Abu Garcia Zata - Very Meh when compared to the Shimano SLx DC and Daiwa Tatula 100

- From first fondle to hour 40. Not one thing about this reel impressed me when compared to it's competition.
Loads of plastic. Very standard braking system. I expected much more.
I think Meh is a perfect way to descirbe it. Not bad...but definitely not a standout. Even at the 120$ price paid amzn.to/2KAFLtZ
I enjoyed fishing the Shimano SLX DC bit.ly/SLXdc
and Daiwa Tatula 100 bit.ly/DaiwaTat...
far more.

So u gay? I Lang 🤣
Hi Lang! Nice to meet you... And no I'm not gay... Lmao
@@TackleAdvisors 🤣 I love it!!!
Sougayilang is tackle brand reel and rod low budget
I think it’s pronounced zah TAH! Like ahah! lol And the paint job looks like a north korean jeep
"Very meh". Never a more accurate description of every single abu reel they make. Hot garbage.
And that's a fact
Seven years of brand loyalty to Abu and I kick myself for using 'meh' performing reels for that amount of time... it's been 4 seasons since the switch to high end shimano and daiwa and never looked back.
Hmm, I guess I'm missing something. I'm using the winch baitcaster jigging for some Lakers and I use it to cast with I think it does both well. My Revo Toro doesn't cast well for me though.
Sougay? Or what? Are you reely gunna picifun on my good time?
Don't threaten me with a good time...
Correct me if I’m wrong… but the frame is graphite, not plastic
I would never spend that much on a reel with a graphite frame 😂
It doesn’t matter at all there is no flex whatsoever in graphite reels now a days
Maybe not that much in baitcasting reel side plates... But spinning and baitcasting reel frames there can be.... Noticeable in some during the hotter months
@@loganvick3385 but the problem is for that price, there shouldn’t be a graphite frame dude
I always learn a lot from your "lectures". Awesome breakdown of the Japanese vs the generic Lews and Abu braking systems. I've been doing a lot of research on casting performance between these reels. You've explained it better than anyone on the fishing forums. Keep ranting, keep lecturing, keep up the great content.
Factor in spool size and it gets even weirder.. Lol.. I like this brake in the revo beast 40...didnt like it all that much with the 50/60...go figure
Man, I'm like the exact opposite. I've ditched almost all of my Japanese reels in favor of Abu. My Curado DC can't touch my Revo AL-F. Far superior casting and several ounces lighter. You're spot on with the IVCB braking from Abu. I wish they'd put it in more of their reels.
Still can't touch magforce z braking from Diawa
Yet the MGX platform out casts any Daiwa.
Dude seeing all those broke down reels and scattered parts causes extreme anxiety haha, please make more videos bro
Merry christmas!
Have you tried the penn low profile, I've heard mixed reviews, and I have always loved their spinning reels. Was just wondering if you have got your hand on it yet, or if you plan on it?
Penn is sick there penn battle looks great
The Korean company that makes lews is the same one making the low profile penn. love me some penn’s but that ain’t it, chief.
@@kevinblack6399 Good to know, thanks for the advice.
@@kevinblack6399 I don’t really like lews tho
I like Lew’s reels over Abu for one reason. Lew’s provides so much support for the military and veterans organizations. The reels themselves are okay. I have a few SLX DC’s and they’re just okay. I like the fact that with Lew’s I can get a reel that weighs less than 5 oz. without taking out a second mortgage.
This new Zillion SV TW really seems interesting to me. The fact that it's made in Japan is awesome. Also, did you know it has a clicky drag? I've spoken to a guy who've bought one and he said it has clicky drag. That is really cool honestly...but I kind of wish they would've done that with the Alphas Air TW instead.
Paid attack adds, pretending to be unbiased. UA-cam personified
What does that even mean?
@@TackleAdvisors It means you are paid to give brand specific advice based on your financial relationship with companies or unaffiliated brand promotion agents. Plausible deniability.
