I like the pink shining through, it gives it a little bit of an ethereal look to it.

OMG that is an awesome idea. I love customising things. Its so much fun :) Your style is so different from my own. I couldn't do the pink back and leave it in the finished painting. Yet when you do it, it really works and it suits it.

Ok giant greenhouse, these are my fav, painting but with oil maybe!? Or only using guache or watercolor, make it a little bit of a challenge!? Also PUT YOUR DESIGNS ON TOTE BAGS! I want a tote bag just COVERED in blubbleflies!!

And it can be at night and they can glow
Or you can do a new series where each blubblefly, like the old couple you just did, is in its home sitting in their rocking chairs watching tv holding wings or reading or something! And it be the inside of the house! I just have SOO many ideas!

Love this piece! Even though the pink was hard to look at after a while 😂
I think buying an actual kids’ puzzle would have worked better in terms of disassembling it without damaging it. And honestly, I don’t think it would have been more expensive than this version - at least where I live, it would have been around the same price. Just add a coat of gesso and you’re good to go!

Wouldn't it be cool to customize a clear puzzle with alcohol markers? I feel like it would be a good option if you want to avoid pieces sticking together.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm tired so my eyes are tired but there were so many camera angles. Upside down, to the side, above, then constantly zooming in and out. It really wasn't pleasent. But I did love the journey and seeing what you created!!

Why you don't do first the background and then paint the foreground on it so you don't have to go around with the blue? I never do it the way you do it. Always background first. Saves a lot of time during painting... there must be a reason you do it that way... thanks...
In most of my videos and art projects I paint the backgrounds first. This was just a fun whimsical thing I thought up as I was painting. But also, the point of this painting was to make the bright pink shine through and painting around everything. :)
@Mira Byler thanks... I thought that was the reason. But you were making it a lot more difficult. And yes, the pink shining true makes it good. It would have even been beautiful with a pink sky. But I guess the pink was much brighter in person... 😃
