- Today in Proyectos Los Carnales we go over how to do a 03-06 front end conversion on the 99-02 GMC Sierra’s. We didn’t find many videos on this so we figured we could make a quick one to help someone out looking to do this conversion since we can all admit it does give it a well deserved face lift. Along with this we actually go over what has been going on with La Piñata since last time we saw it it got a make over and is sitting clean. One of the cleanest RST clones out there.

What if I have a 03 yukon and cut the frame brackets off the 05 sierra with the bumper could I just weld them onto my frame and use both bolt hole?

Where did you guys get the hd conversion bumper valance ?
I did 2 inches instead of 1.5 back that way the bottom plastic matches the panel line
This affect the line up of the other bolts?

Bro I got an 05 the previous dude put a Denali front end. I’m trynna throw a HD bumper and a regular “3 bar” grill. The one with out the 1 inch “trim”. It should all fit in smooth right?
If it’s an 05 it should unless for some reason they cut the brackets on the truck bro

For this grille you don’t need to but the HD that has the extra pad on the bottom you do

Brackets are pushed down when doing the hd conversion so you’ll have to fix that

Do you know if the 03-06 GMC front end will fit the 99-03 Silverado? Because I noticed that the Silverado’s of those years are a little differently size from fender to the headlights. Anything will help because I’m still new to all of this
You need fenders and hood they all have different curves for the headlights the sierras then the 99-03 Silverado and then the cat eyes 04-07 so whichever front end you want to go with get the fenders and hood that match
@@proyectosloscarnales4512 That makes sense now actually. But I’m assuming the headlights go in perfectly if I was to do the Sierra front end right? Because I wouldn’t mess with the electrical?
They use the same headlight bulbs so you would not need to mess with the electrical 👍🏽

Hi, it’s a HD hood that usually comes in the 99-02 Chevy Silverado 2500/3500’s. You can buy them to fit the Sierra’s or if it’s an oem you will have to cut out the edges for the lights to fit the hood.

No as long as u cut around the light close it will have straight clean lines

Brackets might look different than the ones in the video. Depends the year but if the bracket looks the same then yes
Does a Silverado front clip clip right on a sierra ?
yes the front clip will bolt on but you need to change out the core support hood and fenders along with the rest of the Silverado parts
You think it will be the same things with a Sierra 06 to covert to a Denali
No, I have a Denali front end on my Sierra and I did not have to cut the brackets. You can see my frame brackets at 6:30 to see they are original only thing you have to move are the clips where the grille clips into. My truck is a ‘01

fog lights came with the bumper we just purchased a new led bulb and wiring harness in a local shop but you should be able to pull up a harness and bulb you like on amazon
Don’t use screw driver and pry on fender will bend fender

so you just changed the GRILL & BUMPER... not the 2006 FENDERS and HOOD
Correct the hood however is from a 2001 Silverado hd

@@proyectosloscarnales4512 I have 39 years Auto Body... I own a few of these trucks 1999-2007 GMC & CHEV and parts can be confusing.... I put a used white 2001 Chev fender on my deer hit white 2004 GMC and didn't know it was different til I closed the hood without headlight installed.... I cut the 2001 Chev fender marking it with tape from the damaged 2004 fender and cut it so the headlight fit.... NO one notices it unless I point it out to them.... I hit the Deer doing 80mph and had to go to the wreckers and with a Dewalt Saws All and cut the frame ends off a wrecked frame to get the Bumper mounts Cleaned them up and welded like factory would...
so, you got rid of the head rests, which help with whiplash in an accident, you got rid of the shoulder belts, for lap belts which help you in keeping from lurching forward. I wish you all the best in a bad accident........
over all its a nice truck but the lap belt seatbelts is not a smart move. but its not my truck so you do you
