The bridged plexi is the basis for the meshuggah tone, albeit modified by Fortin. Now you need to get the Dirty tree in front of it and get that clanky drop tune tone!
I've got one of those. You can definitely play metal on one. Front end boost and you're there. NB - I like the top left input. This one doesn't have a bright cap, so bridged channels with humbuckers may not be needed.
Hey Brandon, Plexi amps make great pedal platform amps, The Friedman & SUHR plexi don't have FX loops which will cause me & many others to go with the Marshall 1987x that has a FX loop.
That makes a lot of sense! I wonder why they skipped out on the fx loop. They do have a MKii that just came out. I’ll have to look and see if that one does. These are rock machines.
Single channel mid gain amp? Sounds like a perfect win. Just put a SD1 and/or a dimed HM2 (I prefer a HM2>SD1) in front of it with the amp gain up and have the nastiest sound at every show. And no, tone "gurus" it is not just a bunch of noise you just lack critical listening skills.
@@tyrannosaurusriffs lf I were you, I would dodge the Waza craft version. Boss changed things under the hood just enough that the desired effect of the hm2 (chainsaw) does not sound like it should. If you want to save some bones since vintage hm2s can be spendy just get a TC Electronics Eyemaster. It does the thing, just no EQ knobs to play with. Also to get around the noise the best weapon I have encountered is the Boss NS2 since it has a loop in it to more accurately address noise from pedals Wordswordswordswrods
I immediately loved the first clean tone.
Same! I’m glad I tried the sample settings out! Throw some reverb or chorus on that clean and 😮💨
The clean on this amp🤘🏼
@@MilitantMe Marshall style amps know clean better than the others in my opinion!
Suhr is like guaranteed to be great, right?😂🎉
My first Suhr product so I would guess so!!!
@tyrannosaurusriffs sounds great Brandon! Love that Ltd!🎉
@@KillaFXZ thanks homie! I also love that LTD!

Yeah I also realized that’s like the Fortin nameless suite…..my smooth brain. Pretty stoked to make captures of it though!

It’s such a cool amplifier! I was really nervous to pick it up but I’m glad that I did! Super fun.

The amps are replicas. Made in the image of. Not sort of.
Hence no loops! The design doesn’t allow for it
@@tyroneenglish8396 that’s good information! Thank you for sharing!

@@riffsnoleads I really need to grab the HM2. I keep getting more and more people talking to me about it. When I get one I’ll try that out!
