callboy

I discovered Electric Callboy though the song the did with Babymetal (Ratatata) you should definitely react to that one. But since then EC has been on my playlist. They are that fun and energetic Metal that just puts you in a great mood. Hope to see more reactions from them and if you like react and like Ratatata possibly BabyMetal reactions in the future as well

Hard to pin down the genre. Partycore? Electronic Dance Metal? Boy Band Metal? And was it an homage to or parody of the 80’s and 90’s? It’s a bit like if Weird Al went metal. Or if Trey Parker and Matt Stone did a South Park episode on that time period. It looked like Miami Vice with the neon, palm trees and Ferrari. It felt like ‘Night at the Roxbury’. The ‘Blue Steel’ breaking of the fourth wall was ‘Zoolander’. The Big Banana in the yellow track suit has ‘More Cowbell’ energy (look for that Will Ferrell SNL sketch.) The only thing they were serious about was the music and it put a smile on my face. 🙂

As someone else also mentioned they have recently done a 50/50 collaboration with Babymetal, which I see you haven't reacted to, so I'll go into my next bit assuming that you may be unfamiliar with Babymetal. Just as you've found with EC, Babymetal are also another "You can't go back and experience it for the first time" would be awesome if it could be done though. Interesting, both bands have been around since 2010. Babymetal has grew steadily over the years, while EC really broke out during the pandemic after signing their new clean vocalist, Nico Sallach. With that being said, for Babymetal, I would highly suggest starting off with either Road of Resistance Live in Japan or Headbanger Live @ Legend 1997 (abr metal has a good version titled "Headbanger Legend of 1997")
