still have not seen anyone demo the rear window wiper/washer which is no longer at the bottom which made cleaning the rear window difficult but is now hidden in the spoiler like Lexus used to do up until 2020. Strangely, the Aviator seems to be the only version that Lincoln has done this with. Would be interesting if they do this with the 2021 Nautilus as the 2020 Nautilus is just a 2019.
Thanks for the feedback! I’m always working to make my reviews better and more useful. Sometimes I have to pick between making a concise video or making it more detailed. But the rear windshield is an important detail, so I’ll keep that in mind for sure!
@@AutoN8GT Nathan -- I know others seemed to like your fast pace but I did find that for some reason, not you alone, seem to like going at a break neck speed when doing reviews. It is often difficult to withstand this concept when reviewing one item but becomes more difficult when making comparison reviews. While I was a bit frustrated I did bookmark your review along with one other review which actually was at my pace and was over an hour long but was very informative about the Aviator. I am currently trying to decide whether to keep my 9 year old MKX which I love and only has 103K KM (42 of which I put on in 6 1/2 years) or move to the Aviator. I have been looking at EV's but because of my low mileage use thus using little gas and because I really like all that the Aviator offers am leaning toward it. Age (76) also has a factor in the decision. The Aviator just has so many features that make it a terrific vehicle that it is hard to pass on. If the 2021 Nautilus would have the same features, due to it likely being a bit shorter than the Aviator, might tip my purchase but then again, time can be an issue. Just don't have a lot of it left -- fact of life/death.
Your review was a breath of fresh air It touched on dimensions I value when seeking understanding thru information - both subjective and objective. Thank you.
Ok, the new-gen Aviator uses a turbo 3.0 V6 (400 hp / 415 tq, also available a plugin hybrid turbo 3.0 V6 @ 494 hp / 630 tq), the Navigator uses a turbo 3.5 V6 (450 hp / 510 tq), compared to something in its segment, the Acura MDX and Lexus RX, aren't in its segment (yes, their 3 rows, but smaller, 3 rows), rwd vs fwd, yes, you could argue 3 rows, but the Aviator's true segment is the Audi Q7, BMW X7, etc, I would say the 3 row versions of the BMW X5 or Mercedes GLE, but their 3 rows are useless, anyway, the Navigator is a truck based (body on frame platform), the Aviator is a rwd based unibody SUV platform, Lincoln needs to get more at the dealers, Lincoln best product to date
Correction: 3.5 Twin Turbo V6 belongs in the Navigator and the Raptor. This has a Twin Turbo 3.0 V6 with 400hp and 400ft-lbs of torque.*** I was going for a first impression/Test Drive style of review, but I should’ve caught the mistake in the edit. Thanks to everyone pointing out my sloppy mistake.
Definately worth considering. Even over a Japanese SUV. Only problem is it lacks marketing. I bet must people don't know Lincoln makes SUV or that they're still in business.
When looking at the the spot where the B-pillar meets the headliner at 32:00, I certainly hope that's not the fit & finish we are going to get because that's not what my Audi looks like..(;
Ford needs to improve their displays. The large bezels around the screens remind me of an early 2000's cell phone. Particularly heinous is the dash screen. Why is the top arched when the dash opening is rectangular? Parts-bin sharing or a design oversight? Either way, it would drive me crazy looking at it every day.
Ok going back and forth. Will the reserve give you the option for white interior? I seen it in black and white but it has another name. Or is that combo exclusive for the black label?
Panama A507ting thanks for the comment. I do not work for them so I cannot say for sure, but I did do some research. It appears that you can upgrade the interior seating options, but you cannot add the “Themes” like they have in the black label. The Chalet Theme is white with black stitching and accents. That is not available in the Reserve trim. You must go to Black label for those special themes. Again, that’s just based on me selecting options on the website so there could be more options I am not aware of.
Makes the Cadillac XT6 look like a Chevy. There is so much misinformation, and "I dunno" in this review.If you're going to do a car review you really need to prepare or not do it at all.
@@AutoN8GT you gotta remember that when you do a review, lots of people watching are interested in the product and assume the reviewer is trained and knowledgeable. Gregg Hanson What a reach. Don’t be ridiculous. The Cadillac XT6 is gorgeous inside and out even in it’s base Premium Luxury trim. The same CAN NOT be said about the Aviator is it’s standard base trim. At this mid-trim level “Reserve” price point of $70,000 the Cadillac XT6 comes with a twin-clutch AWD system and is fully loaded. The Aviator soars all the way up to a ridiculous $90,000 and all you get is the addition of an electric motor, upgraded interior, and concierge treatment whenever you need a oil change. The Cadillac is the better value not to mention XT6 has a larger naturally aspirated V6 engine that will be more reliable than the Ford’s complex eco-boosted dual turbocharged hybrid motor concoction. Lincoln Aviator doesn’t offer a naturally aspirated V6 or V8.🤷🏽♂️

This SUV would look amazing in a burnished bronze with a medium tan or champagne leather interior, all the glossy black plastics should be replaced with woods (real or faux), the shiny chrome trim pieces (inside and outside) should be replaced with brushed or satin finishes that will reduce glare/reflection.
🔥The leather of the seats doesnt look quality finish as Germnan or British vehicles , this is something Licoln need to improve as Bentley finishes leather👌
All the cars you mentioned are twice as expensive as the aviator. That had stitched leather cost a pretty penny and some German cars aren't even using leather but comes as an option whereas here its standard!
marcus stokes jajajajaja jajajajajaja twice expensive??? noooo! More than that a Bentley Bentayga is 325,000 to 355,000 dolars , sorry but thats not twice is like 6 times More expensive than a Lincoln Aviator, still the aviator needs to improve leather finishes on seats, they are very poor on quality ‼️
