Actually the first part can also be done with the keyboard. You can just use the insert command to have all the clips in the time line. To organize the clips you can mark the clips with in and out (i believe there's a command that does that in one button) then lift or extract and then paste insert (all of this are shortcuts) also i believe you can change the track where you want things to be pasted
Does anyone know how to upload or download a video clip of the timeline? That is, select a video fragment with the left click and drag it to another place. That is so simple with the mouse but doing it with the keyboard?
Any one know how to hear audio moving the keyboard? to set the in point base in bit or audio? I use a lot but for any reason my setting was change and I can't put back I need to hear the audio when I move frame by frame with the keyboard. Need Help!!!!
editing audio right now for a project, in my source window how do I play in to out for an audio selection, it has the shortcut for video, but that is not working for me since my content is only audio right now. Tks
May I ask if D cannot work on my premiere, where can I set it in the short cut? The select clip of current playhead? Or any alternative using keyboard?
Do you mean change speed or duration of a clip? If that's the case go to keyboard shortcuts settings and search for 'speed-duration-. Don't remember what the default is but you'll find it there and you can rebind it to whatever you want
up and down arrow keys move from one edit to the next. Hold Alt and left/right keys will move the selected clip one frame. Alt Shift Right/Left moves them several frames
Haha are you talking about my outro? Yah, I say that after every video. The problem is that I have memorized it, so my body can say it really fast. However, I lose all pronunciation when I say it fast, which blends it all together haha.
This what I always say. Stop using the mouse. Couple of my favorite custom keys are E for enable. And S for Speed. But you had a couple I hadn’t seen. Nice work.
All this is great but since Premiere by default do it's things vertically downwards through all (selected in some times, in other not) tracks, I would say that the editing functions via shortcuts are almost unusable if you have more tracks than like one or two (which often are four since the audiotracks are there too). And who edits in a world with such a few tracks? Yes, you can put shortcuts to toggle video/audiotracks, but then this starts to take to long time to be useable for real. My point is that if Adobe would make edit types like trim/roll/slip/and so on working ONLY on the selected clip's track - THEN we are talking. Then this would be extremely powerful. But Adobe don't want to do this. There is a lot of tickets sent to Adobe in this matter that are many years old, but still - nothing. Just sayin'. But for tiny projects with only a few tracks - this is great. Keep it up!
You missed the most important ones "Q" and "W"
lonrot?
Q+W is heaps handy! Thanks!!
Dios.. contratame como editor vos, busco trabajo
Do you mind enabling auto-generated captions on this video?
At the beginning, instead of dragging the clips in with the mouse, you can just press "." or "," to insert or overwrite into the timeline.
Great tip! That would basically make everything fully keyboard! :D
CTRL + K saves so much time! Thanks.
plz provide Subtitles, Can't understand Some Keys.....
Fount what I was looking for. The Trim Forward/Backward function. 😍
Happy to help!! Thanks for watching :D!!

Question : How do you move on the timeline a video block one frame to the right or left - without the mouse? only keyboard.
up and down arrow keys move from one edit to the next. Hold Alt and left/right keys will move the selected clip one frame. Alt Shift Right/Left moves them several frames
Good one
What happened in the end? Did you have a stroke?
Haha are you talking about my outro? Yah, I say that after every video. The problem is that I have memorized it, so my body can say it really fast. However, I lose all pronunciation when I say it fast, which blends it all together haha.

Why you have so low subs Sir? You should have 800k Subs because your vids are sick and unique.
can someone make a similar one for mac? my god i cant find any!!!
Most of the buttons should be the same, with all ctrl key's being replaced with the command key.
This what I always say. Stop using the mouse. Couple of my favorite custom keys are E for enable. And S for Speed. But you had a couple I hadn’t seen. Nice work.
Thanks! Yah, using only the keyboard reduces so many hand movements. Can literally save hours in a week!

I think they're meant to be used while locking the other tracks if you're only aiming to edit one thing at a time. Hope this helps!
nice video. BUT YOU FORGOT THE MOST BASIC AND GREAT SHORTCUT!!!
try it and be astonised! Q and W
make sense
Stepped away from my Avid to take a look at Premiere "Pro."
Yep. Still garbage.
No Ripple Trim Edit to Playhead? Not a valid tutorial.
