Hi Kristy, the sinew that I us I get off of Amazon. It is artificial deer sinew and all tie-dye sinews are wax coated so in the process of pulling it tight the waxed sinew sticks to itself. So there is know need to tie it off. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching.

I've never worked with sinew. I see you start with a slip knot, but never see you knot it at the end. Does it just stick to itself?
