"I beat that guy one time"
So is he supposed to fight him again?
To be fair he's the only guy that beat him in UFC.

Alex would do unspeakable things to Izzy at 205

Bud, he isn't right. Pereira had to fight him because Adesanya was a dominant champion with 5 title defences and 7 title wins when he lost the belt at 281. The rematch was always going to happen.
Whereas Pereira lost on his first title defence by brutal KO and hadn't even beaten a single top 5 contender when he fought Adesanya.
But yeah, sure he's right.
Olodo.
@@Obiodum_ He did fight sean strickland before fighting izzy and he finished him via KO. And i think he couldve denied Izzy ghe rematch if he wanted to so theres some argument in that

Alex took all the shine away from adesanya and did the entire sport a favor. Now Alex is the one who people be talking about and could potentially become the GOAT of mma if he defeats Jon jones
As a Pereira fan let's be really honest there is no man in this world close to Jon greatness. That man has been beating the greatest fighters for long long time even a loss would not change this fact, he is 36 now and 2 years not in activity so this comparison doesn't make any sense
@@scoriondark94nah man, anyone who pays real attention knows that Jon had very convenient matchups his entire career. I mean he's really only fought like 3 guys that were similar in size to him and only 2 of them could grapple decently. Ironically those 2 are also the toughest fights of his whole career that many people believe he shouldn't have won. And that's not bringing up all the cheating from him, which definitely takes away from his potential greatness.
GSP is already cemented as the true goat. DJ is the only one with a serious argument against him, but he didn't take 3 years off and come back to beat the sitting champ of the division above his.....
@scoriondark94 Are you forgetting that this would make Alex a champion in three different weight classes? Including being heavyweight champion of the world. Please do not call yourself a fan of Alex with your ridiculous take bra
@colecampbell1906 please do not mention DJ bra that’s a farce. Who has DJ ever beaten in his career that was even remotely memorable. He lost to Henry too. DJ won because there aren’t a lot of great fighters at the tiny weight class.
Lmao considered the goat when he hasn’t fought 1 wrestler😂
Love both warriors, but gotta say adesanya does have a point here. I get what he’s saying. He just wanted to prove to himself despite Alex being better, he can still push through and beat him, and that he did so my hat goes off to him.
He was so close many times but he set Alex up good in their last fight by bringing it back to the cage and let Alex think he’s got him again with enough time on the clock to finish that skating lesson he been trying to teach him but never could finish. But, he can never get Alex like that again because that is the only scenario that he can catch Alex except when the fight was stopped as a TKO.
Izzy had his moments, but Anderson was light years ahead in terms of skills and accomplishments
I definitely would comment 3-2 😂

MMA is a hate filled sport.
You have Strickland, Covington and McGregor that all carry themselves like deplorables yet they're loved and championed whilst the ones I named above are vehemently hated.

Every black fighter you mentioned was either cocky, arrogant, or both. Strickland is like because he says his truth, like him or not he believes in what he says and respects people who deserve respect. Covington is NOT loved lol that’s how I can tell you’re delusional, the vast majority of mma fans hat Colby after his Leon Edward’s fight and press conference. Mcgregor was loved because he brought excitement to the sport and got 3 belts , had a badass untouchable aura, nowadays many people don’t like him for good reason, so that’s another cope from you. I do agree about your last point though, the vocal minority is extremely racist in mma which it’s disgusting to see, but you have to remember most mma fans aren’t on UA-cam comment sections talking shit to each other, we are the hardcore fans so of course our opinions are more controversial
I think one more fight to settle the ufc trilogy is needed. Winner takes all, the kickboxing losses only matter in kickboxing not mma.
Terrible take. The image of Adesanya needing an oxygen tank will not be so easily dismissed. Adesanya’s time is over
Ur right it’s either that or they trade wins and losses for what’s left of their careers but ppl are fking dumb. If Izzy beats him again u alrdy know what’ll happen, if he loses they’ll shit on him for it even harder. Lose Lose situation
Nah. I mean it would be cool but it's already been settled and Adesanya lost. Time ran out and he managed to win one time of four encounters. tbh pereiras recovery is insane at 185 given how much he was cutting. The dude was out on his feet at the end of that round after cutting like 40lbs and still managed to come back composed and alert
Tbh dj looks like a d rider right here “he’s done it his whole career in kickboxing” bro Alex was not getting rocked every fight 😂
Anderson Silva is middle weight goat, Izzy is good but Silva was just different
If be fought him again and won, he'd become a 2 division champion. It was his reason for fighting Jan Blachowicz in the first place. He'd rather forfeit making history with the 2nd belt than risk losing to Poatan again. This is a lot of cope from both DJ and Israel.
You dont think that maybe when he went up to 205 and made weight without even cutting he realised that he cant compete at lhw without being the same weight as the guys hes fighting?
Also why exactly would he chase the guy who he just flat lined? Hes also already made history btw. Getting a second belt adds to that, but failing to get a second belt doesnt take away from it.

Oh did Adesanya personally tell you that?
Everybody with eyes can see that Adesanya is the technically better fighter and has shown that in every single fight they've had together. What has made the difference in the fights is Pereira's power and you know that very well.
There is no way anybody who's honest and watched 281 can truly think Pereira is a technically better fighter.