Nah, abu and lews are shit dojo reels thats all cope harder
Review the penn squall and fathom lp
I've already seen the 400 fathom catch school tuna under 30lb and tasty rockfish. I bought a squall 400 but only caught a few inshore fish. Biggest being a 10lb halibut. Which it just winced in. Only dislike the bad finish on the bottom of the levelwind hood. Tapers into a sharp bottom. Tranx, lexas, and the fathom all have this same area nice and smooth.
The fishing reel industry is either you get Shimano, Daiwa, Doyo reels, or some crap OEM reel. But you have to pay big bucks to have reels made in Japan. Oh and the marketing that reels will last of life time if you take care it’s is kinda BS considering companies will stop making parts around the 10 year mark even for the highest of end reels.
When are you going to review the vanford?
So-u-gayaling Lol oh shit I’m Dying..!!!! Lol it’s a Sea of Ridiculous so I keep buying second hand “tried and true” Reels from the EBay I know have a track record of WORKING.!! The older Orra sx, the Accurist PT and Code Red from Quantum are amazing Reels. Truly enjoy the Videos my friend Semper Fidelis and I still use my old Abu Ambassadeur 5500 Pro Max and it’s great after 30 years.
I can’t stand the worm gear hitting your finger when palming Revos but I do love the Black Max gen 3 ( excellent palming)
I don't care what type of brake it has, only time I use them is to get used to the reel.Every reel is different, even by a little and even if it's the same model and brand.Once I'm used to it all brakes are off except the spool tensioner,I still use that so in case something happens or whatever right before I cast and abort the cast and I happen to take my thumb off the spool it doesn't over run. Say I went to cast and my coffee tips over and instead of casting I bend down to pick it up before it all spills out.....or a beer or drop a lit cig in the boat...LOL
Actually I'll try to stay away from the mag brakes because they just add to the price for something I don't need. Also isn't any way I'm spending that sort of $$ on a reel I use for casting 1/32 and 1/16oz jigs to Crappies and Bream,I'll stick to the Shimano Caius 151.May get a Daiwa CR80HSL to try.If I'm fishing salt I may spend more for a salt reel, not the braking system. For now the old Shimano Citica 201b is still doing me just fine. It's fished for everything from Crappie/Bream to Striper,Carp,to Red/Black Drum and everything else in-between since I bought it all those years ago.
Shimano and that computer controlled mag,I have to laugh at those and the users that think they need and dish out the extra $$100 for them....LOL! Nothing like hooking a Basser every time with new gear and a high price tag..LOL
BTW,I have some ocean front property in North Dakota if anyone is interested...
I've yet to meet someone who can achieve the same distance and consistency with no brakes on. Most people that I know that fish brake free usually do so with spool tension high and spool bearings which are gunked up. I for one will never use spool tension. Right off the bat it impacts accuracy, increases start up inertia, and changes the baits trajectory off the rod tip. I don't understand the thought process of avoiding mag brakes due to it being an added cost. You can buy a mag braked reel for 30$. Many higher end reels us centrifugal brakes. DC braked reels aren't perfect. But they'r'e fun. And will outperform even the most educated thumb. Give some dc equipped reels a rip and a curl of line will come up over the spool about an inch and maintain that to the apex....teetering on the virge of an over run. You can't do that with your thumb. Maybe with a monomag knobby. But that's throwing 600' plus. DC to someone who's never used a dc braked reel. Is just fun. The sound it makes is unique. As is it's performance.
Additionally, fishing thinner lines makes the task even more difficult due to the feed rate not decreasing as much as higher diameter lines. Go up in line diameter, it's easier to go lower in brake. Add oil and spool tension you can go even lower.
Then there is the risk...use .003 diameter line and over run....it's game over. Braking is very important. Have a mid cast lockup...you either break of or need to cut that line off. And you can't even throw ultralight baits with any spool tension with any accuracy. Even an errant drop of oil will negatively impact performance and consistency. And it's all about fun and being more efficient. I don't know anyone who targets crappie with bfs gear.
