Another cracking pond, and great to see a drum to bead with K1 in. This is what I switched to this year. Taking out beads and putting k1 micro in and adding a drum.
@@TimWaddington no way😱, that's a shame, I made him 2 Japanese wooden lanterns last year to display in his garden, unfortunately 1 got damaged in transit but he was very understanding, thats how I got to no him. That's one of the best things in koi keeping, you meet some great people.
Hi Guys what a superb pond, the water looks fantastic, the thing with turbo drains is they tend to lift waste from the bottom up into the water, but saying that I cannot fault his water. Excellent.

Is the drum an alternative to the Nexus? Is there any chance you could do an idiot guide to all this type of equipment. Its very easy to brush over units when everyone knows whats what but a break down of the whys and where fors in a dumbed down way would be nice. ;)
Hey thanks for all these videos I learn a lot. In this video I had learned what poor water quality looks like. (The first pond) This water quality looks abysmal.
Not knocking anything just my observations, pond one: no amount of K1 microbead will take out the TDS showing on the surface, I have the exact same problem with both my ponds but have no free lines to hook the clarity unit I have to remove them. A huge tip for new people to the hobby, install a dormant feed that can be added to the pond later
@@jasonsaunders9264 Please don't take that the wrong way you have an awesome setup, but a clarity/foam fractionator would do the trick, I know it's all money money money I was pointing it out to anyone 'non koi' watching this, again awesome setup/garden
