Food Chain and Deadeye Navigator combos are musts if you're running Mothman as the commander. Have it ETB over and over again and put as many rad counters as you want on everyone. Now watch as each opponent mills their entire library and loses life equal to the nonland cards milled that way. Even if they have a legendary eldrazi to shuffle the graveyard back, the life loss will end them, so they'll all lose the game before your next turn.
So how would this cycle work? Do you attach navigator to mothman? And use food chain kn them then bring it back using navigator? I wanna upgrade my moth man I'd appreciate the explanation 🙏
@@kingofthedead13 Navigator needs to be paired with something that either generates 3+ mana or untaps 3+ lands on ETB, such as Peregrine Drake, Palinchron, etc. Food Chain needs a creature that can be cast from exile, such as Misthollow Griffin and Eternal Scourge.
I love this! Just played with the precon last night for the first time. It’s actually a lot of fun out of the box, but I’m excited to make some of your suggested upgrades!
@@alexbufmack852 If you like them and are on a budget, that is great for you! I just personally want more from a land that enters tapped, but for cheaper lands I do like the reveal lands, "tainted" lands and the tango lands since they can be fetched. I'd be more down with the temples if they at least had land types on them, or if they had some requirement to be able to etb untapped.
That's certainly an interesting thought but then you have to worry about it being used against you. If any of your opponents use any spells or abilities that target at all, they can rip up your board just as easily.
I believe heirophant bio titan is an excellent sub for sloth. It does not come into play tapped, 5 counters removed is nealry unnoticable under the protection of mothman And the abilities are just next level.
My strat was Gravecrawler + Phyrexian Altar (original I know) Gets Feral Ghoul unlimited power for his death trigger Makes Radstorm go infinite for the proliferate against opponents rads It’s way too good of a combo to not include
Personally, instead of Tezzeret, Planeswide Celebration would be the card I would stuff in. Due to you being able to proliferate 3 times for (4?) mana.
Given all the +1/+1 counters are going around, what are your thoughts on Wildwood Scourge? X G for a Hydra that comes in with X +1/+1 counters and gets another +1/+1 counter each time you put one on a non-Hydra creature.

34 lane is too low in a sultai deck. I agree with the scry land cut but not the basic lands.
It's nice to find someone else who detests the "temple" lands.
We should start a club! 😆
Assuming you’re on a budget, what other duals do you like? I think as far as the budget tapped duals they’re some of the most generally worth it

What is your opinion of cowardice? It makes mothman straight removal
Great idea! 😁

I love Danny Pink (from the Dr Who sets) for the card draw and if you wanna lean more Mill: Imperious Mindbreaker
Some solid suggestions 🙂
I didn’t get much of the Dr Who set, but I did get 4 copies of Danny Pink. 😊

I like the milling effect of Mothman and the counters but not a fan of the rad counters.
There's a lot of directions you can take him! Very versatile commander! 😃

Worth a try! 😄
I'd add a Heros Podium in there, just to make all the legendary creatures huge!!😅 I'm sure Strong would have fun!! 🤣

You can cast sorceries with Grave Tide?
What is everyone using for rad counters
Would love to know this! 😁
Just can't stress enough on just how tiny the amount of Infect we are adding to the build!😷
🤣🤣🤣
taking temples out before signet lands in wild imo
Alex has a strong dislike for lands that come in tapped 😂
Cutting 5 lands out of the deck? Bye.
In all fairness the deck has a lot of land tutors and starts VERY land heavy.
I had the same reaction at first, but Alex hasn't had any issues with mana so far 😂
34 land is pretty standard. This precon comes with 39. So yes cutting lands is probably a good call
