So nice to see you Mari! And I can't wait to see you in person at Flock 💞 That rusty/cinnamon Knitting for Olive color is going to look so beautiful on you! Enjoy your trip, and I'll see you in Seattle 👍
I am so so excited you are testing for Briana! I love her patterns so much. Your tank is beautiful! 🤩 and I am also using knitting for Olive cotton merino for the first time, I love it. Now I think making a cloud tee would be fun too! We will see when I have time for that 😂 Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you for sharing your experience with your shorts. I am about to sew the long pant version. I adjusted them by folding and pressing 1” instead of 1/2” for the waist band, and it turned out perfect! Happy sewing & knitting!❤
Have fun on your holiday! Hope you get a bit of knitting done along the way! Lol! Love your new lace top and the one you are wearing. That new Moonstruck Knits shawl is going to be beautiful. I struggle so much with picking out colours and can never seem to make up my mind. I am very envious of those who have great colour sense and the confidence to make a decision. Flock Fiber Festival will be great fun. I think volunteering will be a great way to be part of the action and keep you from spending too much. I find that if I have a job to do, I don’t feel as shy and awkward, and the interactions are more natural and fun. I hope to make it to Flock some day, as I live in the B.C. interior and Seattle is only about 7 hours away and I have a cousin (who knits) that lives in a suburb of Seattle. Right now, our Canadian dollar is so low that buying in the US is very pricey- add about 37 cents on every dollar. Yikes! A good time for Americans to come to Canada- you save almost 40 cents on the dollar. I am busy knitting the Turtle Dove Cardi for my eldest daughter’s 50th birthday next month. It’s a fun knit and knits up quickly. It will keep her warm on cold winter days in her home office in Northern Alberta.
Always nice to see what you are creating Mairi. Your Love Letter tank top is Beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us. Have a great trip! 🥰🇨🇦Sharon.

Ooo I’ll try that for my next pair
@@ColoradoKnitter yes, simple easy fix!
Just be mindful of the length in the inseam, as it might pull it up a bit.
Hi! I am attending Flock this year, too, and I would love to meet you! Not going to evening event, but will be there on Saturday😊
Yay! Hope to meet you ❤️

I love your message! I feel the same way about having a job to do. Like at a party, please please give me a job :)
You are so brave meeting new people! I hope you’ll have a great time!!
I hope so too!
My yarn for the Clint shawl arrived yesterday, I decided on linen quill. I’ll send you a picture
Ahhh can’t wait to see your colors. Was hard to choose!
The simmer dim tank…. Do you think knitting for olive in the silk, or the cotton merino?
Yes I do think Knitting for Olive would work. I’ve only worked with the pure silk but I imagine both have great stitch definition
Are you going to Knit City Calgary this year ! My husband and I are going.
No not this year! Enjoy! I’m sure it’s gonna be great
