so glad there are videos like this on youtube, I'm thinking of riding across australia soon but need to make sure my bikes in good order first, started getting a bit of vibration and some delayed acceleration about a week ago, i suspect it has something to do with the belt/clucth etc, not sure if the belt needs replacing though as its only been 10,000 kms since i got a mechanic to do it for me last ?, this time though I'm hoping to do the work myself as I'm sick off being robbed by the service shops lol ;)
I change my belt at 20.000 klm and look like a new no big difference to the new, well I pay $220.00 CAN for the belt and $100.00 CAN for the mechanic I think like that belt can last for a least 5000 to 8000 more klm
@@Lorddarthvader1701 i see so many doing it harder than it has to be. So i think I'm gonna make a very short video just showing how it's done much easier :)
This series is really great. I watch my list to see when each one is posted.
Glad to help. I found the title sometimes works a lot better than the tags for people finding your videos.
Thank You for the comment Chuck..You were right about the title part, got people from other countries contacting me on the Yamaha Majesty...

I use a wine bottle cork, rubber/synthetic ones work the best. It falls out easily once the CVT is reassembled.
