Raya, that is freaking, if you know what I mean, amazing. The medallion on the front looks like Indian beadwork. And the back is a freaking TP. It is extremely beautiful and so well done. Your pattern and time ability by far out surpasses anyone I’ve seen on UA-cam. Thank you so much for all you do for us out here learning and trying to mimic your creativity. As always you and your family be safe.
I as well am appreciative of all the people on here showing is their talents and how to so we can try to do it as well. Amazing artwork. Always happy to see new patterns and what people can do. Thank you for sharing. ❤
I cannot say that I have ever seen a tie-dye quite like this all of these works are breathtaking and amazing I've done tie-dye before but this right here this is something that needs to be called something different altogether.
just a wonerful shirt. could you do a video sometime showing just how to do the honeycomb pattern. i cant really find one .also what is the advantage of using fishing line?.you know us adicted to tie dye. we are always on the look out for ways to improve our work.that turtle shirt is awesome by the way and the pricing reasonable enough so that everyone can afford tie dye. i really respect you for that in these hard times. i love watching your channel grow. well deserved!
Thank you so much! The fishing line is skinnier than sinew so it can create the white lines but they will be smaller white lines so it won’t look as chunky ☺️
Verry beautiful. I found a bunch of my tyedye stuff i bought 2 summers ago and all the plain shirts lol. I think im going to be more creative with this next batch plus I have grandkiddos to help. My luck thry will want to do all these super fancy designs
Okay, this my be my favorite of your designs... The mandala is impeccable, the back reminds me of chakras somehow, and the geodes really come through after the wash/dry!
How is this even humanly possible?!!! This design and color is absolutely stunning. Your designs have been becoming more intricate and mind boggling. Can't wait for more!!! 👍❤️
Exodus movement of Jah people, yah...I love Bob Marley and any kind of Reggae music.❤️ Your T-Shirt is by far the most challenging and the intricate details is what makes them so unique. Your work is always amazing, God bless.
I know that the secret to great designs is in the tying , and I LOVE these overhead shots where we can watch how meticulous you are about the tying, however, we are missing out on the dialog of what ties are creating which designs, and the WHY this method of measured pleating and the zig-zag tying creates this kind of pattern , or that kind of pattern. I know that the videos would become very long given the number of hours each shirt/ masterpiece (which is how I think of your work! You are a Master!) takes to just tie up! Still, I am blown away how you pluck out all of these little nubs and tie them so tightly and create these tiny little dynamite designs EVERYWHERE on the shirt, AND they are perfectly placed ! Then , how in the world do you get in there and get all of the wonderful colors in these tight, tiny little places once you have the whole thing tied up and it looks literally like a mass of nubs!? I am really on a rhetorical kind of rant here; I don't expect you to answer all of these questions because that would take too much of your time , BUT, I would LOVE for you to do a couple of IN-DEPTH, hours long, "full" process tutorials (not giving away any of your trade secrets, of which I'm sure you have many!) but giving us enough details that we might learn some of the technical background so that we might be able to experiment once we know enough of the math. I am blown away by your work, and as of yet I have not tie dyed anything, but have bought an assortment good grade materials and a few garments from Dharma trading co. and am anxious to get dying, but my technicality and perfectionism is holding me hostage!
I believe this is my favorite design you have shown. Wow, beautiful, it’s an art work. All of the hard work on this was so worth it! It’s a masterpiece! Love 💕 it!
I have followed and studied your work for a couple months and just wanted to say thank you and wanted to show what Ive learned from you but made my own. Wish I could show you pics. Keep on amazdyeing!!! 💚💚💚
Nice how you don't use elastic bands, I thought to myself that thread or yarn being porous might have a different effect and maybe being more tight, I don't know if that true but I think it's a cooler way to do it...
Wow! Amazing work. The effort shows in the work and is an inspiration. I have attempted the mandala front/triangle back with ice with decent results, but nothing as tight as this. A masterwork.
U are absolutely, 💯 undoubtedly, wickedly TALENTED!!!!! There's not a single person out there that can even come close to matching your level of expertise! Amazing 😍❣️😍❣️😍
Hi Riah, i love your tie dye talent! I watched more than a few of your videos for ideas so i could cover a stain. I need to make it tighter on the folds, a bigger work area. It was exciting to see how it would turn out. Thanks rhea
Riah, Just WOW!!! GORGEOUS!!! I want to do some but right now I don't have the extra funds and I think my patience would wear thin and I don't think my hands and back could handle it. The inside circle... the way the colors kind overlapped and/or blended darker at the bottom and the top ended up lighter, it slightly gives a 3D illusion effect to that part of the design. IF you don't know how to use light and dark to create a 3D effect, I would bet you can find videos teaching it, then you could use it to make your designs look like they are coming out of the shirt or digging deeper into the shirt!!!! You are so good at your designs and creativity I would absolutely bet you can do it!!! And I don't bet!!
Another Beauty, Riah! 🥀⚘🌹 Hope your business is soaring as far as you can go! 🎊🎉 You are quite the artist, girlfriend! 🤩 Keep your sunny side up! ☀️😉 God bless you all! ✝️
Thank you very much for opening up your technique for us all. Incredibly kind of you. I noticed you used fishing line for the geodes parts, what kind of string do you use for the front? Is that twine? Thanks again for sharing your beautiful art ❤
Thank you so much for the in depth tutorials!! Any tips for getting better saturation on the mandala? I’ve tried my hand at a few now and there are massive white gaps :/. It might just come down to practice tbf
You’re very welcome! Tie your shirt dry and fill your petals until they are “juicy” ☺️ if it looks like it is sucking up the dye still, then you probably need to add more ❤️
Super stoked Riah, I'm going to make my 3rd tapestry today! Watching vids and getting inspired, not sure what I'll be making, but it should be pretty cool if Anything you've taught us comes shining through ;) Have a great weekend, thx again for all the Epicness!
amazing! floored by your color control. are you using any thickener or are you just that careful. I won't be trying this for a minute but I will. Thanks Riah
Wow Riah this is one of the best you have ever done !!! You put so much hard work put into the tying and dying I just knew it was going to be a masterpiece of yours !!! Thanks for sharing your special talent with all of us... L&L 2u always R
I'm stunned! I didn't know this could be done with tie dye. I mean, the detail! Wow
Thank you! It’s definitely a lot of work and planning but the possibilities are endless😊🌈