@@TackleAdvisors Not many can do it I know, not many have fished casters for around 30 yrs either.Like I said, the tension is just there so if I need to do something as I was going to cast, and it's only set enough to keep it from overrunning when it hits the ground, deck as it should be set. When I cast for crappie and bream no I can't get it in a coffee can all the time at 20 -30yds but give me a 5gal bucket and it'll be around 50%.
My thought process is on the extra $ for the mag brakes is just I don't need to pay for something I don't need and sure as hell ain't paying around $100 for that stupid DC crap.Like anything, electronics, are subject to failure a lot more often than anything mechanical. Also I doubt the DC system is somehow less weight than a regular spool in needing to have magnets to create the small electrical charge though the coils..The heavier the spool the more inertia it needs to overcome to start and stop the cast.A lot of heavy line on a spool isn't good to cast light lures/baits.
I use 8# braid on the 151.Am I going to throw a 2 oz lure or even a 1oz with it...no.I'm using it to cast 1/32 and 1/16oz jigs under a Trout Magnet float.
Not knowing anyone doesn't mean they're not out there.I know a a good many welders that are "certified" and yet weld worth crap,I welded with many. Also know many mechanics that are "ASE Cert" and the majority of them are just part swappers and have no diagnostic ability unless they plug a computer into a new vehicle. But there are many good welders out there and mechanics...just because one doesn't know one or can't do it themself doesn't mean they're not there or anyone else can't either.
Your vids are good and very informative,I watch many of them. But I'll disagree here because I'm not one that has seen it,I do it all the time been doing it for many years.I'm even swapping out all my small spinners and going the casting route because it's quicker to cast and is more accurate than a spinner, also have less "windknots" that form from multiple ways that you have to do with a spinner to keep from getting them. That's why I want to try a 70 or 80 size reel to see if it's better than the 151.Sorta thinking it isn't because the dia of the spool is more than the 151,but I'll see.
Big fish are slow I find the higher retrieve ratios too high. I find myself going too fast use your thumb drags never been right on baitcasters. Damm it’s 50 lb braid w 12-20 leader shit it’s a little winch
Why do people get so obsessed with retrieve gear ratio's and drag force. Learn to use your thumb and crank faster or slower. And the Zata is not plastic, it's graphite.
I'm so glad you call them out for being a "marketing company". An all plastic reel for that price is robbery.
If you make a good magnetic or a centrifugal brake, you certainly don't need both. I bought the Lew's, Abu, Shimano and Daiwa offerings in the $130 range for a comparison video and I guess the Abu would be ok if the Tatula CT and SLX XT weren't a thing but since they are, the Abu falls short...and the Lew's was way worse.
Couldn't agree more
I fish salmon so there's 100% no chance I would buy the diawa or the shimano with their pathetic 11 and 12 pound drag I'll take the 20 pound drag of the zata
Doyo makes abu Garcia and lew's baitcaster
when the zata casting combo was ~$160 on black friday. I said to myself wow that reel is over priced and since the reel has been in the 120s on amazon since September, combine that with this review and well seems like it wasn't wrong. When something is always on sale, it's never on sale, it's worth that amount. Review was about what I expected.
Debating on a penn battle 3 Dx 4000 or a tsunami evict 4000.What do you think ? For California delta striped bass
Both are good
FYI for anyone looking at the Zata, it was also rebranded as the Roxani for the USDM market. Sold as combos at Bass Pro during their fathers day sale.
I knew a stripper that went by that name....
@@TackleAdvisors I must say, this stripper knows their way around a pole
Make a video comparing the new zillion vs metanium 2020 please 😁
The Abu garcia reels does NOT say "Swedish engineering". It says "By appointment to H.M. the king of sweden". What that means is that abu is a court supplier to the Swedish royal family. Their products are being used by the Swedish king, and that's why they are allowed to use that crest and phrase on their products.
