5 years and still no other playlist could match the quality of Varun Sir's teachings! Hats OFF!!
But still some missing 😢
Watched at midnight before exams and scored good marks in Dbms.
Sir, you are a dronacharya.
me also, brother, this guy is awesome

Hi, 1 day before i really didn't know anything about DBMS, Today i wrote DBMS university exam quite well, I thought DBMS will become Back log, Thanks for your understanding tutorials. I watched all playlish of DBMS. A very big thumbs up for you!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌
Bhai aise nahi karte. Aise kar ke exam to clear kr loge lekin kuch seekh nahi paoge dost. Yaad rakhna bhai.
I'm also applying just like yours strategy for studies since my 1st semester...and it's really workfull...only day befor exams, preparation of the whole sllybus by watching UA-cam toturials.
@@salmanbehen4384You cant speak for him, Exam se ek din pehle padhkr pass hona bhi ek skill h...Aksar toppers jo pure zindagi grind krte bethte sirf ek job ke liye - 90% laate aur last night vale 70%..
Statistically, They are doing much better and have a lot more time to build practical skills which will help them earn money
2 hour before exam 😅
How you covered all in one day before 🥲
Need tips
U got a good grip over Computer Science subject's.Watched all ur videos on computer architecture,Operating system and now DBMS thanks for all the stuff Really ur simply Awesome...
If there was an option of 1000 likes, i would have given you. You rocked.
Thank you so much for your love and support.
@Gate Smashers today i caught one mistake in the explanation at 6:12 . if prime attribute determines non-prime then it will not be in 3NF cause it fails to be in 2NF (prime att. is proper subset of CK). ref:Lec 29
@@pintusaini6838 a non prime attribute can be determined by a prime attribute but it can't cause partial dependency hence in the above example roll no is the proper subset and there is no partial dependency so it is in 2NF
@@pintusaini6838 yes bruh u r right there is a mistake " if prime attribute which is also part of a candidate key either we can say proper subset of candidate key
Determines non prime attribute then it will create partial dependency and due to partial dependency a normal form can't in 2 NF so not be in 3NF" but sir us saying it will be in 3NF
@@dynamicsid8795 In the above example roll no. is not a proper subset of candidate key (it is a subset), therefore the above relation is in 2 NF.
Jo humare teachers poora semester padhkr samza nai pate, wo exam k ekdin pehel ye videos dhekkr samaj jata hai ;_; ...Big fan sir!
kal wali exam pass hone ka poora credit ye bhai ko

ma na itni videoz dekhi lekin samaj srf in videoz s ahi u r so great tutor.... God bless u Ameen
you really, are doing a great job sir. hats off to you !!!
Sir how come prime attribute presence in LHS of functional dependency meant that the relation will be in 3NF .If so then it will prove partial dependency and thus violating 2NF .I only understood the presence of candidate keys or super key obtained from candidate keys presence in LHS
prime attribute is in rhs
@634_Abinash mishra Bro did you understand it now??
first of all it can't violate 2NF because it has passed the test of 2NF . After testing for 2NF it has come for 3NF.. Here condition of 3NF is only for that F. D which are already in 2Nf.
Amazing ❤️ Explanation with accurate example
In the students table, a NPA(City) is being determined by another NPA(State). Isn't it the violation of first rule and you can conclude that it is not in a 3NF?
Only one word EPIC!!! The ease with which you teach is remarkable Sir!
If a prime attribute can determine a nonprime attribute in 3NF that means that there exists a partial dependency (Becuase every prime attribute is always a proper subset of candidate key itself) and it violates 2NF. Please clear this.
I didn't understand......
yes i guess you are saying correct, it violates 2nf and therefore also 3nf
For 3NF , one condition is that the relation should be in 2NF , if a relation is in 2NF then primary key of relation would be whole candidate key
Left hand side should be candidate key or super key it means it violates the rule of proper subset case
If Rhs is prime attributes , not LHS
Explained a complex topic in a very easy format, Thanks.
thank you so much sir..this is very helpful for placement point of view also
Just one word " Superb" teaching!!🙌🙌
🤩Such a excellent teaching skill you have!!!
Thank you, sir I have watched DBMS videos one day before the exam and I had got clear that exam

Great 👍👍👍 how much data you get daily 😂
First download the playlist and then keep watching👍
The way you explain sirjii love you from Indore ❤️
You should explain why it is a problem if there is a non prime attribute determine a non prime attribute. Your explanation will be helpful for us. Thank you sir

Sir, you have great teaching skills Thank you so much, Sir
Very good work you are doing and helping many GATE aspirants. Thank you sir. Wish this good work by you helps you further in your career.
Sir but if a relation is in 2nd normal form having a npa determining a npa then how will we remove transitive dependency to convert the relation into 3rd normal form.
you are the best teacher of the generation.
Sir apne Jo table me state and city liya hai wo to nonprime to fir unme se koi ek prime kaise banega aur wo kaise 3rd NF main kahelayega?

Thank you so much for making these videos. Really helpful and easy to understand. :)
what if rollno and state together is a candidate key and FD contains rollno --> city will it be in 3nf as is has do not have transitive dependency?
I am from vellore institute of Technology, studying CSE, 1st year, I have dbms paper tomorrow, watched all my relevant syllabus, now I am confident ☺
first year me dbms???
@@asutoshghanto3419 VIT Ka launda h Bhai vo AKTU ya IP Ka nhi 🤣

But thankyou so much sir
Mujhe starting me DBMS itna hard lga tha fir maine UA-cam par video dekhi or apki videos first time me hi smjh aa gyi......
Thanks a lot sir🙏🙏
sir I have one doubt that you didnt checked for the relation to be in 2nd Normal Form before checking 3NF
Excellent perfect 👌 i save my time
Your teaching method is too good sir
aap ko bahot bahot dhyabadh , mujhe normal forms nahi samajh aaraha tha aap ke video ne clear kar diya , me nepal se hu aapko bahut sara dhyawadh
No one in world have a skill, how to teach computer science?your the beauty of sir Varun Singh.
Best channel for gate preparation 😌
Thanks brother 🙏🙏🙏🙏
One of the best Lecturer I have studied from ....you are awesome Varun sir
You are a great sir 👍🏼💯💯
if {roll no, state} is a candidate key, it can determine City. City can be defined by state alone and can be partially dependent on state right...so how is it in 2NF to be 3NF
Sir how does the table state and city structure looks after applying 3NF?
great job by cameraman too
Teaching techniques is very unbelievable ❤😮🥰🔥
thnku sir...aa gya smaj
Gud command on these topic
well done sir understandable lecture
15:46 instead of checking LHS for CK/SK , would it not be enough to check ONLY RHS to be PA ? That is, If RHS is a PA, then the table is in 3NF. Therefore, why should we check LHS at all ?
Just wow 🔥
Since i found this channel i am fully afraid of how to pass dbms after listening to ur lecture i have full confidence on getting good marks as well as knowledge.
Thank u sir☺️
00:05 Third Normal Form and Transitive Dependency
02:03 Roll number is determining the city using the transitive property.
04:03 Transitive dependency and candidate keys
06:07 The table is in Second Normal Form and the candidate key is ABD.
08:09 AB and DB are the candidate keys
10:13 A is helping, B is helping, and D is helping.
12:29 A table is in third normal form if it does not contain any transitive dependency.
14:29 To be in Third Normal Form, either the left hand side of each functional dependency should be a candidate key or super key, or the right hand side should be a prime attribute.

Thank you so much sir for your hard work #saviour
too good way of teaching..Allah bless u..and give u more and more you deserve...
Thank you for your love and wishes