I didn't realize there was a goddess of tie dye! You are IT! :)
Wow! Thank you! 😊❤️
Wow! That's like wow again! 🥰
Thanks!!!
Whoa!!! Didnt expect that result after you flipped the shirt! A+
Thank you so much! ❤️🌈
Your work is so incredible. If I didn't see you do this, there's no way I would believe that it was tie dyed by hand! 😍
Thank you so much! That’s super nice of you! I’m still working on my ties but they’re getting better ☺️❤️🌈
@@RiahsTieDye Well, it's a million times better than anything I can make! I'm happy to recognize amazing art whenever I see it! 💕🌈💖
It's satisfying that you never even waste a drop of dye. I love the designs
I try not too lol.
That might be the sickest tie dye I’ve ever seen.
Thank you so much! ❤️
Perfect for Pride!
That’s what I was thinking! Thank you so much! ☺️❤️🌈

Yes! I need to learn that pattern as well. Seems like I will need to practice my patience lol
Totally agree with you 100 % well deserved indeed 👏
Thank you so much! The fishing line is skinnier than sinew so it can create the white lines but they will be smaller white lines so it won’t look as chunky ☺️
WOW!!! Absolutely AWESOME!!! Stunning work❤❤❤❤❤🎉😊
How do you even figure this out 😩
Months of practice 😊

Again I wouldn't generally wear tie dyes but your dyes are a work of art. I'd wear them and hang them on my walls
Thank you! That’s a huge compliment from someone who generally doesn’t wear tie dye. I truly appreciate that😊💜
That came out perfect! I love everything about this!
Thank you so much Tamara! You rock! ☺️❤️🌈

Well sinew is waxed and works really well 😊
Wow! That is so incredibly complex!! I think that might be my favorite of your mandala patterns.
Thank you so much! It took a lot longer than my normal ones ☺️❤️🌈
@@RiahsTieDye Any time the tweezers come out and stay out, I know it's going to be expert- level complicated.
I want one in XL, I absolutely love that shirt 😘🤩

I'd love to do this for a quilt backing. Have you ever done it using ice dyeing?
Not this particular design because the ties are so thick..it may be difficult to saturate all the way.