The zata does actually say "swedish engineering" on it, along with the crest.
@@konradherrmann7195 It also has a chrome sticker that says Made In China lmao
@@AC-mr7is it does as well

Holy Smokes that Mach and Zata when you had them side by side, handle side plate view,They are Identical, because they are Doro, ain't it?Or Doyo?I can't keep up with the South China Sea freshwater Mfg.Aren't both the Mach Crush & Zata a 7 speed platform?I tell ya the Revo X 4 x-w is an $100 paperweight after a year of ownership and not even fished that hard.I'm not buying any more Abu-just Diawa,Shimano & even "Pissy-Fun" has decent engineers for budget-friendly Chinese-ium.Merry Christmas, dude
You're ABSOLUTELY right! Merry Christmas 🎄
Merry Christmas to you as well!
The last “real” abu reel was the spinning suveran launched in 90s. Everything after that is just Pure Fishing shitting on us. Its either a recycled china crap (worst imaginable) or relaunched classic (so-so) now.
enjoy your videos. one of the few you tube channels i look forward to.
Vanford would be great because it seems so similar to the Ci4+. Now it’s a premium price over the FL. Is it worth it?
If you care about weight savings, then yeah get the Vanford. If you don’t care too much about being ultra lightweight, then the FL is still a fantastic choice.

Aloha from the Great Lakes
The feathering of the reel is definitely interesting, is it different between the slx and curado DCs?
Damn anything at 100 bucks should have an Aluminum Frame I would think. I do have a Caius and like it quite a bit but it was 34 bucks new without a box on the EBay.
Very "Meh". It's a technical term. Merry Christmas Sir.
Dont get the gripes with graphite. Never had a problem with it
So your saying it's over built which is a negative?
Why so much trouble with Abu? In all these years I have never seen a photo or publication showing a broken gear or some other part including the cheapest reels (not counting the people who use them for years without the minimum maintenance). With the subject of brakes, I suppose that the company thinks of reels to be used all over the world ... with countless species of fish ... better to have more than less brakes ...estoy suscripto! muy buen canal ...saludos desde el norte de Argentina...donde se pescan los hermosos "Golden Dorado" 🎣🎣
Abue garcia revo sx is one of the best reel you can bait
Lews & Abu same breaking system , Duckett, Okuma same internal breaking dial. H2O xpress ethos bait caster all aluminum 6.6oz has a different looking break system and they are affordable. Would you be able to review that reel with a break down. Thank you

I am the exact same way with being a diawa and shimano guy I recently purchased the tatula 100h because i couldnt find a shimano slx dc in bass pro shop when i was there and the very next day they were in stock and i ended up driving the 2 hours again just to get it so now i have both and they are all i use now i have even sold off my other baitcasters such as my lews and my 13f inception because once i went to shimano and diawa i couldnt go back normally when im saltwater fishing ill use a diawa or a shimano like the nasci 5000 and the diawa baitrunner do yoy have any other cheaper shimano or diawa baitcaster recommendations to expand my collection

Only problem I have with Abu is the worm gear screw in the way when I palm it. Deal Breaker ! 🤷🏾♂️
I don't like to be a a@@hole but why does Lew's make some of the ugliest reel colors?
Cause they prey on all the googantards with bright colors, they eat that shit up
@@mypriusisfaster straight up facts this man is spitting
@@mypriusisfaster Dead on. Lew's is highly overrated. Had everything from the $50 classic to the tournament LFS($150+) and they are indistinguishable from each other. An entry level reel should never compare to the higher end models. All Lew's Baitcasters seem to be the same exact reel with different paint jobs IMHO.
@@thequixoticangler3364 yup yup. Most are interchangeable with each other. My man Scooby has proven that already with the kastking parts bin reel he combined. Lower end 13 fishing, Abu, Lew's, quantum, Penn, Ozark trail, Chinese reels, etc... Are all parts bin trash that can be made from the same parts. At this point I'm past my googan phase and only buy Daiwa or Shimano. At least they're not copy pasting every other reel and arent being so bro dude.
