That's what you call a true hobbyist. Most of his garden is the pond. However its been done really well and who wouldn't want that in their back garden. ❤
Absolutely stunning pond and Garden Again. Tim we are getting spoilt with videos this weekend can we have another one tomorrow please 😃😃😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 really enjoying the video you put on
I have an identical fish to the black and white one with a orange circle on its forehead!! That's cool to see what mine will look like when it's grown up...although I think mines a butterfly koi
I've been watching more and more of your videos in preparation next year of having my own pond and I'm blown away how good these ponds are. How much power would a set up like this have to take on the electrics?
Thank you. Not much on this pond, 2 water pumps 150watts total. 55watt UV. Airpump around 120watts. That’s it really. It’s heaters that will take up power
Nice length on that pond. Enjoyed the casual chat with the owner, too. One question...how about a sieve filter as a pre-filter instead of a bead filter?
We had 2 sieves running at the shop before the beads came out and to be honest we just swapped them both for the beads. I have one running on a bottom drain and one via a skimmer, both work so well, no need for the pre filter.
Hi Tim, in this video you say the skimmer is supplied by the shop but it's not listed on the site is only to order and what's the price. Cheers loving the pond video's
Hi Kevin. The cladding is a white, grey, black fine grain called zebra cladding. Coming from India (delayed due to crisis) supplied by sandstone supplies in Warrington. Got the porcelain paving from there too.
You don't necessarily NEED a heater. It's more a WANT. The fish grow better at higher temps, so at 6 odd celcius in winter they don't do much growing. Be prepared to pay for heating that pond though.
Hamza Andrees...the skimmer line needs a pump is it is skimmer and returns to pond or if it is a skimmer and 24" bead and then returns. The benefit of adding the 24" bead is additional filtration. Hope that helps
Wow that’s stunning and slow similar to the design and dimensions I’ve planned for mine 😁 can I ask what the wall height is in the patio area from floor to coping stone please?

@@TimWaddington how many bottom drains I'm trying to find out how many I need on a 10x16x4
@@abelmaldonado6643 one would be fine? Use a skimmer too
@@TimWaddington thank you for the reply I plan on using a no niche with the k+ bead filter and a 220 for the bottom drain with the returns under water
@@abelmaldonado6643 perfect! That’s what I would do too.

I love the shape of the waterblade. Where can I get one like that?
Amazing pond and filter house. Love the feather edge roof, not far of a cedar shingles look to it. What blanket weed treatment do you use ? Cheers.
Hi Tim, in this video you say the skimmer is supplied by the shop but it's not listed on the site is only to order and what's the price. Cheers loving the pond video's
Peter Tomlinson they are hard to ship so don’t have them on the site. They are £200
When is there new koi stock on the website?
Another great pond...making me want to go bigger 😂
Beautiful garden and pond great video where is Harry getting the cladding from?
kevin Dodd I’ll check 👍

Hi Tim you know some to build pond @atlanta Georgia USA thank you
Fitz Fish Ponds in New Jersey Eban. Give Brian a call and he can sort you out 👍
I’m want to build a koi pond, do you guys have anyone you could recommend in Scotland?? Do you have to have a heater??
You don't necessarily NEED a heater. It's more a WANT.
The fish grow better at higher temps, so at 6 odd celcius in winter they don't do much growing.
Be prepared to pay for heating that pond though.
Whats the difference of attaching the skimmer to any pump vs a 24” bead?
Say again mate? Didn’t get that?
Quality Nishikigoi in some of the other set ups the skimmer comes into the 24” bead but here it’s just a separate pump for it.
Hamza Andrees...the skimmer line needs a pump is it is skimmer and returns to pond or if it is a skimmer and 24" bead and then returns. The benefit of adding the 24" bead is additional filtration. Hope that helps
What has Harry put on the roof of the filter house Tim? Is that featheredge board, looks really good and would like to replicate.
Feather edge it is with a 1 inch overlap
Hi Harry/ Any updates? Thank you
Wow that’s stunning and slow similar to the design and dimensions I’ve planned for mine 😁 can I ask what the wall height is in the patio area from floor to coping stone please?
Hi Chris. Height from patio to coping is 100cm then two steps up to the lawn. Grass to coping 55cm. Coping 50mm thick. Enjoy your build
Awesome thanks. Are those 9inch blocks? Pond is stunning by the way 😍
You never put the bag water in the pond water. Nice pond
Why not?
Cross contamination. Have a good day
@@duanekenny5464 what contamination?
Hello was jus wondering what pump do you use?
Alfie Rosa this one is a super fish pump.
How often do you clean the nexus 320 ?
Every 3 days this time of year, takes 10 mins
