Didn’t realise that in RL driving the engine break on the stalk is used as much. It seems it is not in the RL videos I have watched so far.
As in the actual engine brake or the retarder that is on the stalks? The retarder is commonly used a fair bit, and the engine brake comes on automatically when your foots off the accelerator pedal in some modern trucks, NG Scanias especially
Talking about the brakes on the stalks. My understanding is that it is only used on long downhills to avoid overheating the brakes. Normally only the auto engine retarder is in play.
Yeah, there’s nothing wrong with using the retarder more often though, it saves brake linings etc

No it’s just a normal job from the cargo market, you’ve just gotta be lucky with it going to Hawes Marketplace, it doesn’t happen often

Driving is okay, more or less, given the right-hand drive )) But the picture is very backlit, wasn't it visible before publication, I don't understand how you can like it, there is no contrast, as if they turned the brightness to maximum on the monitor, the realism of the image disappears....
It’s probably because of the reshade, along with the combination of JBX and PNG that makes it that way

Yeah I know, don’t know of a way of changing it to the same as the unit other than Trucky, which I hardly use

No, you can’t get mods to work in TMP, only in the ETS2 Convoy mode

Is this place an exact replica of the place? Add a pin from google. He didn’t get out and check the nearside on reversing.
It’s pretty close to the real life Hawes I believe, right streets and the shops etc. indeed I didn’t get out and check things, however there is a new freshly recorded Stobart video in this place coming soon, which should be even more realistic!
Time keeping must be a pain with all that traffic............

How did you walk outside of your truck? If it is a mod where do I get it?
It’s the Dev Console mode. Search dev mode on UA-cam, Squirrel has a good video on how to set it up
One more thing: reversing looking back out of the window like this, would not be the way you’d do in RL. You were not able to check the LHS and how close you were to the wall. You would have used the mirrors more. Furthermore, you could have used the corner mirror to judge the distance to the wall forward near the end;)
Yeah I know, it can be a nightmare reversing in game sometimes, let alone reversing into that yard

Yeah it’s PNG and JBX2, along with a reshade

Not sure, it depends a lot on your PC, even with the same spec you get different graphic results

There is still a few about, a lot of the wag+drag combos left in the Stobart livery too, dont think any have been moved to Culina livery

You need the RJL Scania off Steam workshop for a start, and a legit copy of Euro Truck Simulator 2 off Steam as well.
