I agree with this comment thankyou we need people like you that actually go and test the product not just do internet research and comment how bad it is on social media.
I had not seen those videos but I could tell by the way it felt it wasn't quite there. It is still a pre-production model though so hopefully they can get their ducks in a row and achieve what they set out to 🤓
@@MissGoElectricIndustry The issue with Mullen putting on this "test ride" event for the consumer vehicles is that the company has literally years before they get to a production ready model, and as you know there is a long way to go between hand made prototypes and vehicles that are suitable for mass production, meaning that the actual vehicles will very likely be quite different from what they are demoing on the tour.
The controversy remains about which is the better short term strategy, a Mullen GT like what Tesla did in the early days, or an EV replacement for the VW Beetle, trying to sell lots of them with a low profit margin. We seem to have more high end models presently but the verdict is still out. I was glad that MGE felt safe in the GT as I was a bit concerned.
We have been in this business for decades, primarily working directly with automakers on preproduction vehicles. When a publicly traded company is touring the nation putting buyers in the vehicles, the safety incentives and assurances are squarely aligned. -Producer Tim
@@MissGoElectricIndustry I guess that there is regulation on preproduction vehicles many of us have never even heard of. Good to know. Even production vehicles from companies like Toyota have had problems with wheels falling off. It must be safer than it appears.
Thank you for watching! I did not ride in the RS. It was driving around and went on track a few times but I think it was being filmed when I was there.
The company owns factories in Indiana where the van is in production and Mississippi for passenger vehicles. The sports car is stated as preproduction. It is manufactured nowhere.
We worked closely with ELMS as product specialists before they went belly up and Mullen acquired the assets. Many viewers visited us for a live viewing of the Charge Across America at CES that year. We are experts on the product and we understand that the body and components are sourced globally. The bottom line is that the product is assembled by Americans in an American factory. There are many automobiles from "American" brands which are entirely imported from China and other nations. There are few companies manufacturing these classes of commercial vehicles & fleet managers are interested in going electric because it's all about the bottom line (cost). They are positioned well but hopefully they can optimize range for future models since weight, climate, road conditions, etc impact range and although this should work for short routes in urban environments, battery degradation will start to play a role in time and they'll want to get ahead of that.
The Class 4 delivery truck is street legal and currently in production with deliveries happening now. The other products are somewhere in the development cycle.
As I watch all I can see is David sitting in a private jet looking like a creepy scam artist. I wish mullen would spend more time on promoting the vans and stop wasting time on that stupid $150k car no one wants. We are about to trade under .30 and 90 days away from any legal action. Excuse me for not jumping for joy after losing $20k on this BS.
@@MissGoElectricIndustry really? I didn't know that. Thanks for the lesson. Fraudsters should not be allowed to get away with this. David has no idea what he is doing and it shows. Lucks got nothing to do with it. Honesty does. Being honest about where the batteries will come from. Being honest about who can actually produce an EV. lol don't buy share based on such BS tours... they neeed street legal, optimal level production of any one or all models, and be able to make some money! They are still diluting stock holder's value!
7 semi trailers full of tour assets, 15-20 staff on hand, and 8 vehicles is more than we've seen from many of the world's largest OEMs at similar events.
the company might be delisted this Thursday. I hope it does. It's not fit yet for the big exchanges. the guidance is horrific. I think the stock price fell from hundreds of dollars to .40 cents. check it out. it's crazy.
So basically, it was garbage, just like the stock has proven. None of the vehicles are even close to production ready, and they probably won't be. They've been working on just these prototypes longer than any company and are far behind everyone and will fail. Thanks for the info.
The Mullen 3 was production and I could tell because it was the most refined of the vehicles I rode/drove. As Jason mentioned in the interview portion, they will fund consumer cars with the commercial fleet sales so hopefully those will get the ball rolling soon with higher volume. You never know though with start ups.. it's a tough journey through the manufacturing process. Thanks for watching!
This company is headquartered in the United States with manufacturing in Indiana and Mississippi. Just like every other EV automaker, parts come from all over the world.
You did what all other Mullens UA-camrs didn't do by going to see the vehicles yourself and asking pertinent questions. Thank you.
We appreciate you watching!

Love the Press on Mullen !

Absolutely outstanding video/interview and test drives. Thank you so much.

Damn that Mullen GT looks 🔥
Agreed!
Appreciate you questioning the validity of that "just over 3 seconds" 0-60 MPH claim! Other videos show 7 full seconds for the 0-60 run.

Just watched your video. Why is it not stated that the commercial vehicles are made in China as well as the so called sports car?

@@MissGoElectricIndustry the vans are NOT produced here in US. They are imported from china and retrofitted into EVs here in US

Thanks you for the video. I hope one day we can get a video from any UA-camr on production..

Won't the batteries drain when adding weight on M1 and M3?
Weight will affect range but more importantly the aerodynamics will as well.
@MissGoElectricIndustry thank you for your honesty.
DM and others are saying that the range is a conservative estimate to adjust for weight/conditions. We will see.
@@Aidybug248anyone will say anything to sell their product. "Sell me this pen."
