This was an absolute joy to watch… I appreciate you sharing about the New Mexico Wildfires and sending love and support. Also, I love all your projects!! I can’t wait to see your shorts and your Tunisian crochet adventure! ❤
Mari, can't wait to see your shorts as I'd love to find a good pattern. Congratulations on conquering your first granny squares! The Jethro or Ariana cardigan might be in your future. After your last podcast, I was inspired to cast on my own Love Letter as I've had the design in my queue since release. I'm finishing the hem while watching your podcast. Happy knitting!
I so enjoy watching your podcasts! Thank you for sharing your lovely work with us. I have been spending a lot of time knitting summer tops/tanks lately. Currently, I am knitting a top called the Summer Structure T-shirt. I am crocheting a shawl called Malay and Tunisian crocheting a shawl called The Sizzle Shawl, as well.…so many great patterns so little time!😂 Have a great week!
Absolutely so glad i found you thanks to Mariel! Loved this video and about to catch up! Im glad to hear about the Poppy bc i was just trying to decide if i wanted to make it. I really have been wanting to try that shoulder construction. Have a great weekend!
I knit exactly the same way you do with your color work. I even use coco knits stitch markers to separate each section. Works perfect for Colorwork charts. I love all of your projects!
Do the Jethro! I felt the same way about crochet/granny squares as you. Now, having made the Jethro, I feel a lot more confident. The seaming was the most time consuming part. ❤
Always enjoy seeing your projects, thanks for sharing. The Love Letter top is so tempting. I'm trying to finish up my Rota sleeveless top before starting another tank.
I’m so glad to have found your podcast! You are a very talented knitter, and your projects are stunning, thank you for sharing. I’ve done crochet but I still consider myself a somewhat beginner. My favorite crocheter is Sandra Paul of the Cherry Heart Podcast, excellent granny square tutorials.
All of your work is stunning and so inspiring. I am a new knitter - calling myself an adverturous beginner (LOL). Just finished my first Flax Sweater and can't wait to start something new. I have been crocheting for years and find knitting so much harder - I guess it's what you're used to. But I love this journey of learning new crafts just wish I had done it when I was younger - there is so much I want to make! Thanks!
I learnt by Mikey from the Crochet Crowd and Toni from TL Yarn Crafts - both on youtube. I haven't moved on from Granny squares, hope when I find the time. Loved your new tank. Currently on my needles are: Autumn Leaves Linier Top, a Musselburgh hat, Twists of Fae hat, and a mitered sqaure blanket which is a charity knit using up scraps.
Thanks again for another great podcast your knit’s are amazing . I used to tunesian crochet potholders when I was little and saw that blanket as well . I’m going to watch the tutorial and start it as my blanket project this year 😊
I am making the Jethro. I am new to crochet too and watched many videos. I have finished and assembled all my grannies it wasn’t so bad and I was pleasantly surprised my gauge was on. I did have to go up to a 4mm but it fits ! I am ready to just knit the sleeves and ribbing. Your colors are lovely and I think you should keep going it will be stunning! Thanks for sharing your makes , enjoy your podcast very much !
@@ColoradoKnitter I was nervous about how the crochet would go so I used all scraps from previous projects. Mine is very scrappy! I used 10 or 11 different color ways. Every square is different.
Both the sweater you are wearing and the new love letter tank are wonderful. So exciting! I am not an experienced knitter but your work is inspiring me to think about doing more.
I really enjoyed your podcast. I have been to the knitting shop in Edwards. We live in Pennsylvania. We vacation Ed in Colorado last fall. Keep in trying crochet. You are doing great
Great episode Mari...you have been busy. Your tanks look great. I am a crocheter and have made the "Granny square cardigan" a few years ago. I am "5doodles" on Ravelry if you want to check my project page. I am working on my second Atwixt sweater. I loved the first one i just finished and need to make another in a heavier worsted weight yarn. I am using my all time favourite wool called Briggs and Little out of New Brunswick, Canada. Enjoy your Summer! 🥰🇨🇦Sharon.
I, too, am really wanting to try crochet, specifically granny squares. I watched a Stephen West tutorial on crocheting a granny square for a blanket pattern he has with a giant granny square in the middle with multiple knitted borders surrounding it. Oh wow! That is so cool that you have been there !
I have learned to crochet last summer but I have yet to try crocheting granny squares to make the Ariana cardigan.
❤❤❤
i love that Ariana cardigan
Awesome knits, I am working on slyphe shawl, garden sweater, and salty days sweater, socks patterns from happysipknits.
Oooo those are all amazing patterns! I am also interested in Slyphe!

Sounds great!
Where are you in Colorado? I’m in Highlands Ranch. Just found your podcast.😊
Yes ! I’m in the springs ❤️❤️❤️
You are the best! What yarns are you using for your Marie wallet sweater?
It is her British Breed Marie Wallin yarn. I bought the kit from The Wooly Thistle
@@ColoradoKnitter I love it, you’ve got great taste
