Ya, welcome to your new addiction lol. I started with camera drones, but now i love building & flying FPV drones. Tip: Keep sunlight out of the goggle screens, because the sun will burn little dots ruined 1 already.

I'm glade I found your channel, I have the mini 3 pro as well. I'm wanting a fpv with dji 03 air unit, I do have the Avata I use the fpv 2 controller with the Integra goggles. I'm looking forward into watching
hi i have a problem on betaflight, when i set up the receiver, throttle yaw pitch and roll are on the correct letters but when i roll or pitch the drone keeps spinning, how can i fix that? thank you
i use the mini 3 for work (roof inspections) and the fpv drone for fun basically but those two are very far apart with what they can do and what it takes to fly them
good choice on a first fpv quad, i have one of those it’s pretty sweet. That thing can rip. Soon you will be building your own and spending all the money haha. you will probably want to get a hobby grade radio and receiver eventually (elrs, crossfire, etc). the dji radio has tiny ass gimbals and will limit you a bit . fine for now though
Nice!! Keep it it up! Just an FYI, try not to let the sun hit the lens of your goggles.. it’ll fry the screens and leave black spots - just seen another comment like this 😂 have you got a sim? Tried the DJI virtual flight app! It’s not quite full feature as lift off but worth the go.
I assume you are flying in Angle mode and not Acro? I got a Mini 3 Pro recently and want to get into FPV. I've started practicing in sims in Rates / Acro mode to learn how to fly FPV in Acro. I've been debating goggles for weeks and finally just bit the bullet and got the Goggles 2 with Motion 2. I went this route so I could fly my Mini 3 Pro with Goggles, too, and I liked the built in diopter adjustment in the Goggles 2, in case my wife or others want use them. I plan to use ELRS for the radios. I'm learning to fly in sims using a Radiomaster Zorro. I'll check for more of your videos to see how it's coming along.
Beta flight is a lot to take in a first. I haven't had to do much on there other than change my switch to full acro mode. It was in a "level mode" when I first got it. And yes bnf
@@thedronegame Betaflight actually doesn't have to be so bewildering. There's probably a lot of areas in BF you'll never have to mess around in, but you should make the effort eventually, to understand what everything is there to function for you as, should you need it. Two words: JOSHUA BARDWELL.
Any landing you do that doesn’t require repair of the quad is a good landing. Learn to fly it low and slow, when you get it where you want it, just chop the power. You are doing good. 😊
@@thedronegame i use a different approach. turning off constant AIRMODE and lay that on a switch makes starts and landings super easy. if you come in for landing just turn AIRMODE off with a button and the quad wont jump around like crazy. in my mind i treat it as "landing gear" which i flip a switch after launch and flip that again right before landing. saved me so many times because i often fly while sitting in car and start/land on car roof. you cant do that if you love your car and just let it drop. i saw a glimpse of those sweet rims which tells me you like your car. 😅maybe worth a try.
@@thedronegame thats why i said put AIRMODE on a switch and you can land as soft as the mini 3 does. or even softer. i am landing on my car all the time. zero scratches. and i am insane picky about that.
Nice, you are going the same path i did lol...from cars to drones, i got the Dji Fpv Racer, then bought the Nazgul 5 V2, now i have more then 10 quads...prepare to spend some searious money on this...in the end i think car parts was cheaper hehe...just one note, NEVER let your goggles lens facing the sun, you will burn the Lcd screen from your goggles in one second...i already did it and it sucks...beaware..
whats the main difference going from the dji fpv to the Nazgul? I just broke an arm on the di fpv and im deciding if i should pay to get it repaired or but a nazgul
@@jacobbatterham after i bought the other drones i rarely fly with the Dji Fpv, its much more fun to fly in acro mode without the fear of break the drone, drones like nazgul 5 etc are pretty strong , dont break easy, so you can do more risky moves. now i only use Dji Fpv for cinematic or to put someone else flying it with me. if i was you right now i would buy the Iflight Evoque F5D, you wont see the drone propellers on the goggles, also you have the nazgul 5 v2, diatone F5, Geprc Mark 5, just keep the size of 5 inch quads for the first one. You wont be sorry for sure. after the Dji Fpv i already bought/build 10 drones lool... so you can see that its really cool... i have 3 inch drones, 4 inch, 5 inch, 6 inch and 7 inch. but the ones i prefer its the Flywoo Explorer 4 inch just to explore, the Nazgul Evoque for free style, and the chimera 6 for freestyle/cinematic. Hope this can help you to decide. ohhh..one more thing, the batterys are a looootttt cheaper, i fly more than one or 2 hours with my pack of batterys, the price of one Dji battery you can buy 8 batterys for the normal drones.
@@miguelferreira3180 Thank you so much for the help this will play a big part when deciding! I think the two main things that are sketching me out is the safety features, what are the options if the drone loses signal for example? @@jacobbatterham if you buy a drone with Gps it will have a return to home feacture when you lose signal, it will not be so accurate like Dji but it will bring your drone near you until you regain control, when you start to enter into this type of drones you will find that they are in fact much more fun and also have that safety feactures. Its a learning process, but its easy to get into this "new world" of drones lol... check on youtube for " Betaflight 4.4 return to home" ... its the latest improvement... i made almost 10kms distance with my Rekon 5 drone, about 20kms in total, if the link its lost the drone have gps and the return to home feature like dji... watch some youtube videos about betaflight quads and the express lrs link for the radio. Some guy made 100kms with this radio link and a Fpv Wing...
@@thedronegame I love it but I hate the geo fencing and the remote ID. I use it for real estate and the stability indoors can’t be beat. But I have to check every time I do a job that I can fly in that location and sometimes I am required to apply for permission, even indoors and that’s obnoxious.
@bhosterman oh wow I didn't know it did that. Indoors should be considered private property right? Unfortunately I think the restrictions are only going to get worse
@@thedronegame you would think but in their infinite wisdom and with remote ID a phone has to be connected to the googles in order to take off. They can already prevent you from flying into a restricted area, why not just limit altitude instead? I don’t know. I’d rather have a drone that’s free of these restrictions.
You cant land like that because of airmode. That's why its bouncing. Fly as low as you can and cut off the motors. Thats how I land. And alot more...... Specially with more uptilt of camera

Yeah the mini 3 is definitely my workhorse where the fpv is a beast I'm trying to tame
Does it have Normal and Sport mode?
Or it only has acrobatic mode?
Looked like you wear your glasses under the goggles. How does that work out? I wear glasses also and was wondering if they would fit under there.
