I have kind of a unique question here. I have a friend who is a laser enthusiast. I've been considering constructing a custom wood display case or rack of some sort for his laser collection. What is the safest way to store these lasers? Standing straight up on the face? Clamped with rubberized grips around the body? Laying sideways? Any idea? Or if you, by chance have a method in which you store your lasers, would you mind showing that? Thanks!
I usually stand them up. But each laser is different in length and shape. So a display would need to be made to fit each laser, or each group of lasers. I may make a video to show how I currently have mine displayed.
@@mca0824 Ah! Thanks! Yeah that video would be awesome! Since I asked you this, I decided the best approach would be to make sets of custom 3D printed pegs to hold the lasers sideways, hooked on a pegboard. The pegs would fit a standard pegboard and they would have a tolerance that would allow me to add rubberized cushioning in the curve of the holder to seat the lasers on. The pegboard would allow customization of the display and easy adding for new lasers in the collection.

Just a tip for your future of lasing: most (If not all) 405nm laser pointers use 16340 batteries, not 18650. Some sellers don't know that and ship the 18650 battery with the 405nm laser, saying that its the right battery, and all the unaware customers try the laser out and burn the diode with the battery. Here in Spain there’s no restriction whatsoever, but on the US the maximum for selling laser pointers (i.e. the diode, battery and control system in a compact, portable case) is 5 mW, and in Australia, only 1 mW.

karzygijose if you haven’t bought one already by now to answer your question yes it will. I bought one from eBay just last week it was listed as a 1.2w and it can burn some things fairly easy. And it was $77
It's very obvious that the microphone is not connected. that built in Mic on the iPhone you used is not as good. Please plug in your MXL 990 or whatever it is and use that. It will sound 50x better. ;)
sorry if that sounded harsh..I just re-read it and it looked bad.. I mean no harm. Have you tried a lavaliere mic? You can get a decent one for $20 or less on ebay. I would be happy to give you some links if you are interested. The MXL 990 is more of an instrument mic. I also don't like the way it sounds for vocals. Try (as lame as it sounds) a BLUE YETI or BLUE YETI Pro. It is a huge mic, but I use 2 at work and they are extremely versatile. Especially for $150 or so. Good luck! And great video, by the way!

The Thor M2 is a 1.4 to 2.3W blue laser that is a good laser for the price. Usually around $80 . I have not tried the Thor Ultra. It is probably higher power may 5.2W and very unsafe to use. If you are looking into getting one, make sure you get good safety glasses.

I am aware of that, and I tried it that way first and it did not work, so I tried it with regular polarity and it did not work that way either. I tested the batteries with a meter and the batteries are good. I am not sure if the problem is in the switch or in the laser driver, but it arrived DOA. Thanks for the comment.
Got mine for $4 free shipping from China. No batt, charger. I got tons of 18650’s and a bitch’n charger already. What amazes me is the break China get$ from the US Postal service!!!! They can ship stuff from China cheaper than I can ship to my same zip code. You can’t return stuff from China for $12, that’s where they win. If it’s DOA you’re basically screwed. I’ll guess the failure rate on these from China is high, probably min 10%
This is sort of tempting to me. However, a few years ago, I got in trouble by police with a laserpointer. So, I don't use laserpointers anymore. I still think it'd be fun to collect different kinds of laserpointers, (operating).

you should link to the auction page or list the item number its hard to find the exact item sometimes.
Not a bad idea. The link is just so long and takes up a lot of space, so I decided to just post the sellers name.
use a url shortening service, then you can collect analytics on your audience while your at it. just use one that is legit, and doesnt spam or hijack browsers or steal your users data. use whatever googles putting out there (im surprised its not baked into youtube)
Great video
Can you sent me a link to the Lasermeter ?
Thanks, This is the link to the 3W laserbee power meter. goo.gl/QfJy33
You do understand that different color lasers need different color glasses?
I want to order one today so you can tell me what one to get that will burn and under $20 from eBay. thanks
I dont think you are going to find one under $20 that will burn. This laser is probably the best deal that will burn. goo.gl/o9LpmL
He should learn from styropyro.😂
Interesting stuff. I want a Wicked laser but I don't want to spend $800. I know they're supposed to be a top tier laser company. What company is up there with them?
Jet lasers.
Michael Thank you! Subscribed
Thank you. I appreciate that.
Michael BTW, I got to Jet Lasers webpage but was unable to find their Sale Page.

