- Popular UA-cam star Ben Potter has died at the age of 40. He was known as the Comicstorian, with over 3 million subscribers on his channel.

Benny went his entire career on UA-cam without a single scandal as is so common on the platform. He inspired a generation of kids to enjoy and explore their hobbies and was just generally an all-round-awesome person. Just by enjoying and sharing a hobby he brought over 3 million subscribers together (and I believe he reached 1 billion views). He was a veteran and even beyond that did so much for so many people. Rest in peace, Benny.
Yeah, was just naturally likeable. Got me caught up on decades of comics history. Definitely a big reason I'm a comic book fan. RIP to the Legend Benny from Comicstorian.
This does matter now. What's matter is what kind of relationship he had with his maker. I am sure he already had his life reviews and was sent either to hell or heaven. As we know, most people go to hell. God is not going to evaluate him based on how many UA-cam videos he made without scandal unfortunately. I won't say RIP, because nobody rest in peace. As soon as the people died, the soul leaves the body and the person is still conscious and continues to sense everything exponentially. The one who get saved continues to live in peace and joy. Whole heartedly. He brought many fans to a medium that wouldn't be there without him. I say make him a hero 😤 that his superpowers be persuasion and his voice 😍 because he persuaded me to get back in the comics with his voice 😤 this dude's going to be missed so much

I think Benny would get a good laugh about his hot sauce brand making it onto the news because of his death. I can practically hear him laughing and joking about it now, and can practically picture Sal's face. Gonna miss that a whole lot.

@@Vickolai Yeah. Him and his brother started it maybe 6 months to a year ago. They usually promoted it on their Absolutely Marvel and DC channel (which is my favorite channel of his)
I think it was called This Hot Sauce Is. Everyone on the show seemed to like it quite a bit. You can still buy it on their website.

I had no idea that Ben was so huge that he would actually get coverage from News outlets. Don’t get me wrong. I’m surprised As I am sad, that the man died at 40 years old. I have subscribed to him I only occasionally listen to he while I’m at work to get through the day.

He was a nice guy. Big voice and a big heart. Even his aspirations were big. I'm sure whatever he had planned would've been amazing.
It’s so sad because I think when you think of UA-camrs and geek culture today, it’s all people hating and complaining and raging about everything. It makes it not even fun to be a fan anymore. Ben was never like that. Every time I watched one of his videos it reminded me why I loved comic books. I wish the people that brought politics into everything on BOTH sides would leave. Ben’s channel help me forget about all that stuff.
He liked people to come to his channel and celebrate comics, and the fun they can be in anything positive in life you got to hold onto. Life’s too short to be complaining and hating every day. And you could tell Ben was a positive person. I just finished his recap of the crossover comic book between DC comics and the monster verse and he did such a great job. I am devastated that we lost him so young. I pray for his family and friends. Rest In Peace Ben and Ty for everything 🙏

It's crazy watching all the coverage of the day after the news was broke. 😔 I hooped on yesterday expecting a fresh video like he always would deliver... Was not expecting this when I woke up and got on UA-cam...
It’s really is a shame. I really loved him. He and I have something in common. We’re both a fan of Marvel and DC comics. It’s a shame he passed away May he rest in peace.
