Sitting for 30 years! Will it run?

- This is a video from a couple of years ago where we get a 1950 plymouth deluxe that was sitting for 30 years to run. after fiddling with the carb, points, distributor and fuel we finally get this thing to run. we needed a piece of twine to drive it but we eventually did that as well

FYI - this engine was used until 1960.

Starter sounds like a 6v , won't last long on 12v
@Mac-sh4mj yes its still a 6 volt car. Not the right thing to do but it's not permanent
@@junkyardjoe1994 had one back in the '70 s it was hard to start so my dad found an 8 volt battery for it and it started great and didn't damage the starter.Tha lights were better also