I'm just ragging on you 'cause I thought it was funny that you wore safety glasses when you were pointing it away from you, but not when you were pointing it AT you. Nice video. I'm curious if you tried to fix the broken one and what was wrong with it? Thanks.
Even a reflected laser could cause permanent eye damage. I did get it fixed. I sent it back to jetlasers and they fixed it for no charge.
You can tell how much someone knows about laser by what glasses they are using 😂.
Look up laser glasses you will thank me later
I like my laser glasses. I just cant see well enough to order new ones.
What's the name of the laser from elec mall please ?
On #2 flip the battery around , some are assembled backwards
Please except my apologies. God only knows what I was thinking..... I have removed the previous post....
Thanks Elon
Elon wishes he was me.
I apologize for my previous mistake. How do I talk to you privately?
You can contact me using my email at mca0824@aol.com
How are the lasers coming along ? I will be making a few new review videos. Any new items you want to get in the videos ? Look forward to hearing from you.
what can you do with these lasers?
These lower mw lasers are mainly for just pointing out objects such as stars. Not good for burning anything.
365-390 nm?
Are you selling these I’d want some
I am not selling them. I just do reviews.
O sorry
Hi, we are manufacturer the laser pointer for 8 years here, welcome you visit: www.wildlaser.com
@@laialice8975 If your going to post a link on my videos, at least send me a laser to do review on. I am happy to send you some traffic but return the favor.
@@laialice8975 If you want me to drive some traffic to your website drop me a message and I can boost those sells for you.
It would have been nice to showcase the beam.
I do that in other videos. This video was about first impressions and the actual power of the laser.
Hi great show I can't read Chinese I might also pack it wrong ...
How long did the last one take to arrive
Took about 2 weeks.
Michael thanks
Should i buy the elec mall one?
It has worked well and it only cost $10. It is 50Mw green so yes, it is a good deal.
How do I search the company that sells itn
Where is the intro song from?
How far they can reach?
miles
its illegal to have laser pointers over 5 milliwatts in the U.S. because they are basically retina burners
No
It would be nice if you would add if these lasers actually burn things like they claim they do in advertisement I received a small one that I was told was going to be a word GX laser pointer and it clearly is not and it did not come with the suitcase that Was shown in the description when I purchased it. I highly believe that this will not burn anything like I Anticipated it to
Are you still making review videos? Keep that channel going. Thank for the tip on the video.
@@mca0824 i Would make more videos but I've been on the road so much. Ill try to do a couple reviews when I get home.
I want a good laser poping balloons and starting stuff on fire is it possible for a eBay one to do that?
karzygijose if you haven’t bought one already by now to answer your question yes it will. I bought one from eBay just last week it was listed as a 1.2w and it can burn some things fairly easy. And it was $77
2nd to last one was change amazing
You gotta put the battery in backwards
It's very obvious that the microphone is not connected. that built in Mic on the iPhone you used is not as good. Please plug in your MXL 990 or whatever it is and use that. It will sound 50x better. ;)
I actually recorded audio with the mic but it sounded muffled to me so I used the onboard mic. Good ear.
sorry if that sounded harsh..I just re-read it and it looked bad..
@@Streetninja-ve6ls I have around 14 mics. I try to record and edit audio with different ones, and they always have a little different feel. You never know how it is going to sound once it is ran through the editing software.. People have different speakers, or headsets, earbuds, etc. and they all sound different. Im learning as i go.
What's the point without a brand name?
Great video Thanks
will the gold one burn
No, 32mw is not enough to burn anything except your eyes. You really need to get over 500mw to burn things. Thanks for the question.
where i can buy this miliwats metter ? device
@@laialice8975 again with the link to your products. I think you should send me a gift card.
Is Thor ultra a good laser?
The Thor M2 is a 1.4 to 2.3W blue laser that is a good laser for the price. Usually around $80 . I have not tried the Thor Ultra. It is probably higher power may 5.2W and very unsafe to use. If you are looking into getting one, make sure you get good safety glasses.
@@mca0824 ok thanks and I already purchased one yesterday .
@@Elchriss7. Cool, let me know how it does.
@@mca0824 ok I’ll let u know .
@@mca0824 one more question I saw that my laser it’s not coming with 26650 batteries and also what’s working voltage means it’s says working voltage 7.4v what is that cuz I might have 2 buy all that 🤦🏾
Darn I thought you were reviewing all them.
I can't find any of these sellers or stores on eBay
This was from over a year ago. The sellers may no longer be on ebay. I will make a new video with new laser sellers soon. Thanks for watching.
You can find the best quality and price laser pointer here: www.wildlaser.com
At 2:00 to the right of you you have a straight up ghost next to you!!!!!
Thanks, now I can sleep in my house anymore.
@@mca0824 who is smokin weed?
It looks like smoke
I just looked at that again. That is some freaky shit. I was not smoking and nothing was burning. Proof of ghost caught on camera. New video idea. lol . Not really I am moving out.
it does work you just needed to turn the battery around!
It did not work, tried both ways. I am aware of reverse polarity.
He lost all his credibility Winnie put on those in proper safety glasses and then on the second laser he puts the battery in upside down.
Reverse the battery, polarity is different on purple lasers
That's a good deal. That shipping thing has always amazed me as well. Why the USPS takes better care of shippers in China. It is beyond me.
second one has keys i have it
This is sort of tempting to me. However, a few years ago, I got in trouble by police with a laserpointer. So, I don't use laserpointers anymore. I still think it'd be fun to collect different kinds of laserpointers, (operating).