@@mypriusisfaster I'm with you on quality of the JDM reels. Got a Shimano Sahara 5000 recently and it's obviously a cut above. Not JDM but still, the difference is astounding. Can't afford a good Shimano caster yet(SLX is a mirage, guys praise it despite the fact that it's almost entirely plastic when they murder other brands for the same issue. The Kastking Royale Legend GT is the Shimano SLX at 35% of the price. Had both, dumped the SLX. Same reel!) so I will be looking into the Daiwas like the Fuego and CA80. Not knocking Shimano by any means, but the SLX is cheap and brittle. If an Abu or 13 reel had the same components at the price point, we'd call it like it is: A rip off. Shimano is essentially the Ferrari of fishing gear. No need to play in the entry level market on casters, but the FX and Sienna are keystone spinning reels at the price point. Daiwa is coming up fast, The Fuego put them in a new light. If imma buy a doyo, it's gonna be Kastking or Piscifun simply because it's the same reel as Lew's/Abu for less than half the price. Above $150, the game changes and you have viable named options. Below that, I'll stick with the KKs and the Piscifun reels for reasons already stated
I think Abu were better when it was actually forged and machined in Sweden
I’ve probably got 10 Abu reels mostly oldies and they’ve been used and abused
I live in the uk and it’s incredibly difficult to get Abu reels serviced anymore for some reason
I have some shimano reels and I really like them
I asked my local tackle dealer if he could order a 300 curado for me and he just started laughing
He says they can’t get anything from Japan at the moment or for the near future 😶
Fantastic job you do and I love watching but a lot of the technical stuff goes over my head... but I’m learning slowly so I thank you sincerely for that
I have cast some very nice reels and I’d like to get something really well made one day
Post pandemic most likely 😬
All the very best for the new year 🍀🌞🌞
So-ugay-ilang... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is gold! Pmsl!
Lew Abu? Ha ha...Love my Shim Scorpion DC, but still fishing two Revo’s heavily for several years now and they fish well - agreed on this reel though, also that drag on a baitcaster is just not important for what we all pretty much use it for, except maybe the lucky hook up with a big pike or musky. If I am going to be relying on drag, I am using a good spincasting reel.
No more Lew's and abu's for me
I’m willing to bet Lews and Abu are made in the same Chinese factory.
The problem with Daiwa and shimano seem to be limited left hand retrieves, shimano does but it seems in a 8.2 1 ratio!
I have a Lew's Mach pro combo. The roxani combo that Abu makes and I also have a Shimano chronarch on a st.croix victory rod. The chronarch is about 270$ compared to the zata/roxani and mach's for 150$ but it's definitely in the framing. The chronarch for an extra 100$ I don't think I'd purches if it didn't have an aluminum frame. The roxani/zata and Lew's combos cast almost as good and feel almost as smooth. The issue I have is when I hook a bass or accidentally hook a musky I can 100% feel weakspots in my frames on both Lew's and Abu
Shimano certainly feels better in my hand. I absolutely love the chronarch but for 150$ for the combo of both the Lew's Mach and zata you can't really beat it. If I ever buy reels by themselves now I always stay away from graphite frames. When I fish a frog on the Lew's or Abu for example and I'm really giving fish the beans I can absolutely feel it through my whole hand. Where as when I use the aluminum frame shimano for example I know what to expect Everytime I set the hook and for that feeling to be the same Everytime.
Can you do a ZATA spinning ?? What are the price comparison from the reels you are comparing it to?
The vowel A makes the A say its name
20 lb drag on a graphite frame lmao
I have the new Steez LTD coming in also. What type of bearings will it have? Abec7?
No clue...And wow...I just realized I haven't even given a thought about abec ratings in a loooong time.
@@TackleAdvisors Do you swap all your bearings out for ceramic? Or just leave them stock and use a good oil?
