- This ultra light backpacking table can be made in less time than it takes to watch this video. Costs nothing if made from old Estate Agents signs. Compares favorably in performance to similar products that cost top dollar. Provides a stable surface to food prep and generally keep stuff of the ground.

I like the Opinel. Utility and function with that sassy wood handle.
It's ideal for food prep. Light and keeps a good edge. Cheap as chips. Only issue is that it's not legal for everyday carry in the UK due to it locking. However I don't think I would end up on the wrong side of the law if I have a legitimate use for it such as food prep on a hike.
Thanks for watching

This is not the right forum for that discussion. However I wonder what THEY will stop us doing next. 🤷♂️
That's the problem with politicians. Whenever there's a problem they need to be seen to be doing something. Their solutions never address the problem just inconvenience the law abiding.

Soon. There's something in the air.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful idea. I'll be making one of these.😎👍
Thanks for the kind words and for watching.
Very interesting
Glad you think so!
Nice idea.
Glad you like it!
Is it though?
I was really not expecting that, but it looks to be very practical. 🤔Just don't put anything hot down on it. 😅
Wise words, wise words indeed
@@EpicureanHikers oh no sound like its not the first one 😂👍

Not yet but one day. Inevitable really
Fun fact: using a rock, a stump, or even the ground is even better, cheaper, and you don't have to waste space for a piece of garbage. Not entirely sure how this would even be useful vs. a complete waste of space.
Don't do it then.
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment that will raise this video in the algorithm.
If you've ever tipped over your coffemug you'll see a value in this.

I'm always losing stuff in the grass. LOL
there is no such thing as an ultralight table. just use the earth.
If you want to do your food prep on ground that in all probability has been urinated on by a diseased badger I'm not going to stop you.
