@@rebeccamcvey8600 I'm a little confused, but that's okay. But I am taking a lot for granted with this point. However, this is a great song I Love It.

Btw, the reason Barry sounded different at the beginning is because the audio on his side wasn't real clear. There's another video out there of this same performance that is a lot clearer and he sounds like normal, well normal for him.... impossible for the rest of us lol. Also, on the other video, he does that long drawn out falsetto 2x at the end. He is freaking awesome! ;)

@@susanhunter7124 No apology needed, and I spend way to much time on here myself lol. I was focused on the "excuses" part because I had seen another video of the same performance posted by someone else but it was a different angle and the sound quality was a lot better. No hard feelings I hope? And I apologize if I came across as to bluntly, that just happens sometimes.
I've heard that too but not from any of the Bee Gees. It doesn't really sound like it addresses brotherly love to me. Wish You Were Here is the only song his brothers ever said they wrote for him although they always dedicated a song to him at their concerts. Perhaps at one point they dedicated this one and that is how the rumor began. I've read different things about Andy's potentially joining the Bee Gees but one was that Barry, close as he was to Andy, said it wouldn't happen until Andy was clean and sober. I often wondered if the reason Andy was with Robin in England instead of with Barry in Miami was that the ways to go astray available in Thame, Oxfordshire at teetotaler Robin's medieval fortress were quite a bit less than in Miami where temptation was around every corner. Andy found the one thing that was available unfortunately.
@@beeharbourI watched several specials on the Bee Gees life and on at least 2 of them, they said that they had been helping Andy write a few songs for a new album and someone over in England had heard some of the work and they wanted Andy to go to England to work with them so the brothers decided since Robin had that big place over there that Andy should go and stay with him to work on the album. He stayed in a small place off the to the side of the main residents. That way he would be away from the atmosphere that he had been in and he also would have Robin right next door for any assistance or encouragment he might need. Sadly he went into a depression and that led to him drinking again and he ended up having severe chest pain. He was taken to the hospital right after his 30th birthday. He was there for a couple of days and then the Dr. Asked him if they could do more testing and draw more blood. He said yes and his mother said that Dr went to order the work done and Andy took his last breath. He died from myochardidas. An inflammation of the muscle around his heart. 💔😔

Those are my two favorites also!
It seems prophetically written, as Barry IS now "alone."
The Bee Gee's never did any covers. This song is written by the brothers.
If you haven't done already.... please check out " I could not love you more " by bee gees x
If you want to hear them rock out, take a look on the live recording of "She Keeps on Coming". It was released on their last album in 2001.
Yes!
Robin was fabulous ❤❤
Rip beautiful sweet man 🙏🌠💕
I just discovered your channel. Here's a fun note. The Bee Gees wrote 100 top 10 songs over multiple decades. Many of them were recorded by other artists. They had an even greater passion for songwriting than for performing.
All time favourite song 🎵
Every song they sing is song with passion!
I love Robin's smile at the end.
You really need to watch the one where they singing in New York City just to get a different take on this song, but this is beautiful too.
❤❤❤❤
Maurice songs you'd love: Closer than close, Man in the middle, Hold her in your hand. Enjoying your reactions. Bee Gees medley from Melbourne concert is awesome too.
And Wildflower ❤️❤️❤️
Railroad and The Bridge. My 2 Favorite Mo songs. The Bridge was never released but it is on UA-cam.
@@katie-didellis2437 The Bridge is Mythology. T hey aii picked their wn songs and all 4 have their own CD of their performances with them as Solo or the main lead.
@@rebeccamcvey8600 I'm a little confused, but that's okay. The drinking problems that Moe had and the rehab he went through and some of the stories about the children led me to believe that this song is exactly what it says a bridge between him and his children after rehab. But I am taking a lot for granted with this point. However, this is a great song I Love It.
@@katie-didellis2437 Oops, sorry I meant that this song The Bridge is included on Mo''s songs selection chosen by his family as he had passed away before Robin and Barry produced this compilation, Peta chose for Andy's songs.
He is freaking awesome! ;)
I'm glad you like Barry, because I don't. Quit making excuses for him. Barry stunk here.
@@susanhunter7124 I don't make excuses for anybody. That's your opinion but that doesn't make it more important than anyone else's. Have a nice evening :)
@@shineshine63 You are right. I apologize for giving my opinion.
@@shineshine63 I have too much free time, and need to get off UA-cam and keep my opinions to myself. Sorry.
I’ve heard this was written after Andy as a tribute.
Andy was supposed to record the One album them but passed away before they could do it. So sad. RIP Andy, Maurice and Robin 🙏🏻❤️
They write their own songs.
This was written by Robin about the relationship between Andy Gibb and Victoria Principle.