Now that was a review. Subbed.
I kinda like the way it looks. Any baitcaster under $400 these days is gonna have that plastic feel to it. The manufacturers have several names for plastic also carbon is my favorite. It's a sign of the times. My 2 yr old type R feels more solid than the new 1. There's more plastic in everything, but the plastic is better than it used to be.
I bought 3 Shimano SLX reels brand new
off Ebay and they constantly backlash, even with all brakes on. I've read they are factory rejects, hence the cheaper price. Abu Garcia on the other hand, I love the Revo x, best real ever. One big flaw, the side plates flew off for no reason and went in the lake. Any suggestions?
Nope, I have a slx from a shop, it’s backlash city and casts about 2 feet. They’re just crap. I have a cheap abu black max that’s 5 years old, been dunked in salt and still out performs it in every way.
I have a gen 3 Pro max and it looks very similar in design to this reel but Pro max only half the price. Not perfect but as a combo with a little jerkbait rod for 87 Euro it looks a better prospect than the above reel.
Lmfao soyougayilang
Have you looked at the Daiwa CA80 yet? I’ve been seeing those go for well under MSRP and to me it looks like a Doyo/Lew’s/Abu.
Is this the Boba Fett reel...?
Guys,I want one of those reels 🤩
Very much worth it. The rod and reel combo is 140$ at field and stream 💯
Man I love your Videos. Always very interesting and I’ve learned a lot about reel watching your channel.
Recently I discovered a very nice reel called FlashCast made by Tica. I payed 55€ for it and it’s so far the best reel I bought in this price range. Super smooth and very lightweight. Have you ever heard of it?
7:43 seconds I can never get back, couldn't go any farther.
I love the Daiwa Tatula 100. I have 4 o those and an elite. They are so much better then what Lew’s and abu put out and they are both made by doyo.
You are without a doubt the best reel review channel. I like some of the others too, but they have different agendas and seem biased (not only in reels but add other stuff to their channel)...
Please do a review on the quantum accurist s3 casting reel also the diawa ca80. And which would u pick of the 2
Hi, when you said you prefer the Abu's IVCB 6 brake than the shimano idc 4 and daiwa SV spool braking system. I am curious how does the IVCB 6 comparing with the Shimano SVS infinity braking system? Since both of them are centrifugal brake. Does is sensitive to wind? How does both of them perform when casting toward a mild breeze? Does the IVCB 6 cast further than the SVS infinity?
Because I had changing a lot of reel to find out which braking system I love the most. I had a tatula SV for finesse and power finesse fishing, I love the way the SV spool perform. I need a bigger reel for casting 1/2 oz to 1 1/4oz lure.
I had tried SLX DC, not the reel I like, doesn't like the braking system.
I had tried Daiwa tatula 100 without SV spool, doesn't like it either.
I had tried the magnetic Magtrax braking system, not a very dynamic caster.
Sorry for the long story, but I really want to know before I purchase, I have an eye on Curado K, Tranx 200, and Abu Garcia STX, still can't decided which to get. I scare I get the wrong one again
The mgxtreme easily outcast the prev gen Antares in every test outside wacky rig senkos. Same with the Steez sv tws which came in second most of the time. Not clue if the stx brake is the same as mgx... I really only used mgx and up abus.
@@TackleAdvisors thanks for taking time to reply my message, really appreciate it! :-)
Mgx has the IVCB4 while STX has the IVCB6, both are centrifugal brake, but different of 4 pins and 6 pins of centrifugal brake pin and different spool weight, mgx has a 10g spool; STX has a 17g spool. I will mostly casting lure that 5/8 oz and above. I also watched your casting test on the Shimano Tranx 200, very promising too. Still can't decided tranx 200 or STX.
Can you do a review on the Abu maxpro baitcast reel
$75? I’ll take it?
