- Hello and welcome back to Transport Fever 2!
We're back in East Yorkshire today where we're going to finally be taking an in depth look at the passenger routes we have, and how we can start to deal with some of the absolutely chronic overcrowding we're facing on some of our services.
We'll be replacing trains, cutting routes, as well as seeing if we can get our heads around this seemingly complicated "Timetables" mod. Maybe that'll help our trains space themselves out!

The clock next to the timetable button shows what the timetable is following, 30 minutes is 30 minutes real life time, so if you set unbunch to 5 minutes, or a few minutes above the frequency of the service, it'll unbunch correctly, having the train stop for a while at the stations. hope this helps.
You should build a pointless tiny station across the river from hull, have only the pacers stop here and serve it in just 1 direction.
So we can have Geoff Marshall come there and make a least used station video 😂😂
For the timetable mod: you should instead use the “unbunch” function and set the time to the frequency of the line (shown above the station list). The way you have set it up, is that the trains are gonna wait 5 real life minutes and they refuse to go into the station until the arrival time.
It takes a bit to take effect, but it did work for me
Please read this Joe
Me every Monday:
I hope in todays video Joe actually upgrades the track to high speed and finds out how to use the timetable mod.
for the mark 3 vans you would prefer searching in "everything" page since most of such rolling stock is sitting there like GWR toad break van's
Great video as usual Joe. There's an option to sort by date at the top of the buying trains menu - it may make finding the DVTs and other newly unlocked trains easier. (Also, please do keep the 90s on the express route - they are far too underappreciated in my opinion, being overshadowed by the 43s and 91s).
Privatisation will be interesting
If you fancy a bit of 125mph running you could change the York to hull express from class 90 to a 91 (intercity 225), although I prefer a class 90
23:35 😂😂 tomato soup 😂😂
what you need to do is set the arrival departure times up for every 20 minutes for departure, as that will ensure that if a train leaves the station and there is another train on the same line also in the station, it will wait 20 minutes for the next departure time, and the clock in the UI is minutes:seconds. if you choose to unbunch id recommend 5 minutes at most, otherwise the trains will just sit in the platform doing nothing, which as you saw at Hull will massively congest that station as there will be a train sat in a platform that another train could use
Class 90s! WooHoo!!
time table mod is very simple. You confused minutes with hours and looking from your perspective you were making the trains wait 30 hours to unbunch.
XX:YY
X=min
Y=sec
Imagine this but towards the south west of the uk. Great video
Get sole variety on the lines! You don’t need 3 pacers on 1 line, have a 142, a 155 and a 156 on the same route instead of 3 of the same train!
Need to get some 155s and 156s.
How about a 158-155 combo as well?!
Joe, you should get the realistic capacity mod because it solves all of your problems.
It would solve the overcrowding but then the network wouldn’t be as busy or fun 😭
I cannot wait to see LNER Class 800s on the York to Hull Express! Have to wait to about 2018 though 😥.
Sup Joe! So, i think you should try increasing the 150 and 142 coaches on Mainline routes up to 4 - 6 cars, since i think it'll increase capacity (On Shuttle lines it isn't necessary i think. Also, i think it might help reduce congestion on some stations. Not sure to be honest)
Hey Joe Gotta ask could you try and drive/buy the XC route from Gloucester to Birmingham New street?
13:36 one of the 86’s are missing
Good Joe
Get some 155s on!
can believe you have not put the Class 91 Flagship on your Hull to York Queens Annoyed service wit a class 90 instead of a DVT
Joe please re build hull’s station building
The 91 went past selby but not like that
what is the map size you use becasue when i play transport fever i seem to run out of room
Joe please can we have double unit 158
The 90s are good enough but your on thin ice…
can u use the tyne and wear metro livery for the pacers
also why not have a metro system at york
Hello Joe, I love the transport fever 2 uploads.
Side note: Please do away with the timetable mod.
Don't use the timetable mod