I've heard that 85% of the reels made that we in the US use are made by one company in Korea. LEWS, ABU etc. Some exceptions are Shimano and Daiwa. And guess what, those are the two you ended up favoring in this review.
Yep. Doyo makes bass pro, Abu, and lews.
Anyone in between huh
What is the brand of that purple braid?
it's barny braid and it loves you!
Lolol
I think it's sougayilang
Bru that’s also a salt water reel
It’s also graphite
What's the comfort casting weights with this reel?
Totally agree about the lack of a level wind giving far greater distance. I too enjoy surf casting, or beach casting as is said in my side of the world, and I would never use a level wind as the distance reduction is huge. CT cage all the way for this style. What you cast from the shore bud?
Cool! I throw a bunch of stuff... Tricked out Trinidad with a knobby... Tricked mag elite... Avet sx... Omoto chief extreme tricked out.... Tranx 500 lexa 400... Pretty much whatever I'm in the mood for depends on of I'm plugging or chunking.... Tranx 500 comes out around sticky bottom... 4' per crank gets rigs clear quickly
Great video !!!
Love the look of the ZATA just wish it was better quality
I would rather buy the SLX MGL and spend less money. Still a great video !
How about this reels for a little bit bigger baits, would the abu be better then? thinking about buying a baitcaster for my wife and she loves green stuff^^ We fish for pike mainly.
I'd go with the Curado or Tranx 200 for bigger baits. IF baits are a bit more resistant. You'd appreciate the squishy handle knobs of the curado. I'm not in love with the svs infinity brake...but it's still very good and capable. And the curado has some green to it :)
@@TackleAdvisors yeah i fish the Tranx 300 and the curado 300e myself and they are workhorses.... Love Shimano reels👍
Those are both made from a factory in Korea meaning the lew's and the abu
Look at all this plastic crap they call reels these days
I see this as a typical Shimano / Daiwa snob video. Anything lews or abu is instantly poo poo.
Lmao... Well at least shimano and Daiwa make their own products.. Daiwa and lews are just private label oems
Well because it pretty much is
Comparing 2 reels that are essentially made in the same factory and possibly the same line is not surprising to see similarities. Also t wing design does not play well with braid to leader line if that is something someone has intentions of implementing in their angling ambitions.
I've never had an issue with any Twing'ed reel and a leader connection..Not once...What knot do you use. I use either an Alberto, FG, or Pr knot......zero zilch nada in terms of issues and that's over 100000 casts. :) I could maybe see an issue if using a uni to uni with a leader tag...but that's about it.
Yeah, Nah, the t-wing is way better for a leader knot!
It's all I use and I've never had an issue!
Use mine for frogging and love it. $150 on amazon.
Lews frame is way easier to palm!!!
What would be a good beginners baitcasting reel? Probably less than $150?
I'd take a gander at the tatula 100. Very nooby friendly braking system that is 100% externally adjustable. It's a great platform
Steez ltd on the way? Isn't it like 77000jpy? UA-cam must be paying 😊
I paid 605 shipped with ygk upgrade pe2
I think I made 30k$ this year...... I'm Rollin in it!
@@TackleAdvisors yea i checked the price, its not 77k jpy, its in the low 60k jpy, which is about what you paid in USD. Pretty damn expensive for a most likely overbreaked SV spool with "Boost" gimmick and a silver paint that you could've just cerakote yours in for way cheaper. I bet you the paint will flake just like the 2014 Steez ltd too
Hey... Don't poo poo on my parade... It's Christmas.. Lol(wait.. There's a dude named poo poo that just posted)
@@V_E_G_E_T_A_R_D Just use your blackmax combo and stop talking 'up' to people that can afford nice things that know for a fact theres no comparing the junk you use to high end gear!
Need some advice about maximum heavy duty drag system in a low profile bait casting reel - witch is your top ?
I think the revo beast brings the biggest and baddest in a low pro
@@TackleAdvisors How about video with battle of more powerful drag system in low pro?
I just got the Lews Pro Ti. Are you going to review it?
